Dear Annie, 1. Reference location map: http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/map.jsp?x=28803.82&y=28968.79&level=7&postal=088879&star=1&xyfile=&oldX=28803.82&oldY=28968.79&heading=150+NEIL+ROAD%2C+BUKIT+PASOH+CONSERVATION+AREA+%28088879%29 2. Yes, in my opinion, the Cantonment entrance is better. 3. Nowadays, with air-conditioning, there is no issue with road noise. 4. Given that often, one cannot directly affect the external environment; from a Feng Shui perspective; the most Feng Shui can do here are: 4.1 Examine the main entrance facing - and harmonizing the signage to fit the `facing' direction of the unit. For example, the direction will b…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- As mentioned in my earlier reply on this subject; this is actually contingent on the Flying Star Feng Shui. Yes, it is based on the Flying Star Feng Shui. No, based on what I have understood of the concept, it has to be a reall hill e.g. as high as a 1 storey building. For tall trees and bushes; often; it is not considered as a hill (since, it still no matter what allows air to pass thru. Another senario is that i.e. it depends! Since no two situations are similar in every home). I appreciate; that in the future, it is best not to use the "Anonymous" on topics such as this one. Else, I may not post it out. The rationale is because…

Dear Master Lee, I am renting a flat in Basel, Switzerland as I am moving there for a new job. Here is the floorplan of the planned rental apartment as per the PDF file (I am occupying the apartment that is highlighted in pink) http://www.homegate.ch/rent/105251077?tr=1 http://www.homegate.ch/www/ftp/f372/doc/201507231615172423947.pdf The door is facing the NE directiion (45?) as measured by a compass (from inside looking outside), which is my GOOD direction, as calculated by your software, as part of the paid service. My question is which room I can designate my living room and dining room, since the rooms are about the same in size and shape. I a…

Dear Anon, 1. Often a Flying Star analysis would reveal significant numbers of bad star associations e.g. #3 (disputes, quarrels, conflicts) #4 (scandals) Usually these stars may have combined with other bad stars like #2 and #4. For example, under the eight-one combinations #3 with #2 would result in quarrels, bad luck, lawsuit, lost of wealth. Often stars like #4 (bad wood) may combine with #1 (water) where water may further fuel or increase bad wood. 2. It is good to look at your home in relation with the Flying Star Feng Shui. And especially cure sectors that are out-of-balance. As each house has different Flying star numbers, a cure would have to be based on your sp…

Hi Anon, Feng Shui is no miracle cure for all problems. Feng Shui cannot control how much a person wishes to spend or save, this is more of a human factor. You should probably try to say get your husband to do like a financial planning, so that he can see how much he earns and how much he spends. This way he will then realise that he might be spending unnecessarily and start to save more. No amount of feng shui can help you change it. Feng Shui can help you improve the amount of potential wealth, happiness and health but it cannot help you on controlling your wealth. For questions on Health, there may be two possibilities:- 1. From Ba Zi, it seems that you though yo…

Dear Master Cecil, iv>I would like to thank you for your informative website. Recently i had been reading the available resources and forum messages.iv> Curre ntly i m staying in a bunk and would like to enhance my career. Came across some advice on placing a picture of aspiration in the N of the room. The photo is of a jet with the pilot visible and it is pointing to the bottom left of the picture. the photo frame is black in colour but is made of wood. Does it neutralise or create negativity since water feeds wood and water is said to be in the north. And also if my wealth sector in the south, if i were to place a similar picture, the picture would be facing the d…

Dear Anon, One size does not fit all when it comes to auspicious dates as at least both bride and bridegroom's ba zi have to be looked at and date(s) selected based on this. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, All over the world, many of us work either in an open office and use system furniture and are not able to or (have the luxury) of placing our table to our good directions. So this is indeed a consolation to you. Based on the holy trinity of luck:- 1. Heaven luck - what is given to us (Ba zi) 2. Earth luck - the office environment is only of the other factors. Other factors include our home. 3. Human or man luck - given that currently one is quite constrained on the earth luck i.e. unable to face a good direction for work, then, we should make use of our man or human luck to good use i.e. be a good team player and work smart ...not necessarily hard War…

