  1. Hello Mr. Lee,? Could you advice if a paralell roof top from a neighbor's house facing our door considered sha chi?? Neighbor's side is slightly lower and their house is not tall.? Therefore even in reality the parallel roof is above our heads, but visually it is in front of our visual line.? If it is sha chi, what would you recommend to neutralize it.? Thank you.
  2. Hello Mr Lee, I wonder how does the shape of property contributes to feng shui. This house is located in a very long and narrow triangular lot. The house is pretty new and is the grandest in the area. Although the lot is narrow, it is big enough for such a big house and a big garage with plenty of room left. However it seems to me that there is a never ending landscaping projects going on the outside for the past 6 years or more when I noticed. Owners are not in landscaping business, they make their money in petroleum. These are big projects that involves big piles of sand, bricks and workers. Wonder if the odd shape of the lot contributes to it or it is just the owners always want to do something. Just curious and thought I share here. Thank you.
  3. Hello Mr.Lee, Wonder if a house can create mental blockage to the owners. I went house hunting with a friend who was looking for a house. This is a high end house with over 2000 sq ft and a high price tag. There are 3 trees (not bushes and trees are taller than a person) planted and arranged in a cluster in front of the house about 20 feet. Inside the front entrance there is a wall in about 10 feet away. The wall is created because there is the stairs going parallel to the front door. I felt that when I walked it, I was blocked by the wall. When I walked out, I was blocked by the trees. For a 2000 sq ft house, I would hope to have a more spacious foyer. On the outside, there is a dam and a walking trail farther away from the front. When facing the house, to the right is a house of similar size. To the left is a house stood taller. I would think it might be better the other way around. In additional, my friend and her husband belong to west house and the front entrance is facing east. Since I am no expert in feng shui, I share here hoping to some insight from you, Mr.Lee. Thank you.
  4. Dear Mr. Lee, Thank you for suggesting the use of fire (as in lights) to neutralize the potential of further arguments and lawsuits with my nasty neighbors. You have also suggested to locate the flying star #3 on 20 years and yearly. I have rechecked my flying star report for the house, which is a NE and 8 period house. 20 years #3 is located on the South and yearly #3 is located in the Center. South is 3-7 combination and Center is 8-3. I have been using red color decorations on those 2 areas since the beginning of this year.I am thinking maybe I can use red lights instead. South is also right beside the back door. The back door is in a small back porch which is like a very small addition. So not sure if this small porch as be included as part of the South section. If so, maybe I canturn on the porch light more often and paint it red too. Or I can also put some solar garden lights outside the house along the South wall. Do you think that would work? I also have a question that is off subject, if I may. I have mountain 3 and water 9 on the East section. Right now I have a water fountain to activate water. Also use metal and fire as suggested on the report. Is the water feature there appropriate? Reason I am thinking is that water might weaken the fire and metal. 20 years and yearly there is 6 and 1. Thank you very much.
  5. Thank you very much, Mr. Lee. I am going to read through what you suggest in details. I apologize if I sound too mean by suggestion a cannon as cure. Our neighbors are not nice, still I don't want them dead)
  6. Hello Mr Lee, This is about a nasty neighbor we have. They have taken 14 inches of our property deliberately while we were away and do not want to give it back. I think they are daring us to spend the money, hire a lawyer and do a survey. If we don't do that, they could have our land for themselves. Right now we are dealing with it on the legal end. Wonder if you have some strong feng shui antidotes for the situation? I feel like firing them with a cannon. Thank you.
  7. Dear Mr Lee, Is there a rule as to how many convex mirrors can one place outside of his/house for the purpose of absorbing sha chi? Or one is generally sufficient to do so? Thank you.
  8. Dear Mr. Lee, In the flying star report, it is stated as follows: Mountain Star is found in the front of the house, while Water Star is found at the back of the house. This is deemed inauspicious unless there is water at the back and mountain in front to reinforce this formation. Can I create mountain in the front and water at the back myself? What would you recommend to rectify the situation. Thank you in advance.
  9. Appreciated very much on your reply, Mr.Lee. Very clear.
  10. Hello Mr. Lee, I have read some of the posts regarding the use of bagua mirrors, some are flat, some are concave and some are convex. I am not sure if I understand correctly about how to use them and what type to use? Specifically, I am thinking maybe putting the mirror in 2 situations: One is outside the front door, where there is one tall palm tree slicing the front door from 40 feet away. Another situation is outside my bedroom where a electric post is slicing the window facing the bed. The post is about 10 feet away. Are those suitable situations on using the bagua mirrors? If so, what type is suitable. If not, what other alternatives is necessary? Thank you very much in advance.
  11. Hello Mr Lee, Fixing houses is my business so it does not seem practical for me to wait for next year to finish the work of a house in order to avoid offending Grand Duke. I wonder what I can do to avoid offending Grand Duke, while at the same time can finish the renovation. I have searched your website but have not succeeded in finding such information. Thank you in Advance for your advice.
  12. Hello, I have a black colour roof. Black colour roof is bad feng shui, isn't it? Pls advise as to what is the best way to rectify the situation. Should I change the colour of the roof to red and paint the exterior of the wall white? Or should I paint the exterior wall of the house white? This is a west facing house. Fire happened to be one of my favourable colours as well as my spouse's. I am a strong wood and he is a weak earth. Thank you. Pauline
