  1. Kind Attention: Mr.Cecil Lee
  2. Dear Cecil, Sub: ?2003Five Yellow?- Furniture Moving- Seeking Precautions After going through the information in www.geomancy.net , I understand that, the five (#5) yellow resides in the South East sector in 2003, and this is the most inauspicious sector of the year, and hence one should. avoid doing any renovations or earth digging activities or have entrance in that area. But, what if I move furniture "for once"? Is it safe? Or will I welcome the wrath of the Misfortune Star "Five Yellow"? Context:- Self a KUA No:9 person, who lives in a South 2/3 facing apartment, have Flying Stars : 9 Mountain Star-4 Yearly Base Star-5 Water Star, with House Natal Base Star 5, in the East sector of my apartment. Last year (2002), in order to neutralize the imbalance in this sector, I had placed a salt water cure and a grandfather chiming clock at this location, and as of date the salt water has dried-up, but the 6 coins are left, and I have judiciously not filled the Jar this year, as ?5 Yellow? as flown to South-East, which happens to be my balcony. The Issue: I have decided to sleep with my head pointing towards South, as it is more auspicious than the East Sheng Chi direction for me, as the South direction has the auspicious one star this year 2003. Hence I want to turn the East pointing bed-head in the East sector of my apartment to South pointing bed head direction (although partly under window). The Problem: Although my bed is in the East sector (fortunately not in the South East sector) of my apartment this year, it is unfortunately located in the South East Corner of the room in the East sector. As this room is small enough to move the bed to any of the other sectors of the room, given pathways to balcony etc, I am left with the option of turning my bed furniture at the South East sector of this room in the East by 180 degrees. Off-course, I will move the grandfather chiming clock, also to the South East sector of this East located room, but I plan not to disturb the dried up salt water cure jar (i.e. leave it as it is in the present location). Questions: 1)Can I safely bring about the above illustrated change? 2)Should I have to consult Tong Shu for an auspicious date and time for effecting the change in direction? 3)Should I observe any other rituals? 4)Should I also hang a 6 rod wind chime, in the SE sector of my bedroom? (Even though it may land up near my head rest, it may not chime as there will be no wind flow, unless until I manually tap it every day. But then I have a grandfather chiming clock, near that location) Note:- The Small Ta-Chi South East sector in the East room, is said to have the following Flying Stars: 1 Mountain Star- 5 Yearly Base Star-4 Facing Star, and 6 Natal Base Star. Hope, I have given sufficient information.` Looking forward towards your kind advise. Many thanks in advance. Janna.
  3. Dear Cecil, It is said that Grand Duke resides in SOUTHWEST 1st sector. (202.6 to 217.5 degrees.) in 2003, and that one should not do any earth digging or renovation in that direction. And also one should not sit facing the Grand Duke, but one can sit along with him (i.e to have one?s back to the Grand Duke). ?But can one sit or work etc at that location, at 202.6 to 217.5 degrees from the center of the apartment?? i.e given my South 2/3 facing Period 7 apartment on the 9th floor of a multi-storey appt.bldg, with main door at the North Palace, has 8 Mountain Star-4 Yearly Base Star (with 3 Natal Base Star)-6 Water Star, at the South West Palace. Given that my KUA NO is 9, I am facing South 180 to 185 degrees, with my work table/computer, to face the window and playground beneath, as the South has the Auspicious ?One? star this year. So, can one work at that area (South West 1st sector (202.6 to 217.5 degrees from the center of the apt)??? Many thanks, Janna
  4. Dear Cecil, Sub: Is ?Set of 6 Coins? Cure proportional to the no. of. Doors, in the afflicted area with Sickness Star Two Black? Ref: Invaluable archive in www.geomancy.net. I have in my North Grid with 7-2-7 Flying stars (i.e Mountain Star-Yearly Base Star-Water Star; Period 7 House), where my Main Door is located. And after consulting your archive, I have decided to put into action , the ?6 Chinese Coin Cure?, as members of my household are repeatedly falling sick since beginning of this month, after very small relapses. But, I have a problem, i.e. I have number of doors in the Northern Grid of my house, where the Two Black Yearly Base Star has flown into since beginning of this month. Therefore, should I hang ?One Set of 6 Coins?, on the wall section on top of each of the door? Or just on top of main door only, will suffice? (But note, other doors are more activated by family members frequent movement inside the house, vis-?