Dear Carina, Please see below:- 1. Under Traditional Feng Shui, it is known as The Eight House Theory or the East Group or West Group persons. 2. Quite a lot of information is available at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm 3. If you check back quite recent messages, I have mentioned what: 3.1 What is the purpose of the Eight House Theory 3.2 What are the uses and limitations on this theory. Perhaps you may have to do `some' homework by doing a search for this. As the same question has been covered recently. This is such a `wide topic'. It may not necessary come under Feng Shui. I would consider it as a belief or disbelief. It is natural that dried flowers turn…

Dear Lana, In my opinion, it is best that you dispel with "Feng Shui" for the time being. Let me elaborate.... If one is currently facing financial problems; the worst senario is to depend on the `type' of Feng Shui that you are practising. The majority of what you are practising is: the wrong type of Human/Man Luck. I understand many of us want to feel comfort by placing things in our homes, just because we read that it "might work". We can draw a parallel to some people who when faced with difficulties "drown" themselves with food. Placing figurines etc.. does not work! In fact, if we look at it carefully, all the best human luck is/are Free! I often mentioned that we …

1. Frankly, one must understand why there is a rationale for properly determine where the "mouth of the house" is. 2. The main purpose of determine the "mouth" is so that we can understand where the main qi comes in. And thus, apply the Flying Star Feng Shui. And not based on our whims and fancies to "snake" around the home to find doors that fit the static Eight House (4 East/West Group) persons. 3. Please note that the Compass School of Feng Shui does not depend only on the Eight House concept. And how one tries to fit a square peg in a round hole sort of thing. 4. Thus, one should not be too obsessed only with the Eight House concept; as if the whole world revolves …

Dear Anon, 1. Usually, these coins are replicas and `tons' are made. 2. If you are in Asia, these coins are plentiful especially in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore etc... 3. In the internet, there are now many Feng Shui emporiums. Use a search engine for Feng Shui emporium and you should easily find one of these companies selling `ready' made or tied coins. Do compare their pricing. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Todd, Todd Nelson wrote: Hi. I'm a man and not in a relationship. To be honest, they dont come by very often or last very long. I'd like to see what feng shui can do to help me fix this. My element is Water. I have been lighting pairs of candles every night, btw do these have to be the same color? I sleep with my head pointing east or southeast to encourage yang energies. I also attach a Jade double hope to the left side of my belt and a jade bagua on the right side of my belt. I figured…

In my opinion, there are two contrary view points: 1. The most common from a Flying Star Feng Shui is: often one hears this saying "Such a waste that the current prosperity is located in the kitchen". 1.1. For example, for the current period 8; instead of having the current prosperity especially double auspicious wealth sectors at the frontage; the current prosperity is "wasted" in the kitchen area. What a waste! 1.2. Here, if the double #8's can also be at the living room area; or area of activity where one can enjoy the influence of good qi. 1.3. For some, the kitchen and yard area can be "messy" and if the double #8s are located there; make sure that the kitchen area …

Dear Reina, Reina Bernadette De Leon wrote: My house was built in period 7 and its front entrance is the west (actually side entrance) but the facing direction is south. My question, if my house was built in period 7,what flying star chart should I follow, period 7 or period 8? Right now I have made some cures in my home but I followed the flying star chart of 2005. Am I right? Please give me some advice on what to do? Thank you. In order to determine if your home is still a period 7 or period 8, you will need to confirm whether there are any major renovations done in 2004/2005. You see a house does not change to the new period automatically unless you make enough chan…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: If theoffice desk is location that isunder the air - con ducting and air-con water pipingis and trucking of cables. Is it bad for the person sitting there? Of course if you can hide those piping and cables it will definately look nicer for an office. But if you can't then there isn't much you can do. Probably the main concern here is that piping might leak and thus if you have any electrical equipment/important documentsit might get damaged when it leaks. So you just need to be extra careful about placing important documents etc. Also, piping might also have similiar properties like a beam over your head which is like a poison arrow if you a…

Dear Anon, Frankly, there is no major issue with the poster. However, if we do stare hard-enough at a peacock feather, many of us may see a large "eye" looking at us. Perhaps, this may make some of us feel uncomfortable especially since it is in a private bedroom. If you really feel uncomfortable whatsoever, then best to remove it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Srikanth, I am trying my best to understand your question. You mentioned that there are anomalies under Eight House. As the Eight House is personalised to an individual. It is best used to find out a person's best personal direction. It is also used to find out the degree of suitabiltiy e.g. if the death / diaster line falls at the main entrance door, the house is considered the most unsuitable for the person. Next, the sector where the individual spent the most time e.g. in the bedroom should preferably be a good / auspicious sector. You mentioned that people who are living Here, I believe, each `people' you mentioned do have their individual Eight House …

