Dear Kaushal, The Education, Scandal and Romance may be activated if you have a water element. Also, a water feature should not be activated here if it is not in the living room or open space area. You can only active the star if the area is neutralise (eg. your 6 coins) and if it falls in a bedroom with the direction having no windows. As I mentioned, in the previous message; if Feng Shui is to be applied; usually it is based on Para 2... e.g. Flying Star Feng Shui and/or in the Far East, if a place has good Shapes and forms Feng Shui; it can sell by itself. 2. If you are especially say in the US, housing market is pretty stale at the moment with tons of homes on foreclosure and many uanble to get proper loans. 3. Honestly, Feng Shui is not a cure all. Dear Chee Foo, Please see below:- Since your flat is so high, you should take North as the facing direction. Frankly, for a standalone (landed property) home, it is much easier to fly over the new period. Since for the landed property, removing some of the roof-tiles and replacing them (plus cleaning the rest) would help. Dear Hartono, Grateful if you can clarify further. Do you mean that your home has two set of stairs or is it the building that you live has two set of stairs. Usually, if it is the building, this could be due to fire regulations where many buildings have two set of stairs on both sides. For stairs in the home, (interior) of the home: 1. The stairs should not be located at the centre of the house. 2. The stairs should have a turn or landing and not be one long set of steps. 3. Where possible avoid spiral staircases. 4. Dear Anon, I have attached a simple sketch showing in RED, the best areas for activating a mountain stair if it is present. As mentioned earlier, each house is different in layout and in some houses, the back door can be at the kitchen while for others, it is a standalone passage way. The best method is to clearly understand the concept that the mountain star is to enhance the `solid-backing' and not to hinder the frontage by blocking it. Hi Cecil As you know, I am involved with a 30 unit development here in Perth. For AU$1.6 M you get 255 sq metres of indoor floor space and 155 sq metres of balcony and terrace. A huge price difference. Here, we do not have any developments like Sterling, mainly because we have much more room to move than in Singapore. Dear Anon, 1. There are some differences in opinion over this. But the differences are not on Feng Shui but rather based on `beliefs'. 2. The belief is that it is inauspicious to hang a carpet especially if it has been `used' before e.g. stepped on. 3. On the other hand, some find it acceptable to hang carpets.
