Dear Koh, I believe that many of the readers in this forum are adults or at least adults. I have to apologise first, if you are not. This is because, what I am going to say may not appeal to the young. This is because, although it is right to say that Jade (or an object of jade is considered priceless) but; many are not aware of the "bad mouth" associated with Jade. If you are too young to read this... please close this message immediately.... STOP... Here goes... Perhaps Geylang will always be a red light district is because of it's association with Jade. Although many of us think that Jade is priceless, but if one research further it has SEXUAL connotations. Jade which…

Dear Kohsy, Yes, at the moment, because Geylang is a red light district. And, in my opinion, it looks like this red light district is going to stay for sometime. I believe that, in the next 10 to 15 years at least, this red light district will still be around - geylang. It is not like the government can simply relocate it to e.g. Pulau Ubi etc... Yes, and because of this reasoning; and in a recent documentary, some residents (females) who stay in condos in geylang were asked for such services. As a parent, we are already concerned about our children's education. We do not want to have additional concerns about their `safety' right at our door steps. Many of us cannot affo…

Note: Dear Spencer, I have edited your topic header to show the correct name of Edelweiss Park condo:) Cecil hi Cecil, What are your thoughts about the freehold property opposite Changi Prison called Edwelsiswicz Park (not sure of its spelling)? It is due 2006. It is close to a prison and the land is sunken below a road. What's the feng shui on this property by Hong Leong? regards spencer

1. What you had described is very similar to the development known as The Meyer Place. This is the link to it:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=5532&new= 2. In all developments, there are often excellent units, good units and inauspicious units. This depends on which floor, what is the external influence of that particular development. Thus no two homes in a same development is similar. 3. In the above example, the unit " achieves " a quantum leap in Feng Shui by "sucking" wealth from the duplex bungalow - directly within it's development. This bungalow formerly belongs to a wealthy merchant : Tan Lark Sye. 4. Location, loc…

If these homes are in the United States (US), homes outlined in RED would instead be considered as the least auspicious amongst the row of terrace homes. Please see attachment.

Floridian is a freehold development with a total of 336 units. It is expected to be completed in 2013. The development consists mainly of 7 cluster blocks of "earth" shaped blocks (rectangularish and flat roofs. When completed the development belongs to Period 8: 2004 to 2023 Flying Star Period. The best stacks are: The Verandah stacks #16 to #21 where majority of the facing direction is SW1. The Downtown block with stacks 02 03 06 07 also face SW1. While 01 04 05 08 are NE 1 facing directions. Hideaway block also have stacks facing NE1 in particular: 24 27. These flats should benefit from water star #08 at the frontage with the mountain sta…

1. In my opinion, it is not that bad. 2. Frankly, I see it more as a graceful geese gliding gracefully on water; see attachment 3. In my also; it looks less like a cooking pan as a cooking pan is rounded; where else this either looks: like the cake scoop. For example, when we scoop up a slice of a piece of cake to a plate. Or at least it is like a chopper as you had mentioned. 4. A chopper is actual good as this is an "offensive" weapon and the only thing is that whoever is in the "way" of this chopper e.g. neighbourhood land is not as good. For example, please see attachment Fabercrest hill site. It looks like the blade of the long Chinese weapon. 5. Edelweiss Pa…

1. The Scala has a total of 5 blocks of 17 stories each. Each of the blocks and stacks face a different Flying Star direction each: Blk 130 : NW3 (334) and SE3 (154) Blk 132 : E2 (85) and W2 (265) Blk 134 : NE3 (57) and W2 (265) Blk 136 : E3 (110) and W3 (290) Blk 138 : N2 (354) and S2 (172) 2. This takes me back to 1999 when the nearby The Springbloom condo has just TOP andall the units were sold-out. 3. The Scala by Hong Leong has got to be the hottest selling development in the NE of Singapore. Cannot blame(indirectly becausesomehow this area is popular both with the nearby amenities (and futur…

1. In my opinion, this small condo development with two stacks #01 and #02 get "top marks" for poor Shapes and Forms. 2. Pedestrian crossing Although the developer had cleverly avoided units directly towards any units; 3. SPC petrol station The main concern is the SPC petrol stations + fumes. Highly unlikely that it will blow-up... 4. When I was at this development, there are still units available beside this SPC petrol station. (Maybecancerous should one be exposed to prolonged fumes....)

Time to flee the property market The winds of change are always blowing. This time it has come to take the foreign property speculators away. The sharp rise in property prices over the last ten years was contributed mainly by two factors. One, a stubborn and foolish decision not to build, and two, an even more stubborn decision to let more foreigners in to buy up whatever properties that were left. It was thought to be a good thing, at least for those hoarding a lot of properties, other than the developers. Some smell self interests. After 7 measures to cool the market and with the last one raising the cost of foreign speculators, it is starting to bite. Boon Wan had disc…

Regrettably, it appears that the cooling in the property market is not likely to improve anytime soon. During my second visit to the new development, Waterscape@Cavenagh, I arrived at the condominium and made my way towards the basement lift. As I approached, a well-dressed woman entered the corridor. Just as the lift doors were about to close, she hurriedly joined me inside and initiated a conversation by asking, "Are you an owner here?" Inwardly, I thought to myself, "How unfortunate! She is probably trying to generate business for her company." The clues were evident, as she was carrying samples of carpet tiles. These are indeed challenging times for property agen…

Oops! It's too late if one has already booked Towers/stacks at lower levels close to the future proposed Petrol Station. The concern, here is that of fumes from the underground petrol reservoir and the daily pumping of gas (petrol / diesel) and the fumes flowing towards nearby stacks/units.Especially if one's unit is at a lower floors of Towers 38, 40, 42, 46 This type of layout within a site will always have (some) sharp corners of blocks aimed to wards its neighbours. Such as poison arrows from #21, #41, #42, #54 & #55

All stacks in Twin Fountain ECin Woodlands:are either NW3 or SE3 facing. 1. NW3: 1.1. Frontage: As the water wealth star (career luck) is at the frontage; it would be good if the unit's frontage has a water position or pool. 1.2. North sector: If the master bedroom is at this sector: need to disarm the MS#2 with #4 combination stars. Else could result in husband and wife having frequent quarrels. 1.3. West sector: If the master bedroom is located at this sector: there is a #5 misfortune sickness star + #7 loss of wealth / opportunities = Best to disarm this sector. 1.4. South sector: If the main entrance is at this sector: there is a #3 financial lost issues + #…

Part 2: Feng Shui of D'nest Condo & "sick building syndrome" 1. Contrary to popular belief; pool water is not exactly clean water. 2. Pool water is full of chemicals and even traces of urine. 3. When one enclosed a swimming pool like that shown attached + a gap for afternoon sun to shine the maximum period is often a recipie for high condensation of the pool water. 3.1. Here, on a clear sunny day; the sun would shine into the pool from morning (East) to (West). And this implies that lots of moisture would be created. 3.2. As this development's pool is long, narrow and highly enclosed and only two gaps; strong winds would further blow such moisture into homes tha…