Anonymous wrote: What if it is a parent string house but main door still facing other unauspicious direction for the breadwinner? Generally, it is not advisable. The reason being is that a unsuitable house simply means that you cannot enjoy the maximium amount of luck from the house. ie Death and Disaster, means say you can only enjoy a small amount of luck from the house. So say the house can normally give you 100%. If it is suitable to you, you can enjoy 100%. If it is unsuitable to you, it is like saying you can onl…

Dear Elena, In fact, a Feng Shui investigation takes into consideration 3 factors: 1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 2. Flying Star Feng Shui 3. The trigram associations. Para 1 and 2, is pretty much documented or mentioned in many of the messages. Under Para 3, the trigram associations or commonly known as life associations, NW for some Feng Shui practitioners is believed to be the most important trigram in a home. This is because, it is suppose to be the Heaven trigram or the father or the head of the home. Let me give you an example: Many Feng Shui practitioners do not like the kitchen or stove situated here because, to them NW is the "Heaven's gate". And, a stove is …

Apartments (2nd-7th level), you take the main door direction (ie standing at the main door looking outwards). 2 Apartments (8th level and up), you take the living room/balcony direction (ie standing in your living room looking outwards). 3. Dear Anon, Please read below:- Usually there are two method of looking at this. Firstly you must first determine that the star you are enhancing is a auspicious star. If it is an inauspicious star, then you will be activating it instead. Next, you have to make sure firstly that before you start enhancing that sector the elements are balanced. This means that if there is an inauspicious star destroying the auspicious star, you have to correct it first. After the correction, simply look at the element of the auspicious star, say water, then if the sector has very strong water influence, meaning there is already a metal star in the sector, then my recommedation is to use…

Further to what I had mentioned, this attachment shows one of the best facing directions of the study/work table at North (Prosperity direction). And if one "drags" the layout plan into the actual layout, it fits into each of the bedrooms (Master bedroom for Mr X) and the second bedroom for Mr Y. And for the bed, one will notice that one of the best bed head facing direction is East and this is the better facing direction of the bed-head vs having the bed-head facing a bad West direction. Dear Nevine, nevine al seidi wrote: I am strong wood. This means my colour is green. Should I employ more red and fire element, more and more metal in my home to neutralize my nature? And does this mean I should surround myself with less living plants? I think you are a little confused here. Kua (Eight House) is often used more for most suitable/best facing etc. It is based on year of birth so it is less accurate when you are planning to use for personal analysis. Thus, even though there is a kua element you do not use it as your personal element. Ba Zi charts your luck and true personal element as it uses the day/month/year and even hour of birth. So it is better to …

Dear Anon, Thanks for bring this up. Water plays an important part in Feng Shui:- 1. In the past, many buildings are built on the Ming Tang concept i.e. a pool (not stagnant) at the frontage of the building. It is a semi-circular shaped, with the the semi-circle radiating away from the frontage of the building. 2. Water is an excellent choice because with water position, it implies that there is clear space. This works well with the Four Symbolic Animals concept where the frontage of the house should have clear space or like a `bird' flying freely in-front. 3. Water is equally used in Feng Shui e.g. fountains are said to be good Qi enhancers or it creats beneficial Qi. Bu…

1. Frankly, what you had mentioned prevail our all other concepts. 2. For example, I was overseas a few weeks ago and similar or exactly the same situation as yours. 3. The existing owner was selling their home. And their daughter also prefers to sleep as you had described. However, when the new owner purchased the home, his elderly father will be occupying the "daughters" bedroom. And his preference is to have his bed - head away from the bedroom door.

Dear Kaushal, 1. More importantly, if your home has a `missing corner' you should understand what the missing corner represents. 2. This URL shows the missing corner and its significance:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/building.htm 3. Yes, a missing corner can be `extended' by using mirrors to `increase' its depth. However, this does not necessary mean that it is the wealth corner. But rather, if a sector or area has missing corners greater than 33.3 percent; it is considered a missing corner. 4. Where possible, the location that you are placing the mirror should not be an inauspicious Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Anon, There is no mircle solution for helping you sell the house in terms of feng shui. The only things you can do is maybe use some of the good points about the house especially if it is feng shui friendly. You will be better off making sure that you have price the house at a correct price, and ensuring that the place is kept clean and look new (ie fresh coat of paint). Most people will like that. Also, ensure you get an agent with lots of network contacts. The more comfortable the people that come to view your house look, the more likely you will be able to sell the place. That is about the best advise you can follow. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee…
