There is no scientific proof that magnetic fields especially generated by sub-stations are harmful. It is not like gamma rays from the sun or radiation: which are. Take for instance the MRI scanners in hospital. These are huge magnets that are used to scan slices of just anything that is not solid. Thus, it can scan flesh (human or otherwise) and even bone structures. Common sense: living next to or in full view of a bin centre: In Singapore, frankly, rubbish is cleared almost daily other than the unexpected .. but due to our humidity.. and how rubbish is thrown by residents (unbagged) or those durian skins etc... does smell... wind currents plays a part. And how high the unit is.1 point