Dear Lynda, Yes, given your situation, it is best to maximize the Feng Shui of your home based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Please see below:- However, white even for furniture is considered a neutral element. And since white also represent metal, it is one of the safest colours. Under the Eight House, if the sector is better for you, then, it is best that you sleep closer to the sector while your husband, sleeps further away. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sachin, 1. Please do a search for the recent posting on measurements that you had requested. 2. I mentioned that the optimum measurement for desks is exactly mulitiples of 1 Feng Shui sq. feet or an area of 17 sq feet. For example your measurements below should be in muliples of 17. E.g. 17 inches, 34 inches, 51 inches, 68 inches, 85 inches etc.. 3. Currently, the width of 34 x 34 is OK. But for the length, please subsitute it with any of the above multiples. 4. As mentioned above, the OPTIMUM auspicious area of a FEng Shui desk is to have it in multiples of 17 inches / sq Feng Shui foot. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Joan, The clue here is that both Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui are compass school Feng Shui - specific to a home/location. Thus, between Eight House vs Ba Zi, it is often, better to consider more from a Eight House point of view, than the ba zi. However, if one uses the Ba Zi point of view, than, one should consider it in general i.e. the main entrance. For example, what is one's element and strength? If say one is a strong water person. Than, a south facing house is considered auspicious e.g. Strong Water destroys Fire (south). Thus is considered a good home for the breadwinner. Thus, when we use the ba zi analysis, do try to see if one is weak or strong v…

Hi, If a house is built in a bad cycle, for example 147 spruce Street, built in 1995 during period 7 and is bad. And now we are in period 8. Does the house’s luck change with the new cycle 8?

Dear Master, I have purchased a brand new house in 1998 which is facing 183 degree (S2) with front door at the South side of the house facing also 183 degree, sitting N2. It is rectangular shaped. Based on Flying Star analysis, my house has a perfect "sum of ten" (mountain star and period star)in all 9 palaces built in Period 7. With Period 8 coming, I am not sure this house would be as auspicious as in period 7, since the chi of period 7 house declines in period 8. Can you enlighten me with my dilemma? Thank you so much for your help! Wang Jing

Dear Anon, 1. I certainly wish, Feng Shui can help, here. But there are several considerations: 1.1 To-date, this is indeed a buyer's market. And there are just too many choices open for selection by many buyers. 1.2 The only (logical) use of Feng Shui is (IF) one's home does have one or several favourable Shapes and Forms (auspiciousness) - as a major selling point. 1.3 But, often, many people nowadays also bring along a compass to find the best directions or to see if the house is suitable to them. 1.4 This is not Feng Shui. But I believe, you would have `cleaned' up or had touched-up repainted the house e.g. white *a neutral colour' to make it look clean and bright. 1…

These are some considerations: 1. These concepts are considered as "nice-to" and not a "must-have" situation. 2. There are limits to specific concepts: http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach 3. In addition, in a holistic approach; and if one is e.g. looking at a full audit then:- The Concept of Maximizing Marks Hopefully from a FAIL to a PASS or better!

Dear Anooja, 1. For star 5 for a period 7 / 8 house in the center isn't a main issue. This is because usually the center is not where most bedroom or any important rooms are located. 2. Usually for center of the house, it should be kept empty as far as possible this is usually where all the different influence will meet at together so not wise to have too much of any elements. 3. A more major issue where some homes are affected with the presence of Star 9 and Star 5 are present at the same sector. This is because Fire will fuel the Earth Star. So this is not a major issue to worry about. http://www.geomancy.net/wbimages/smiles/icon_neutral.gif Hope that helps. Warmest R…

Dear Robyn, Yes, the action to be taken, seems reasonable. So long as the pointed edges does not create a sha qi towards the main door, this is good i.e. cut it or "flatten it". There is no issue if it looks like a "crown" - with spikes above. As this can become a sha qi to neighbouring buildings. For the higher floors, just be careful to avoid it being seen inside the premises. For example, if one works inside the same building, the pointed spikes should not be seen inside the work area. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ammie, The Jade at 9 Bukit Batok Central Link. Usually, if the MRT track runs parallel to the unit, this is acceptable. However, if the unit directly faces the MRT track, it can be quite noisy during the day (when the MRT is up and running). And usually, from a Feng Shui point of view, can be considered as "noise pollution". Some of us get used to it; others tolerate. But, if given a choice, best to avoid it -- if one can. Warmest Regards, Cecil