-vis movement across the only main entrance door, located in the North sector). A) That is, if one has ?N? number of doors in this location with 2 Black Sickness star, then one should have ?N? numbers of ?6 Coins Set?, on top of each door in this afflicted sector? OR WHAT SHOULD I DO / ADVISE ???? B) Can I hang more than ?One set of Six Coins? over one door? That is if I have two or three sets, will this enhance the curing ability, vis-?-vis ?One set? ? OR Should the number of sets of ?Six Coins? over one door, be dependent on number of people in the house or any other factor? C) Which side of the tightly tied Chinese Coins with red thread should face towards the inside of the house? I.e the Yang Side (with Chinese letters) or the Yin side (with Year written)??? D) Can I leave this ?Set of Six Coins?, undisturbed till Feb 2004, or I should judiciously consult the total effect with monthly stars flying into this grid, every month, and then decide whether to hang it for that month or not??? E) If those doors located in the Small Qi 7-2-7 area, if the Flying Stars of the house are imposed on each room, then should those doors also be applied with ?6 Coins Cure? (i.e those doors located in the North sector of each room)??? Many thanks in advance. Janna
  5. Dear Cecil, Sub: SEEKING FORMULA TO DETERMINE SAFE AREAS FOR LOCATING ?TOILET?. Ref: Valuable archive at "WWW.GEOMANCY.NET". It is generally said as a rule-set (taboo) in Internal Forms Feng Shui, that Toilet [more accurately toilet bowl] should not be located in cases such as (1) Center of an apartment/house; (2) Near the main door entrance [i.e, in the foyer area] of an apartment/house and (3) Above the bedroom [perhaps the bed] or above the kitchen [perhaps the stove/oven] or above the main door entrance. In all these cases, is there a mathematical formula, to measure, the safe distance area, where the toilet [or toilet bowl] can be located, considering a layout of an apartment or house varies from ?small? to ?big? to ?very big?, depending on the factors such as size of rooms, number of rooms etc ? For Example: If we can consider a circle [with radius ?r?] as the small area with the toilet bowl at center ?o?, then the above illustrated cases of (1), (2), (3), should not be within the area of the small circle with radius ?r?, with the toilet bowl at ?o?. In this case, how can we define ?r?, if ?r?=A*(R), wherein A is the constant factor, we need to know [???, if you can help us], and ?R? is the radius of the circle imposed on a rectangular[or square, etc] layout of the apartment of the house. With the consideration ?D? (Diameter)= 2 *R. And Assumption[Pythagoras Theory]:- If an approximate rectangle of fit is imposed on the apartment/house layout, with say, ?L? ? Length; ?B?- Breadth; or ?D? ? Diagonal (or Diameter of the circle of fit on the layout) =Square root of {( L to the power of 2) + (B to the power of 2)}. Your assistance in indicating what should be the constant factor ?A? [i.e A=0.10 or 0.15 or 0.20 or ??? etc], will be very helpful. Because, from this ?A?, one can calculate ?r?, and can avoid placing location cases such as (1) or (2) or (3) within the taboo circle areas with radius ?r?, from the toilet bowl location point ?o?. ?MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE?. Janna
  6. Dear Cecil, The portal/links of ?Geomancy.net? has lot of interesting material w.r.to Palmistry / Astrology / Facial Fortune Telling etc, but it will be great if you can also post more w.r to Chinese Geomancy of Facial Reading, like the following details: a)Element corresponding to each feature in our human body (e.g. Hair / Eyes / Nose etc with respect to Water/Wood/Fire/Metal/Earth elements etc). b)Should one consult ones ?Ba Zi?(Pillars of Destiny) and Seasons, before removing a ?not so auspicious mole?, by cosmetic surgery etc, for improving ones wealth/health etc (i.e. considering the fact that these moles may represent an element, and removing this element, in a particular season does not adversely affect the balance of ones elements) ? c)Shape of facial features (nose, ears, eyebrows, forehead, cheeks, chin, lips etc), in association with wealth, health etc. d)Your opinion regarding this type of geomancy: Is this popular this art? Is it reliable or risky/dangerous? (i.e altering /removing certain existing features like ?inauspicious moles? etc in the human body, to seek better health/fortune/happiness etc). Will be glad if you can provide some material regarding this legendary Chinese art if possible (if not now, may be latter). Many thanks in advance, Janna,
