Does Kua 9 make extra conflict/challenges for Weak Metal? A dilemma
Robert Lee replied to TD972's topic in General Help
1. This section explains whether you are a strong or weak person based on the balance of elements in your composition. 1.1. If the total favorable elements—Metal, Earth, and Water—that strengthen you are greater than the total unfavorable elements—Fire, Wood, and Water—that weaken you, then you are a Strong Metal person. 1.2. If the total favorable elements—Metal, Earth, and Water—are less than the total unfavorable elements—Fire, Wood, and Water—then you are a Weak Metal person. 2. Every element interacts with others by exhausting, producing, or destroying them. For example, Water exhausts Metal, produces Wood, and destroys Fire. 2.1. As a Metal element person, the elements that strengthen you are as follows: Metal naturally reinforces Metal, Earth produces Metal, and Water weakens Fire, which is one of the elements that makes you weaker. 2.2. As a Metal element person, the elements that weaken you are as follows: Fire destroys Metal, which diminishes your strength; Wood destroys Earth, which weakens Metal indirectly; and Water both exhausts Metal and produces Wood, further reducing your strength. 2.3. Water appears on both sides of the equation because it plays a dual role. On one hand, it exhausts Metal and strengthens Wood, both of which weaken you. On the other hand, Water destroys Fire, which is one of the elements that make you weak. As a result, Water effectively cancels itself out in the overall equation. 3. Once we determine whether you are a Weak Metal or a Strong Metal, your favorable elements will be identified. 3.1. If you are a Weak Metal, your favorable elements will be Metal and Earth, while your unfavorable elements will be Water, Wood, and Fire. Among these, Wood will be your unfavorable wealth element because your Weak Metal is not strong enough to control Wood by destroying it. 3.2. If you are a Strong Metal, your favorable elements will be Water, Wood, and Fire, while your unfavorable elements will be Metal and Earth. In this case, Wood will be your favorable wealth element because your Strong Metal has the strength to destroy and control Wood. 4. You can check your free Ba Zi report, which already includes this information. However, the free report does not provide the exact percentage breakdown of the Five Elements, which could help you better fine-tune your favorable elements based on the elements you are lacking. URL: https://freebazi.geomancy.net 5. Otherwise, all other information provided in the free report is 100% accurate and identical to what is included in the paid report. We avoid including the exact percentage because most people would simply copy our report and use the information to seek our advice for their own personal benefit. The purpose of these five element percentages is to fine-tune the favorable elements. In other words, if you identify which element you lack the most, you can focus more effectively on enhancing that specific one. However, even without this level of detail, knowing, for example, that you are a weak Metal and that your favorable elements are Earth and Metal already provides benefits as long as you incorporate Earth and Metal into your life. 5. Gua (Kua) and Ba Zi are two distinct theories and concepts. 5.1. Ba Zi represents a chart of your heavenly luck based on your date and time of birth. It provides insight into the luck you are destined to have, your elemental composition, and which elements are favorable or unfavorable for you. This information can help you determine suitable colors, shapes, careers, directions, homes, and even the types of people you should have around you. 5.2. Gua (Kua), on the other hand, is part of the Earth Luck Compass School. It focuses on your four favorable and four unfavorable directions, helping you understand how these relate to Earth Luck and Flying Star concepts based on your year of birth. Although this concept is relatively simple, the critical aspect is identifying your most favorable directions and, more importantly, your most unfavorable ones (especially the Death and Disaster sectors). From experience, staying in a house that is unsuitable for you can prevent you from fully benefitting from its luck, simply because it does not align with your energy. 6. Both concepts serve specific purposes and should be applied as needed. With the many Feng Shui theories and practices available, it is essential to prioritize and know which concepts to use in each situation. 7. For example, when you mention having a bedroom in the South, you are likely referring to the South direction being associated with the Fire element in the Bagua concept. This is a static concept that does not change, regardless of whether you are a weak or strong Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, or Earth element. However, the Bagua's directional element is often more applicable on a macro level—such as considering the South sector of your country or location—rather than on a micro level, such as an individual room. Because of this, the Bagua concept typically has lower priority when assessing how to position or decorate a bedroom on a micro level. 