  1. Dear Cecil, The New Year 2006 is in two days' time. I was told not to display the new 2006 calender on the desk, on the wall or in the home or office until 1 Jan 06. The new calender should be kept away from sight until 1 Jan. This will then bring good luck and overall good year for the individual. Not sure what is the logic behind or if this is just superstition. Maybe there is some truth. Any views? Thank you. Rich
  2. Dear Sir, I have a attached toilet/bathroom in my master bedroom. I found out that this toilet is in the relationship sector of the house. Since daily flushing of the toilet will certainly flush away any good relationship with spouse and family members, I am thinking of putting a pair of porcelain lovebirds or mandarin ducks to enhance the area. At least with the flushing, there is replenishment or continued preservation of the relationship through the mandarin ducks. I can close the toilet seat before flushing, but there is also the manhole in the shower/bath area. So may not be practical. Will this action help? If not, then I will not put the mandarin ducks and leave it as it is since there is no remedy. Thanking you ahead. Rich
  3. Dear Sir, I am living in a condo on the 11th floor. There are 4 blocks of apartments in this property development. The main entrance to the condo compound is facing East. After taking the compass reading, the main door of my apartment unit faces North. Should I say my house is sitting south and facing north (thus a North house) or should I follow the main entrance and say my house is sitting west and facing east (thus a East house)? Thanking you ahead. Rich
  4. Thank you sir for your enlightenment. Rdgs.Rich
  5. Dear Sir, I have a picture with red background and a Chinese word "Luck" written in gold color in the centre of the picture. I want to frame it up but not sure what color frame to use - black or yellow? Since the picture background is red (fire), it will melt the gold color (metal) which is the word. Fire kills metal. Should I use a black picture frame - which means water will extinguish the fire (red color), thus metal (the gold color word) will not be harmed. And the word "Luck" will be preserved. Or should I use a yellow frame? Fire (red) nurtures earth (yellow) which nourishes metal (gold). So instead of fire killing the metal, now I have fire nurturing earth (yellow) which nourishes metal (gold color). So should I use a black frame or yellow frame? Thank you. Rich
