Further to what I had mentioned, do take note:- 1. In your case, do avoid having the altar sharing the same wall as the toilet (even if it is only) the basin.. 2. Do take note that the Guan Yin figurine is already seated on a lotus flower; then even if one purchase a single height altar; she (Guan Yin) is already elevated... only make sure that the ancestor tablet is placed lower than the "lotus flower" seat...

Dear Lucas, In your case, for analysing your home using Feng Shui, you still have to consider your main door as facing North even if you do not open your main door most of the time. The fact that you have to enter and leave the house through this door remains `valid'. (Even if ch'i frequently comes in from the balcony or any of your rooms depending on the prevailing hot/cold air pressures). As your balcony is at the South, do also `ensure' that when you open your main door, avoid ch'i flowing direct out from the main door to the `south' balcony (if you have not considered this already). In traditional Feng Shui, it is utmost important to determine the `centre' of the hous…

Dear Chong Wee Wei, Chong Wee Wei wrote: I would like to know why there were 3 different size of Moth fly in my house on the same day? Is there any sign of the appear of Moth? They been stay at a corner for 2days. Why this will happen? There isn't anything about Moth and Feng Shui as far as I know of. So I too agree that this is more like insects taking shelter rather than any particular signs. So don't think there is anything to worry about. Hope that helps. If we are talking about painting a home. Do not forget that large areas where colours are used may include: 1. Curtains or blinds(living & all rooms that have a window). 2. Bed-sheets (bedrooms). The above are possibilities. As it is much easier to change the bed-sheets and even curtains vs painting the walls.

Thanks Master. I guess as long as someone keep his/her house neat & tidy, he/she should be comfortable staying in it.

Dear Ivy, Thanks for your comments and your personal experience on the use of the Flying Star theory. As for the Flying Star course, I am still currently working on it and refining it. My believe is not to `rush' and put up a course but rather, the quality that matters. I will e-mail you at your address given once the course materials is launched. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Allison, 1. In my opinion, once one bought the house and unless there is a drastic move (most of the time impossible or impractial to change the location) of the toilet. 2. There is really not much one can do. However, as a comfort: usually, if the toilets are in particular located with at least of the walls sharing an external wall; this is considered overall acceptable. 3. Here, contrast this to worst-off senarios like toilets at the centrepoint (the reason why it is better to have the toilet sharing an external wall - thus impossible in such a situation to have the toilet at the centrepoint of the house). 4. Usually the concept of the Eight House is that if one do…

Dear Anon, Anyway, to make it easy, Cecil has already classify some careers into the five element relationship:- Water Career Advertising, Arts, Brewing, Communications, Computers, Drinks, Healing, Laundry, Literature, Manufacturing, Media, Music, Therapy It is not exhaustive, but it should serve as a guide. Just wearing colour isn't good enough. You will need to have more than that to make a weak wood stronger. You need to have as many areas in your life with more water element (ie colours, career, house etc). Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi, Reference to right hand drive, can I check if house 1 under the picture is considered as in path of poison arrow? Is T-junction only applicable when its direct 90 degrees head on? Also, if there is a temple house separated by another 2 house, is it ok in terms of fengshui? Thanks!

Dear James, There can be other factors other than the main entrance: 1. The common `problems' include Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. It is best that you look at the environment, the site and the home (based on shapes and form) and where possible identify or let me know any poison arrows aimed at your house 2. For the interior of the home, do consider the shapes and form school e.g. location of the toilets, the placement of bed... 3. Initially, try to check on the above, first. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Michael, michael ang wrote: is there any way or any book teaches to calculate which year, which month, which day and which hour is e most luckiest time in our life? Usually most books, I come across only teaches you how to read the chart etc. Usually they will not tell you how you can find which day is the best just by calculation. You need to deduce it from the 10-yearly, 5-yearly, yearly, 6-monthly, monthly, daily and hourly relationship to assess it. Usually, a good ba zi reading should be able to give you this information. Dear Jenney, 1. You mentioned that you stopped using the toilet in the bedroom. Perhaps u can elaborate further the rationale for doing so. This is because it is quite common for the toilet to be in the masterbedroom. It is good that u do not use the toilet but I like to find out more how are u applying the principles. It is because the toilet bowl is directly along the auspicious line/location. 2. For the fire place in the centre of the house. Can u elaborate if it is being used. From what I can understand from your message, looks like your family is not using it. It is best not to use it unless you have a real need for it. If it is not used, leave it as it is and do not…

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. As this message was sent anonymous, it does not go into the mailing list and we do not login every day to view the web message. If you do so there will be a protrusion in this sector. Normally, for a house it is not advisable for a house to have protrusion especially in the true cardinal directions (North, South, East, West). Under Feng Shui interpretation, it is best not to have protrusion at the North. You can still use the existing center point. However one caution:- 1. Your Flying Star of the house may change. This is especially if your house is built in the period 6 or less (1983 and below). This means that if you have good star…

Yes, this is very wise indeed! More importantly, under the ba zi; when it refers to "wealth"; usually, the reference is that in many instances, our wealth is actually leaving behind a legacy of children.... Li Ling T. wrote: Thanks for your advice. In that case, I'll just leave it to fate then.

These are some considerations:- 1. It is NICE-to have and not a MUST-have to have even number of hobs. 2. TECHNICALLY a stove = Yang (Fire element). Yang is also represented by ODD numbers : 1, 3, 5 da da da di di di.... 3. The idea is that it is good to have a harmony of Yin and Yang. If the entire stove = Yang; then again technically; 2 or 4 hobs are PREFERRED since 2 or 4 = ??? Got it?

These are some considerations: 1. Cremation is neutral i.e. "ashes to ashes". 2. Therefore, there is no major issue in it's placement. 3. Under Vastu Principles (Indian concept of Feng Shui); best not to place their puja (altar room / table) aligned NE to SW and vice versa. 4. Under Feng Shui principles; Para 3 (coincidentally) applies. As NE and SW are suppose to be portals i.e. one for the "spiritual or some say devil's - main door" and the other " their backdoor". Otherwise, other sectors ain't that bad. 5. Para 4 and 5 applies to an altar and any objects figurines placed at these NE / SW sectors and vice versa. 6. Maybe the Egyptians place their cat near-by to their t…

Dear Marci, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- Frankly, the rationale for finding the main entrance door is then to `calculate' the birth chart of the house. For this purpose, if we are not certain which door to use, a Feng Shui Master can do a calculation to find out which door is more suitable. In your case, for the `front' of the apartment, you could `soften' the wall by e.g. hanging a decorative painting to soften the wall e.g. a scenery painting or hanging a scroll. As for your back door, you can't do much here other than to `hide' the toilet e.g. close the door when not in use. Cecil

Master Lee, Since my last correspondance to you, I 've moved my bed where my head will be pointing East when I sleep. I hope the following description provides you a visual of what my room looks like: [____East____SE wall__________Window(SE/S)____] [East Wall: Bed closet along part of S wall] [windowalong E/NE wall.1 ft closet] of headboard overlaps window [NE/N wallSWwall] [N__________NW wall___________________Door (West)] I've place a wooden screen with pictures covering the window on the East wall. The room actually "feels" better but I want to tap into my best direction. I would really appreciate your feedback. Thank you. Kind regards, Olivia
