These are some of the considerations (without any ranking or priorities):- 1. Hopefully the stove is not directly at the NW cardinal point. If so, earth and water should be used i.e. Earthen pottery can be kept in a nearby cabinet close to or above or below the stove. And at least one bottled 1.5litre water should be placed nearby the stove area. This bottle should contain clear water. And replaced, say every few months since this water is not for drinking. 2. Preference for kitchen cabinet colours NOT to be bright chilli red or bright red colour. Earth tone or light grey or metallic or white is best. 3. Preference for even number of hobs e.g. 4 hobs instead of 3 hobs…

Frankly, in my opinion, one needs more than that to really change to another Period. Thus, I feel that it is not sufficient.

So long as when one is sleeping, it does not seem to "slice" e.g. like a knife or blade towards one's body. Thus if this can fold down, then best to be folded down when not in use. Anonymous wrote: Could you advise if it is okay to have a wall-mounted folder-table directly in front of the bed in the masterbed room? Thanks.

1. The idea is to find the "center of gravity" of a home. This "center of gravity" is one of the key success factors in drawing or drafting especially the Flying Star "pie chart" commonly used to analyse the "birth-chart" of a home. 2. For novices, if a house has too many indents or protrusions, then one may consider "cutting-out" the outline of the layout plan. And use paste this on to a card-board. Here, again the idea is to cut-out the outline of the home. And balancing a pin or nail to located the centrepoint. 3. IF POSSIBLE, the garage and backyard i.e. non-living areas should NORMALY be excluded. Again it depends on the layout plan as often part of the garage prot…

1. If the view from the main door is that of the staircase "flowing" downwards, this is inauspicious. As it is symbolic of wealth flowing our and downwards. But if the view is of an "upwards" staircase, this is still acceptable. 2. The most transparent "cure" is the use of grille gates "that have some reflective surface". For example, some people use stainless steel grille gates that have a reflective surface. Or plastic perspex sheet at the lower part of the grill gate (to block cats and dogs from coming in or going out of the house). As the same time, because of the reflective properties of the plastic (perspex) sheet, it acts like a mirror. This is provided that one's…

1. Based on the Situational Approach to Feng Shui, which states that no two situations (or homes) are exactly equal or the same. Thus, it depends! 2. Critically, all homes are also faced with the "time dimension" and "time dimension" is one consideration when we consider concerns like "financial distress" and "relationship issues". 3. For example, between 2002 to 2003, I had my fair share of review of homes with problems. Coincidentally, many of these homes have facing directions "North 1 to3" and NW homes also had many of such issues. Coincidentally, again, many who had been doing business were staying in Flying Star N1/2 and N3 homes etc.. 4. In Singapore, nearly eve…

1. In an ideal situation, of course before buying or (renting) a home, it is best to consider the issues that you had mentioned. 2. Otherwise, based on the Eight House theory, this theory has it's limitations i.e. either you sleep in that sector or away from it. 3. Given that there is no way, nor room to relocate say your daughter, then, if Feng Shui is applied, then; 3.1 If you are DIY Feng Shui, then consider ways to fix "leaks" or improve health/safety: -http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Main_Page#Key_Success_Factors_in_D.I.Y._Feng_Shui 3.2 Or alternatively seek professional Feng Shui help.

1. In an office environment it may look very odd to place some of the traditional cures like a pair of flutes. The other common method is to draw a "fine" red line much like a small string just above where your head is (if it is under a beam). 2. The pillars according to your description, may not seem to be a problem. Usually if it is a concrete beam, the sha qi is approximately 1 metre. So long as you are not "cut" by the pillar, this is fine or no issue. Quote: Irene L. wrote: I sit in a cubicle and there is a a concrete beam over my head in the office. I am worried that it will affect my promotional opportunities in my career. There are 2 pillars, one is blocked by …

In general, a crane symbolises longevity. And also the phoenix. During weddings, one can often find the wedding card with the dragon (male) and phoenix (female) diagram in an embrance. Otherwise the tiger-crane combination is more unique to the Martial Arts. And thus no major significance when combined together unlike the dragon - tiger or dragon - phoenix (crane) combinations. Tina M. wrote: Sorry I dont know how to reply to the answer you have given me about my tattoo. I made a mistake and put dragon and tiger in the subject but explained in the message text that I have learnt a the tiger-crane combination, not dragon and tiger and want to have a tattoo of both animal…

1. Other Traditional methods: Since this is a "metallic" "beam", then another option is to draw a small thin red line where this air-duct is just above your head or use scotch tape or masking tape and place a thin red string with two ends with the tape. The red string runs above your head. 2. If you do it properly, very hard to notice the red "line". This red line represents fire element to curtail the "metal". Hope the above helps.

