  1. Dear Master Cecil,
  2. Dear Master Cecil,
  3. Dear Master Cecil, I am trying to post the photo again. The pond shown in the photo is rain water retention pond which temporally hold rain water before it goes to the sream that runs through the wood area behind the pond. The water is nearly all year around in the pond (typically hold water of about few meters. Thanks in advance for advising us if the pond would pose any harm to the recsidents in the house. Mike PS: the front yard (SW) of the house is few meter lower than the back yard (NE); and the east side of the house is only a half meter higher than the west of the house inside the property. Further west of the property, which belongs to community, the elevation starts to drop about 2 meters from the property line to the pond boundary.
  4. Appended by Cecil: I only see "X" marks the spot.... I am attaching the picture here. Thanks. Mike.
  5. I am using Apple Safari. I don't see the browser button anywhere in the message board.
  6. Thanks you, Master Cecil.
  7. We are about to buy a new home. The house is facing SW. The backyard is slopping up away from the house. In front of the house on the SW side, there is a 1-acre storm detention pond. Does the storm detention pond pose any harm to the residents of the house? Thanks.
