I have confession to make! Frankly, such Shapes and Forms questions is about using one's sight to make judgements. And what happens when the key ingredient: visual sight or pictures or photos are missing? Very vague generalisation to often, it is better not to reply to these questions. The major fear is mis-interpretation of information. Therefore, especially Shapes and Forms or postings that are always text only ...hmmmm... what can I say!

Further to what I mentioned, 1. Usually the novice and some kindergarten level Geomancers do treat what you mentioned as important. 2. Frankly, as mentioned earlier; the proper equation should be:- TheCONFIRMED Flying Star Facing Direction = Eight House "main door" direction. 3. Why? Go ask the elephant, please! Which elephant? ... These are some considerations:- 1. Frankly, you don't get the earlier idea? 2. Your green arrow sign pales in comparison to the TWO red arrows that I had drawn. 3. By the way (BTW) these are SHA QI or poison arrows. 4. More critically: go find out what this terms means : TRIAGE This is particularly true to determine which is a better location for say the staircase area.

One has to be careful of the compass marking. As sometimes a sector may straddle between two sectors. In general, it looks more like a protusion. If so, look up at the chart I provided earlier.

Appended by Cecil: A photo tells a thousand words. Text and more text... hmmm.. The opening (walking into the cube) is not in direct line of hallway/clear glass conference room. Is the opening we want to refer to in Feng Shui the one we step through into the space? The hall and the clear glass conference room hits the side of my face (partially blocked by cube wall/ computer monitor).

Question: May I know where is the best place to put all the items such as salt, oil, rice, huat kuay, pineapple etc after we brought them into the house and for how long we need to put it there? The idea of bringing in the items are symbolic. It implies stocking up essentials. Thus, anytime, after bringing them in; they can be properly organized and stored in their respective places. And to be used or consumed, anytime afterwards. Thus there is no hard or fast rule to where to place them; but definitely after bringing them into the kitchen, one day must keep or place them in their proper shelves.
