  1. We bought a new house, I am planning on renovate a small bath room on the main floor before we move in. It is in the center of the main floor. This year the annual flying star 5 yellow is in the center. I understand we should not disturb it. We are also going to re surface the entire hard wood floor ( sand and stain) on the main floor. If we do these work before moving in, would that make peace with 5 yellow? In addition, resurfacing the hard wood floor (sand and stain) on the main floor, and installing hard wood floor on the 2nd floor, would that consider "major" renovation, so period would fly to next period? BTW, the roof was replaced in period 8 already? Thanks! Wei
  2. Dear Master, we are about to move into a single family house in US, it was built in 1993, period 7 house. During period 8, the roof was replaced. We are also going to resurface the floor, and renovate the kitchen. I assume, by doing those, we fly the house to period 8 house. However, when I check the natal chart for this house as period 8 house, it shows the kitchen has 2/5, and it is located in north west, stove is currently in the center of the kitchen. The kitchen is probably the most active room in the house. With 2/5 combination, I am really concerned. Would you please let me know if there is any cure in this section? Your guidance is greatly appreciated. thanks, Wei
  3. Thank you very much foryour answer, I would like to make couple clarifications. 1. The house facing is very bad for my husband, since he is a west group. East is the worst direction for him. Should I be concerned? 2. I understand that kitchen should not be in the NW section of the house, that is why I am thinking of renovate the kitchen. After renovation, the stove will facing east, which still is a bad direction for both of us. Which one is worse? Stove in NW section, or stove facing bad direction? 3. The tree is very health fruit tree, however, it blocks light from east, make the entry dark. Since east is not a good direction, shall I leave it? The door is east facing, can I install a water feature outside of the front door? Thank you again for your guidance. Wei
  4. Dear master, We found this house, it is E1 facing. My husband and are both west group. our best directions are NE/SW, I make more money than he is. I have several concerns for this house: 1. The facing is not ideal, 2. the kitchen is in the NW corner, see attached floor plan. I plan to renovate the kitchen, but not immidiately. what shall I do during the interim period? once I move the stove and micorwave over to another corner, will that solve the problem? 3. most likely, we will use gararge door more offten than main door for every day use. from gararge, we will walk into a mud room (W/D room), and then kitchen. Doors are fcing each other. does that create a problem? please refer to the floor plan 4. there is a big, healthy tree right in front of the house, block a lot of eat light. We like to house other wise, but it is a big purchase, and we will live there for long time. I want to make a right decision. Thank you very much for your guidance!
