Hello Cecil / Feng Shui Masters, I have 2 doors in my room that face each other. That's 2 doors in one room that face each other. Or 2 doors, belonging to the same one room, facing each other. Here are the details: I have 2 wooden brown doors of same size (32 inches by 7 feet) that are exactly facing each other! One door (main, front) opens inward from hallway, other door (back) opens outward to veranda. There is a water drain on one of the corner of the veranda. Veranda gets wet when raining; Sunrise is viewable from veranda. Rounded door knob for main door, key required to open/lock the other door. Btw, my room is also my home office. I spent most of the time sitting behind desk/laptop. Please see my sketch below: More About the Room: Room is of good size ~ 16 ft long x 12.5 ft wide x 8.5 ft high. Room is good for 2 occupants. I kept it clean, always. Well ventilated - I have 2 stand fans. Non-air conditioned. Tropical humid environment. Concrete walls coated with cream paint. Three (3) large Venetian-like windows on East - Southeast side. Vinyl tiles of creamy color laid out on floor. Plywood ceiling coated with plain white paint. Three (3) beam-type lamps installed on ceiling- one is above my head when I am lying in bed. Built-in wooden brown headboard good for king side bed. Built-in 2 side-by-side wardrobes with large solid wooden doors coated with light gray paint. The room is located on the 3rd floor - the top floor. Room is located in a building which is a Residence Hall type or dormitory-type. On our floor, 3rd floor of the building, there's male wing and female wing. On our Male wing, there are 10 rooms side-by-side. Five rooms not directly opposite each other separated by 6 feet wide hallway. The building is located inside a University Campus. There is no door from other room that directly faces my door. About the surrounding: When you exit the room to enter Veranda, you'll see a good view of tall vegetation. A small well vegetated hill on eastern horizon is also a good view from my veranda. About 30 to 40 feet from my room is an inclined road - downhill from SW to NE. Asphalt road, quite busy especially in the morning and late afternoon. My room is actually on the front side of the building so I could see people and vehicles coming in The building is actually surrounded by lush green vegetation. and out from my veranda. My room is almost directly aligned with building entrance doors (which are on the 1st floor). My experience with this Room: I move into this room almost a year ago. I enjoy sleeping in this room. But I am having difficulty finding constant income. I have difficulty retaining my finances. My relationships are not at par.. I am suspecting that it has something to do with the placement of room doors. Two doors in one room facing each other! It's like chi enters... and immediately exits without circulating the room? The back door is actually on the East corner of my room. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Kua No. = 2, I belong to West Group, I'm a male. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having a Kua No. of 2, that door seems to be not favorable for me. The front door is on the Northeast corner of the room. With my Kua No. of 2, that corner (NE) is my success corner. So it's good? Could you please help suggest a cure for my room? 1. What do I do for the 2 doors facing each other? 2. Would placing 2 red dots on door knobs enough? 3. Would you recommend placing curtain between the doors? 3. Should I remove the 3 tables between the two doors? 4. Is the placement of my work desk appropriate in feng shui terms? Thank you all in advance.