  7. Dear Cecil, I was glad to receive your inputs, but however seeking more discussions on this subject, as below:- A)Which of the following can one hypothesize (without taking into account the personalization of the stars to a person?s element, at the main entrance)? 1)Three combinations chart although not the most auspicious chart, but a chart with minimum number of leaks, when compared to other charts in Flying Stars Feng Shui. 2)Three combinations chart is more auspicious than a chart with double 7 in the main entrance during period 7 or a chart with double 8 in the main entrance during period 8 . 3)Three combinations when cross-referenced with yearly star and monthly stars, will bring about the least imbalance of elements in a palace without any cures to be placed. OR ?Any other hypothesis, which will better suit?? B)Personalization of Three combination chart, to the person and the house: Given your below explanation, can we deduce the following? 1)The elements in the main entrance of three combination chart should be favorable to the breadwinner(other persons) of the house. E.g the THE TRIGRAM KUA NO of the person (the self-guardian element), should be supported by(productive cycle) the BASE STAR of the Flying Star palace in the main entrance of the house. Similarly, the Water Star of the FS palace in the main entrance of the house should support (or be controlled by ) the person?s guardian element, for GOOD WEALTH. Similarly, the Mountain Star of the FS of the Entrance palace should support (or be controlled by) the person?s guardian element, for GOOD HEALTH. 2)Similarly the Ba Zi element (Day element) of a person depending on Strong / Weak character, should be supported (not controlled), by the BASE STAR (for suitability to the house) , WATER STAR (for Wealth) , MOUNTAIN STAR (for Health) at the entrance palace. 3)Similarly, analysis for the most used palace by the person e.g bedroom etc. 4)All analysis to be made for YEARLY STAR for each palaces, for placing cures, except for ?the Entrance Palace? and ?most used palace?, where monthly analysis also needs to be done (i.e 5 star analysis-i.e WS, MS, Yearly BS, Monthly Star, Natal Base Star), for placing cures 5)Utilize the five element concept (inter-relationship) and timeliness to enhance the good star, and reduce the bad star effect, taking into consideration the Yearly, and Monthly stars. C) Can the same analysis also be used for ?Combination 10 special charts?? D) Do you think ?Special Charts? are a favorite with Feng Shui Masters for prescribing to their clients, in Singapore / Hong Kong / Taiwan etc ? (i.e is it popular with FS specialists?)-Your personal opinion. Thanks in advance, so that one can understand and appreciate the ?special charts? better. Janna,
  8. Dear Cecil, 1)Can you throw some light on ?Special Flying Charts involving either Star Combinations in each palace of 1,4,7 or 2,5,8 or 3,6,9 (i.e every palace with any one of these combinations)? 2)Does these combinations bring very great fortune and luck? 3)A) Is the influence of these charts are so good, that they override unfortunate charts such as ?Reverse Chart? etc, and bring very good fortune? B) Is the influence is so good, that one does not worry about Flying star combinations in any sector/palace in rooms etc (i.e.yearly/monthly review of flying stars etc)? 4)What are the limitations of this type of special chart? 5)What to do to get maximum benefit of this type of Special FS chart? Many thanks in advance. Janna
  9. Dear Cecil, Further, to the nice illustration you had shown in this forum advise archive, I went searching for a ?Bottle Gourd?, but what I could manage from a shop, which sells lot of Chinese/Oriental Charms , is a ?Ceramic Bottle Gourd (Similar to the shape you had posted in this forum)? for about a Dollar, but small (i.e about 7.5 centimeters in height, and the lower bulge at about 4 centimeters diameters). It is made in china, as it has Chinese letters beneath, and decorative pictures on it. Do you think, that this will be effective for example :a) to avoid chi flowing out from window or b) Bedroom next to toilet bowl wall etc??? If not, what should be the ideal size of ?Bottle Gourd?? Will ceramic material be effective ? Many thanks. Janna
  10. Dear Cecil, If it is possible to know the following:- 1)What is ?Ho To diagram??, and what are ?Ho To numbers?? and how can it be of use? 2)What does this mysterious diagram of Feng Shui imply? And how should one interpret these numbers in Flying Chart? 3)How should the numbers in ?Ho To diagram?, be read in lieu with ?Lo Shu diagram?? Thanks in advance. Regards, Janna
