Hello Master Cecil Lee and Master Robert Lee. Please assist me to determine if my family home is suffering from bad Feng Shui. Firstly, there is a street storm water inlet drain sitting right in front of the front doors of my home. We can't see the opening of the drain from our front doors, as it faces the side garden of the house opposite. There is no other drains on this street. My house faces West and it is the first house in a culdesac street where there are 9 houses in total. There is a slight slope on this culdesac street where my house is lower than the houses further in on this street. Many friends have told us that the front drain represents bad feng shui. I am very concerned. Secondly, the door of the main bedroom in the house faces the door of the study room/home office. Thirdly, the only position we can have our bed in the main bedroom happens to be against the wall with a window, so our bed is directly below a window. Fourthly, our front doors face the back door, which we do not open often. We do not enter through the front doors normally, as the garage has an entry door into the house, so we enter through this door 99% of the time. Fifthly, the sink in the kitchen is opposite to the built-in oven and microwave. (The hotplate/stove is on a different kitchen bench). Finally, we were advised by a feng shui professional years ago to buy a house with front doors facing East or North, and avoid one facing West for financial stability. He advised my husband and I this based on our time, date, and year of birth. However, after months of searching for a suitable house, my husband fell in love with this house, which has all the above issues that concern me, plus it is facing west! I have suggested to sell the house several times but my husband would not agree. Please advise if I should be concerned with any of the issues I have mentioned above. If any is a concern, please kindly suggest a possible solution. Thanking you with all my heart. Best wishes, Serena
