Thanx Lee for your input, I have attached a custom made picture to understand the layout of the house. Please tell me if facing south while cooking is inviting trouble and what measures can be taken to avoid it.

My kitchen is in center of the house (NorthWest) and while cooking we have to face south, I have heard that facing south while cooking causes health related issues and is not good direction. We have been having major health problems already. What can be done to overcome this? My house door is north facing.
