The glue or bridge is The Five Elements Concept Cecil Lee Cecil Lee support@geomancy.net 1. Do a search using the search feature on the top-left frame of this forum.

2. For example: Search:  Lowest Common Denominator

There are lots more links; the above are just two of the threads.

3. The attached illustration shows that there is a "SCIENCE" in Feng Shui.

4. Furthermore, from the illustration: Gua or Kua has limited usage.

Gua vs Natal Home Stars Cecil Lee Cecil Lee support@geomancy.net These are some considerations:

1. You are "nearly there, but it is still not the end of the destination".

2. Using the Gua number is a vague method of applying holistic Feng Shui.

3. This is simply because Gua (Kua) is based only on YYYY (Year) of birth.

4. Again, in order to compare an orange with an orange, the FIVE ELEMENTS concept need to be applied.

5. Flying Star uses the five elements concept. And there are such a thing as a STRONG element. For example #5 is a STRONG earth element. #6 is a STRONG metal element.

6. Under "peanut" GUA method: there is no such thing as STRONG or WEAK! So how to compare this GUA thing (an APPLE) with an ORANGE? Wrong to do so!

7. Lowest Common Denominator (LCM)

7.1. Ba Zi can be broken down into the LCM e.g. Strong Earth or Weak Earth.

7.2. There is a difference being a Strong Earth or a Weak Earth or etc.....

7.3. Here, once ba zi is at its lowest common denominator; Flying Star is also based on this common denominator;  Here, one can then say that one can compare an ORANGE (BA ZI element) with another ORANGE (Flying Star stars of a sector).

8. An example of a Male and Female in a S2 Period 8 home:-

  • If the person is a breadwinner of the house, and the main door/frontage is unsuitable, the person should find a bedroom which is in his good sector to counter the unsuitability problem.
  • If the person is NOT a breadwinner of the house, and the main door/frontage is very unsuitable or unsuitable, it does not matter. Just make sure that the breadwinner is staying in a house suitable for him and to locate a suitable bedroom for this person.

Binding Element Analysis

This section you will find the list of Binding Elements which helps to bond or strengthen the relationship between each other.

Comparing between Binding Element
  • Sample Male & Sample Female (Wife)
    Strong Earth vs Weak Fire
  • Wood

    9. What you wrote is as I had mentiOned "nearly there but not there, yet".

    10. In the above example; husband and wife living in a Period 8 South 2 facing home.

10.1  Not only is the Husband's bazi element being considered but also wife's ba zi element considered.

10.2  Thus, the result is that this husband and wife's best binding element is WOOD element.

10.3  For example, if their MASTER BEDROOM is at NW sector which as Mountain #5 and Water #2; when we apply holistic approach; their best binding element is Wood. Thus, ONE can introduce wood element into their COMMON Bedroom.

    11. Therefore, you are in the RIGHT DIRECTION but using the WRONG TOOL(s) GUA number.

    12. Thus, it is great that you use LOGIC to try to put the pieces of a puzzle together.

    13. But, already, this is already a common thing when we apply holistic Feng Shui.

    14. Thus especially for us, this is second nature; and for every Full Feng Shui audit cases; this is already happening. And such thing is frankly, not like born today. It was born ages ago.

    15.  And as mentioned earlier the BRIGE is the Five Elements Concept in partcular STRONG or WEAK person + Strong or Weak elements within a sector or room.

If someone is a 5 or 2 Gua number (which is Earth element) and, they are in a room with star #5 (also a earth element), does the natal star still need to be cured???

It seems like the #5 star would strengthen the natural element of the Gua.

Can anyone shed light on this or assist with clarification.

    Thanks
