We are considering the purchase of beautiful property with a small family cemetery (5-6 unmarked graves)in the middle of the front yard, which are ringed by mature hardwood trees. The front of the lot faces south (left corner) to west (right corner). We plan to locate our house so that it is slightly to the left of grave site and approx. 10-15 feet behind it. I am quite concerned about building on this lot because my husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and I do not want to move to a location where death literally sits in front of our home. What can we do to the landscape to create positive energy on the lot? What is the best position for placing the house in relation to the site? Or should we just keep looking for a better site?
