Cecil, some books say that in order to have good luck in relationships, you have to have two night stands by the bed on each side. It?s not a good idea not to have night stands at all or only have one. Do you also think this really matters? Thank you.

Thank you, Cecil. I just wanted to verify that in this case the forms and shapes mean it's more important for the bed to be farther from the door, even if it means that it will be positioned in my unfavorable direction. Did I understand correctly? thanks.

Cecil, it is my understanding that fire is destroyed by water. In this case, is it a bad idea to use "floating" water candles if I need to stimulate fire in certain areas? Thanks

Cecil, I have a question about bed direction. My best direction is west/southwest, that's also the location of my bedroom in relation to the house. However, the door to the bedroom is in the northwest, so placing the bed in southwest corner of the bedroom places it in front of the door. Which in this case takes precedence, the "best direction" or the fact that it's not a good idea to place the bed in front of the door? many thanks!