8. More important factors, like the Earth Luck Flying Stars in a particular sector, often take precedence. These stars can bring inauspicious effects, which need to be balanced or neutralized. For instance, you must address threatening stars like Illness or Misfortune stars before considering your personal favorable elements. Additionally, you need to ensure that decorating your bedroom using your favorable elements (e.g., certain colors) does not inadvertently activate these harmful Flying Stars. For example, using Earth element colors in your case as a weak Metal could activate Illness or Misfortune stars. Instead, it might be better to use Metal element colors in such a situation. 9. In summary, balancing your home or room requires considering numerous factors. You must prioritize your Ba Zi elements, the Eight House (4 Good and 4 Bad Directions) concept, the Flying Star sectors of the room, and even the shapes and arrangement of furniture within the space. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, and no one can provide you with simple advice without a thorough Feng Shui assessment of your home. 10. Based on the information provided, I believe you are a weak Metal element. However, without your date and time of birth to check your Ba Zi chart, this is my deduction of your true element based on all the information provided in your post. 11. In Ba Zi, a person’s wealth element is determined by the element that their self-element can destroy. Since your self-element is Metal, the element it destroys is Wood, making Wood your wealth element. 12. Because you are a weak Metal, your Metal is not strong enough to destroy and control Wood. This means that Wood becomes your unfavorable wealth element. If you were a strong Metal, Wood would become your favorable wealth element because a strong Metal is capable of destroying and controlling it. To enable a weak Metal to control its wealth element, you first need to strengthen your Metal element. This is achieved by increasing the presence of Earth and Metal, as Earth supports and enhances Metal. Once your Metal becomes strong enough, you’ll be able to manage and control your wealth element effectively. This is why individuals with a weak self-element face more challenges compared to those with a strong self-element—they must focus on strengthening their element before they can manage their wealth element. -
Frankly, without conducting a detailed and in-depth review of your Ba Zi, it’s impossible to determine for certain why you are experiencing struggles in your life. Likewise, it’s not possible to advise you on which elements you may need more or less of. 1. I am assuming your date of birth is March 14, 1981 (Female), between 3:00 a.m. and 4:59 a.m. Since you didn’t explicitly specify your gender, I’m going by the "female" indicator provided in the topic details. Based on this assumption, the following is roughly your Ba Zi chart, derived from our free Ba Zi reports:- URL: https://online.geomancy.net/public/code/html-fs-self-free.php?pay=0&tpl=chart_true_element&username=&gender=2&day=14&month=03&year=1981&hour=3 2. A quick glance at the chart suggests that your overall luck isn’t too bad. Out of the 12 periods of “Big Luck,” 9 are generally favorable to you. However, the percentages for most of these periods are on the lower side, ranging from 47% to 67%. Only four periods stand out at 83%, with two occurring in periods 2 and 3, and one in either period 11 or 12, which might be too late for you to fully enjoy or make the most of. While I haven’t looked at your chart in detail, I noticed that almost all your "Big Luck" periods feature at least one major clash or harm which affects the entire 10-yearly period. Looking at the yearly luck forecast, there are also numerous clashes and harms present. While these are common in challenging or difficult years, I’m seeing them even in some average or favorable years. This can reduce the overall positive impact of those periods, as clashes, harms, punishments, or self-punishments usually represent challenges or obstacles to overcome. This might help explain why, even during favorable "Big Luck" periods, you still face significant challenges. I believe this could be one of the key issues affecting your Ba Zi chart. 3. Of course, there could also be other factors at play, such as poor Feng Shui. Inauspicious Feng Shui in your home can negatively influence your luck and diminish any favorable periods. 4. A person’s overall luck is shaped by three types of luck: 4.1. Heaven Luck – The luck you are born with. 4.2. Earth Luck – The luck that comes from your home, office, and surrounding environment. 4.3. Human Luck – The luck shaped by your relationships and personal efforts. Each contributes about 33.3% to your overall luck. If two types, such as Heaven Luck and Earth Luck, are unfavorable, they can account for 66.6% of your luck being impacted. This is why even if your Heaven Luck is good, bad Earth Luck can drastically reduce your overall fortune. 5. From our experience, most people facing challenges tend to have a combination of issues with both Heaven Luck and Earth Luck. Together, these two factors already account for the majority of your life’s circumstances. 