Dear Cecil, Thank you for the information on Numbers. That was exciting reading & learning because I have always been told that 4 is BAD and nothing good to it. Please advice if I didn't misunderstand what you wrote in the article. If the house is completed in period 7, and the number is 4040 for example - this is actually a good number? Because although it sounds like death, being in period 7 and adding up to 8 make it OK? Thank you for your explanation. Tammy

Dear Wilson, Please below:- ?h When such a combination between different Heavenly Stem (Hour, Month, Year, Life or Conception) combines with the Heaven Stem (day), will depend on whether it is a Joint or a Full combination. A Full Combination will change the element of the stem for both pillars to the new element. While a Join will not affect any change of the element for both pillars. However, the change of element say the Day and Hour pillar change from Wood to Fire. Does not change the Birth element of a person. ie Weak Wood does not change to Weak Fire because of the combination. The combination will simply remove Wood from his chart making him weaker. ?h How …

Dear Master Cecil, I just started to learn Feng Shui 2 weeks ago. It is so interesting to me. I am eager to learn everything. We are going to move into a new house soon. Dear Wilson, The day of the Heavenly Stem is the stem which determines your ba zi element. It will not change under any combination. ie. if the Heavenly Stem is Wood, but a combination between Day and Month changes both element of the Day and Month to Fire, your birth element is still Wood. Dear George, Please note that this general assessment is strictly based on Shapes and Forms with no reference to personal ba zi (date/time of birth). 1. One good thing about this layout is that the toilets are at `safe' positions (sharing an external wall) - therefore, they cannot be at the centrepoint. 2. I have bought a piece of Land (square form - 17Wx30D) facing South. Unfortunately (base on Feng Shui, this is not a good site for the land) the land is right in front of the 'T' roads. Dear Master, I read in a Flying Star Feng Shui book by a famous author that you can change the Flying Star natal chart of the house by remodeling. i.e. if you have a house that is built in period 5, you can change the house into a period 7 (if remodeled in period 7) or period 8 (if remodeled in period 8) house by putting in new roof and new carpeting or flooring. Thus the old house would have a new natal chart in the remodeled year instead of original built year. Is this a valid statement? So if I buy a house that has bad flying star natal chart, I can remodel the house and make it have more auspicious flying star natal chart based on the new period. Thank you in advance …

My daughter is almost 8 months old, born in November 2002. Her cot faces the nursery door, with her feet facing the door. Unfortunately I am unable to put the cot in another position in her room. Neither end of the cot is against a wall. Is there something I can hang above the door or on the hallway wall opposite the door to aid her sleep as I am of the understanding it is not good feng shui practise to have her cot facing a door. I'd like to know how important is the effect of the year and time star on a geomantic chart.I have a house that was build in period 6 with a facing of 210 degrees south-west.In 2004 my facing will have year star 2 and time star 5 in facing,which happens to be my front door too! Dear Cecil, I just bought a six rod hollow metal windchime and hang it in SE sector. Soon, my neighbour hang one with 5 rod hollow bamboo windchime near my windchime. Since that sector is more windy, we may say there is a windchime war. :) Do you think my neighbour's windchime could be considered a threat to my SE sector? FYI, my windchime produces more loudly sound considering it is about 1 meter length. For that big windchime, I paid $5 (compared to those at FS Emporium sites, it's cheap). Thanks in advance. Dear Master Lee, I got a new flat in CCK Blk 683B, unit 04-384 I'm from ken house group, born 1974 Pls advise if there is any issue if the kitchen is locate in NW position of the house. Dear Master Cecil, I started reading about Feng Shui after I bought my flat. Since it is a done deal, I'll like to present my layout as a case study for learning.
