Our one-storey bungalow is 10.8m wide and 10m front to back. The front door faces West. Our kitchen is in the NE corner. We are planning an extension, nearly 13m long down the garden, from the kitchen, which will make the house L-shaped. The extension will start smaller, come out and then go in again - with sizes across the width of the existing house of: 2.9m (utility/laundry area), 4.2m (Garden Room for art, yoga etc, containing a 1.8m x 1.5m shower/loo room, accessible from the utility room), 3.3m (office or bedroom). The front of the utility and garden rooms will be glass, plus the sides of the garden room that stick out. The doors between rooms plus doors at the end of the extension will be in line and glass. The roof will be made of tin. My questions are: 1) Will the extension extend our Knowledge/Education area or will we be creating missing Money/Wealth, Family/Health areas and if so, what could we do to remedy this? 2) Are there any particular flooring or building materials we should use? 3)Are there any colours we should use in our new rooms? 4) Could we have a fish tank somewhere in the new building?
