  1. I have attached a file of my workspace. I work in a public library, where I sit in the open, so I do have a desk but there is no privacy and not many walls around by the desk. In the picture, the red are the shelves, they are all low except for the SW and NE walls. Dotted purple lines is the flow of traffic, and my chair is blue with the computer on the desk where it is positioned currently. People go upstairs and come downstairs in back of me about 10 ft away, and around the corner where there is a window against the wall that I can see if I turn around. I know I should get a mirror to see people coming behind me. Please advise on other tips that would make for a better workspace. Thank you. - Moon
  2. I am moving into an apartment with a friend. Our bedroom doors directly face each other, and already am afraid conflicts may arise between us (regardless of layout). I have read there a placement of a windchime in-between is a solution to this, but does not seem practical, since we do not want to hear the noise from it. Are there any other solutions to this problem? Thank you.