Tatoo

In Feng Shui, we call the Dragon and Tiger as the "Green Dragon" and "White Tiger". Here for the external Feng Shui, the dragon is on the east or left side, while the tiger is at the west or right side (if we stand inside the door looking outwards). Nowadays in Singapore, few will get a tatoo where the dragon and tiger embrace. If so, often, the tatoos are on the arms and not the legs. This is because to be "harmonious" the dragon and tiger should be in an embrace. Unless if the tatoo is on the legs, it is felt that where we stand, the dragon should also be in embrance with the tiger. In the early 1970's David Carradine played a disciple of Shaolin Martial Arts. And whe…

Hello! Thanks for sucha quick response. Answering your questions, yes, there are some apartmentsoppositeour house, not identical to ours though, behind the other similar glass wall. I?m attaching images of the whole complex so you can have an idea of how it is,but you can?t see our specific unit. There?s also a floor plan of the 1st floor cause on the upper left corner you can see the distribution of the condo. Ours is the housemarked inblack. So we can?t remove the wall, and I was wondering what should I do in order to invite qi into our house, and avoid the bad influences and obstaclesby having this wall right opposite our door. Wind chimes? Water? Plants? Mirrors? How…

1. Frankly, this needs some analysis. 2. In many instances if the problem lies with the home, Feng Shui may help to "fix" such "leaks" and also improve the changes of conception. (Nothwithstanding other husband-wife - "medical" problems or age factor).

1. Firstly even if possible, normally tilting a door only brings temporary changes - and often not the best method. 2. The better method is to "tap" qi coming from good sectors e.g. if the qi coming from a specific sector e.g. a specific living room window, then it is good to constantly allow qi to come in from this window. And for some window(s) that has poor qi, then open them less often (provided these are not critical windows such as a bedroom window). If so, the window should still be opened to allow air to circulate. (opened but not fully).

Frankly, it is just a general statement. For enhancements or cures, the holistic approach to Feng Shui like application of Eight Mansions (Eight House) or Flying Star would be good enough. For Flying Star Feng Shui, usually areas affecting relationships are the sectors that may contain #3 conflicts/quarrels. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Cecil, I was wondering how accurate is that, the House ### have the effects on the occupants of the house. If it is, then there must be some kind of cures for it. My house is P5 #2104 facing S. It's said Mother and Daughter don't get along. Please, give me some advises, Thank you for your kindness.

1. Generally, trees are only a poison arrow if it is aimed directly at the main entrance or a window. 2. If it has a tree trunk aimed at a window, this is easier to neutralise. From the side view, it does show the smaller tree trunk (may or may not slice thru the windows). One option is to install day curtains can be installed. 3. Trees are acceptable as it provides much shade especially from the afternoon sun. And one of the "secret" weapons is the ability to attract "birds" in the area. (Of course now adays, some people condone birds due to the concern of "bird flu" virus.

1. Humans or each person has their (his/her) ba zi. Similiarly every home also has it's own ba zi. 2. For the home (landed property, condo, apartments, walk-up flats) as you had mentioned, some homes may be born between 1984 to 2003 = Period 7. In addition, under Flying Star Feng Shui, one has to determine the facing directionout of a total of 15directions. 3. Oncea full Flying Star chart is found, then one NOT only can find one's wealth sector but also try to find out and disarm bad sectors. For wealth sectors, please check out my many, many previous posts on:- #8 = current prosperity (0 to2 years luck) #9 = future prosperity (

1. May consider install a partition. Some comments on the type of partition can be found, here:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Divider_or_Partition 2. On / Off! When the main door is opened, (if possible) the kitchen door is closed. Frankly this may not be practical day-to-day situation. Para 1 is a better choice.

How can i improve this home ? Thisis a bit of ashoebox house, apparentlyfirst built in 1951. Frommy simple study of Feng Shui it would seem this house is attrocious in many aspects of layout , but it is very very cheap rent , rent prices in sydney are over the moon at this time , andlast time i looked i wasnta millionaire The room which is large enough to be a bedroom is in the north west corner , the front and back doors are in a straight line , so i put potted plants and small statueshalfway through the hallway to gather some Qi, i dont use the front door much , except on sunny afternoons, i currently have my office desk positioned with my back to the door …

1. Realistically, there is no "special" cure or "things to do" for such an event. Therefore it is as simple as : Move or Don't move (full stop). Or like questions of Yes or No: Ivory or Ebony. 2. The purpose of giving good dates is already clearly mentioned to you.

1. If you intend to DIY Feng Shui then, there are a host of concepts relating to first finding out whether are there are "wealth leaks" say in your home:-http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Main_Page#Key_Success_Factors_in_D.I.Y._Feng_Shui 2. Thus what you had mentioned is too general to say for sure what is wrong. 3. Alternatively, you may want to consider getting a Geomancer to "troubleshoot" for you e.g. your home Feng Shui etc...

1. In my opinion, it is very common especially for new couples to "conserve" their money and try not to overspent or worse, become so indebted even before carrying on a "new life". In fact, quite alot of couples I know previously, have kept some of the "unmoveable" fixtures such as what you had mentioned especially built in wardrope. 2. As mentioned above, money does not fall out of the sky! And often without money or savings or if we do have monetary problems between couples.. it is one of the leading cause of "separation" etc.. 3. Especially for the entire home, one of the best key successfactors is to definitely re-paint the entire home. 4. Prior to taking over the…

1. Frankly, in my opinion, higher floors are often less of a concern of being "dirty". Majority of "dirty" homes are either ground floor upto usually 4 or 5th storeys high even for a weekend house. 2. Drawing a proper Flying Star chart can often hold a tell-tale sign especially if there are high concentrations of "yin" stars in a specific sector e.g. a vacant bedroom. 3. In general, if you have brought all your family members to the apartment and do check with them how they feel about the home. 4. Otherwise, get professional help from Geomaners to do a Feng Shui audit. Many of us, especially with our specialsed luo pan is able to "detect" such entities (or non-entities…
