  1. Hello, I am wondering what to do with a closet in the bedroom that has no door. Are beaded curtains okay or should we hang a door in the frame. The closet iswest of the bed which is south facing (we are Kua 4}. If beads are okay is there a favorable color. Thank you!
  2. Warmest regards Mater Lee and many thanks for your previous advise. Today I am struggling with the placement of the Dining Room. Both my husband and myself are SouthEast facing and if I follow the eight houses theory I would be best to place the Dining Room in East/Longevity or South/Health position. My confusion is that the front door would occupy SE and it is not good to put the dining table in a position beside the door. All the houses we have been viewing have a floorplan which places the dining room on one side of the door opening onto the foyer with the office on the opposite side of the foyer with doors to close it off. Directly along the hall from the front door is the living room. The kitchen is then on the same side of the house as the dining room in the West/Irritation position with a pantry separating the two rooms. The master bedroom is on the side of the house that has the office and lies in the North/Prosperity position. Which places the office in the East/Longevity position. To further confuse things the staircase is in the middle of the house and is curved. How will this affect us? What problem will the dining room next to the front door cause? What problem is the staircase in the middle of the house? Some builders offer a split staircase that goes up from the front foyer to a landing that then goes down to the living room or continues up to the second floor - sort of an upside down Y. It does create a nice curve in the foyer to place a round table. I hope I have been clear - my frustration is seeping through. Thank you so much for your expertise. Regards, Tammy Hall
  3. We are in the Southern United States and beginning to look for a suitable house. Both my husband and I are SE for auspicious front door. The property we like has a manmade lake with all houses having the back of the house facing the lake and the front door facing the road that passes in front of the house. We would like to know if this is okay or whether we should be looking for a lot with trees along the back of the house. We also intend to put in a swimming pool and it would also be in the back of the house between the house and the lake. Does this create a problem? There are tall pine trees on all the lots, including along the lakeshore. One last question - if the front door faces SE, the lake and pool would occupy SW, W and NW aspects. It is a large lake but you can see the other side and the trees and houses along its shore. Thank you for helping figure this out!!! Regards, Tammy