6. The only advice I can offer is that, from a Heaven Luck perspective, you should try to balance yourself by focusing on strengthening your favorable elements. The closer you bring each of your five elements to the ideal 20%, the better your auspicious periods will become, and the fewer challenges you’ll face during inauspicious periods. 7. Based on your free report, you should aim to enhance your favorable elements—Fire, Water, and Wood—while reducing the influence of Metal and Earth. For more information about the five elements and their characteristics, you can refer to this link. URL: https://talk.geomancy.net 8. Without a detailed analysis, it’s difficult to determine exactly which elements you need most, but generally, adding more Fire, Water, and Wood elements can be beneficial overall. 8.1. This involves paying attention to favorable elements when choosing colors for clothing, room decor, or personal objects. Incorporating Fire, Water, and Wood-colored items is generally helpful. However, I strongly recommend avoiding Fire element (red) colors in your bedroom decor, as they can potentially activate the inauspicious Illness or Misfortune stars. Without a thorough Feng Shui evaluation of your home, it’s hard to know which areas contain these stars. Using Fire element colors in these areas might trigger these negative influences, worsening the situation. Stick to safer options like Water and Wood colors for your room decor instead. 8.2. Next, consider whether your career and job scope align with your favorable elements. Since most people spend over eight hours at work, having a career that aligns with your strengths can significantly improve your success and well-being. 8.3. Finally, selecting a home that avoids unfavorable Death and Disaster directions and aligns with one of your favorable elements can further enhance your luck. Since you spend the majority of your time at home when not working, living in a suitable house can maximize your good fortune. However, a home is a significant financial investment, and it’s not always easy to make changes if you’re already settled. That said, if you plan to move in the future, choosing a residence that aligns with favorable Feng Shui principles can help boost your overall luck. 9. Additionally, Feng Shui plays a significant role in influencing your overall fortune. Your home accounts for about 33.3% of your overall luck. Combined with your Ba Zi (Heaven Luck), these two factors together make up 66.6% of your total luck, making it crucial to address both aspects. 10. All things considered, consulting a professional is likely the best solution to truly understand what factors are influencing your situation and how best to improve it. Without expert guidance, you may feel like you’re making changes in the dark, which can limit your progress or make it harder to achieve meaningful results.

Without a thorough and detailed review of the ba zi, it’s difficult to determine the effects of the clashes, harms, and other interactions. In any case, clashes and harms between the various pillars (Year, Month, Day, Hour, House of Life, House of Conception) will always occur, depending on the date and time of birth. Based on experience, these pillars often provide a general assessment, particularly in relation to either the stages of life (Childhood, Youth, Middle Age, Old Age) or relationship pillars (such as Children, Self & Spouse, Parents, Grandparents, etc.), or between your House of Life or House of Conception (representing conception or birth related issues). Often, these clashes indicate whether a specific stage of life or relationship pillar will be supportive or challenging. For example, the Month pillar is generally associated with the Youth stage of life or relationships with parents. In terms of health, how the five elements are balanced—such as if any element is at 0% or exceeds 50%—can point to potential health issues involving those related organs. The timing of such health issues depends on the 10-year, 5-year, or yearly luck flows and whether any health warning indicators appear during those periods. The luck flow also shows when there may be a higher likelihood of accidents. This is where the luck pillars interact with your ba zi pillars, and the clashes or harms during each time period come into play. For instance, as shown in a demo report, certain patterns can highlight these influences. URL: https://www.geomancy.net/demoreports/bazi_v16_demo/bazi_demo_bazi_expert_review.html HIGH Probability Major Issues with Accidents (1998-2007) Especially in [2005] [2006*] [2007**] Under the "B2. Possible Accident Issues" section as extracted above, there is a high probability of major accidents during the 10-year period from 1998 to 2007, particularly in the years 2005, 2006, and 2007. During these years, and especially closer to this timeframe, extra caution is advised. It’s important to understand that a person's luck is influenced by three forms of luck: 1) Heaven Luck – The luck you are born with and destined to have. 2) Earth Luck – The luck derived from your home, office, and surrounding environment. 