  1. OK -- point well taken. :) Yvonne
  2. Hello, We recently purchased our new home and are in the process of redecorating the master bedroom. We have an East house, my husband is East, I am Southwest and my daughter is Southeast. Our master bedroom falls between the West and Southwest lines and looks like a diamond shape when put on the directional grid, with my husband's Death line going directly through the bathroom attached to our bedroom. We have sliding glass doors in our master bedroom leading out to a brick patio. The doors are covered with vertical blinds (we used to have standard mini blinds but they drove my husband crazy and he feels better with the vertical). Our bed is on the opposite wall and faces the sliding glass doors. Here is a diagram: http://home.mindspring.com/~matlosz/feng%20shui%20-%204005%20oak%20hollow%20dr.doc I included the garage in the living area because my husband's workshop is there and he spends a lot of time there. We don't park our cars there, but enter the house through the door connecting the garage and kitchen. This is a very contemporary house and has an upstairs that I did not include on the diagram. There is a loft overlooking the family room and the walls in that whole area are covered in cedar planking. My primary questions are how to balance out the good/bad areas since my husband's chart is almost the complete opposite of mine. I noticed that most of his good areas fall in the garage and I am rarely in there other than walking to and from the car. I'd also like to get some ides for things to hang over the bed. For the past 7 years it has been remained blank (even in our old house) because i never found anything that felt appropriate. Thank you so much for your insight! Yvonne
