  1. Dear Cecil, You have been very helpful and I truly thank you for it. Since Period 8 is officially here, I will be making the renovation soon to welcome the new chi. However, before seeking your advise on the renovation, I desperately need your advise on my bedroom as I am loosing sleep worrying about the arrangement. Let me apologise in advance if I am long-winded since I try to provide as much info as possible for you. Below are the info: 1) My apartment faces S1 based on my balcony; 2) My bedroom is located in the S3; 3) Bedroom entrance (NE), window (S), bedroom balcony door (SW) and the toilet with collapsible door (W-NW) Since my bedroom is small, previously, I placed the bed at the East wall which actually is not suitable since the entrance door will 'cut' the bed. Lately I relocated the bed to the West wall between the bedroom balcony door and the toilet door which make my bed is being supported by the toilet wall. I can't position it to the South since the window is there and I doubt I can position the bed to the N since the toilet will face the bed. What should I do? Is there any remedy if I were to stay at the west wall? Please help to put my mind at rest. By the way South is my auspicious location and no other place in my apartment can be used for alternative bedroom. Thank you so much for taking the time to look into it. brgds, Vince
  2. thank you very much for your prompt reply. I feel more confident now to use the balcony as my direction. If I can further intrude on you, if I were to change from period 7 to period 8, some sources mentioned to change a new door, roof/ceiling and floor/carpet. As such, do I change my entrance door to a brand new door or do I change the balcony sliding doors since my direction is based on the balcony's direction? Thanks in advance. brgds, Vincent
  3. Dear Cecil, I would like to thank you for providing such an informative website especially on finding the facing direction of my apartment. I hope you could assist in the following as well: 1) Since I am living on the 10th Floor of my apartment, do I use the balcony to measure the facing direction instead as according to some books? 3) How do I divide my apartment according to the grid of Lo Shu and Flying Stars? 4) Can you advise my current apartment layout as per attached? 5) I was told to use a Red Lava Lamp to overcome the 3 killings from the South in my bedroom. Is this true? I would like to apologise if I sounded vague but as a beginner I hope you can accommodate my shortcoming.