3) Human Luck – The luck that comes from your relationships with others and your own effort. Each type of luck contributes 33.3% to your overall luck. For example, a combination of Heaven Luck (Ba Zi) and Earth Luck (Feng Shui) impacts 66.6% of your overall luck, while the remaining 33.3% depends on your Human Luck. Most major incidents tend to occur during very bad periods and are often a result of a combination of issues, such as challenges with Heaven Luck or unfavorable Feng Shui conditions (e.g., Illness or Misfortune Stars). This is when the likelihood of serious accidents increases. However, in most cases, minor accidents may happen from time to time if caution is not exercised, especially during higher-risk periods. The Ba Zi chart indicates the kind of luck you are supposed to have and has some predictive aspects. However, it’s important to avoid placing too much emphasis on fortune-telling, as this can lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy where belief makes it more likely to happen. While a Ba Zi chart shows the type of luck you’re supposed to have, whether events occur or not is still influenced by Earth and Human Luck factors. You can use Ba Zi as a guide to anticipate potential issues and take extra precautions to minimize risks or make the most of favorable periods. The rest ultimately depends on your actions and decisions. Regarding accuracy, I don’t see much difference between lunar and seasonal calculatitions in most cases. For example, in your daughter's case, under the lunar month of Geng-Wu, there is a Chou-Wu Harm and Wu Punishment present. This indicates conflict in the month pillar, regardless of whether you’re using the lunar or seasonal months. As these issues often relate to youth and parental relationships, it shows that this stage of life and the relationship with parents may have challenges. The overall outlook remains the same, regardless of the calendar system used. There will always be some degree of clashes, harms, punishments, or self-punishments present between your charts. The key is identifying when these dynamics are most likely to manifest, which is best determined by analyzing the flow of luck discussed earlier. This evaluation allows you to pinpoint periods when extra care and mindfulness are necessary. While clashes or harms are inevitable, not every instance will result in an issue. It’s only when these indicators align with other major signs of higher or medium probabilities that caution becomes more critical. These are the periods during which issues are most likely to occur—if they happen at all—and should, therefore, be monitored closely. As noted on our website, we include both Lunar and Seasonal months in our calculations. Our analyses take all necessary factors into account but are typically presented using the Lunar calendar for several reasons, which you can learn more about via this link: URL: https://bazifaq.geomancy.net After reviewing so many Ba Zi reports, I am still amazed by the accuracy of our ba zi reports. Often, when helping clients resolve issues, we find that the luck forecasts for major life events are remarkably precise, frequently aligning closely with the periods when these issues are likely to occur. I briefly reviewed your daughter's chart. While there are no significant health issues based on the five-element percentages, there are a few periods with high or medium probabilities of health concerns or accidents to be mindful of. Current & Upcoming Accidents Issues HIGH Probability Major Issues with Accidents (2016-2025) Especially in [2020*] [2019] [2021**] (2023) Most of the major ones from 2016 to 2025 are nearly finished, so there is not much to worry about at the moment. However, since 2025 isn’t over yet, it’s still good to exercise some caution. The rest are much further in the future (2046-2055) and some other medium probability ones, so there’s no need to worry about those at this time.

why strong water ?
Robert Lee replied to mpuss's topic in Ba Zi Feng Shui / 4 Pillars of Destiny / Life Reading
It seems there was a bug in the system. I believe it’s similar to an issue reported by another user recently, where the arrow sign for the percentage value didn’t match the element sign. I thought I had resolved it, but after reviewing the code again, I realized there were still a few functions where the fixes hadn’t been applied. This issue primarily affects a small number of Ba Zi Charts, especially in cases involving the extremely weakest element with more than five components. When there are more than five components of this extremely weak/weakest element, it can sometimes become stronger due to the high proportion of that element compared to the others. To account for this situation, a special weightage was applied, but it was slightly too strong, resulting in certain cases where the "greater than" or "less than" sign didn’t align with the actual element sign. I’ve now fixed the issue. The correct calculation displays the Total Favorable Elements as 62.1% and the Total Unfavorable Elements as 58.6%, which corresponds to the correct element sign: Strong Water. https://online.geomancy.net/public/code/html-fs-self-free.php?pay=0&tpl=chart_true_element&username=&gender=2&day=22&month=10&year=1983&hour=7 -
Without the full date of birth—including the day, month, and year—it is impossible to perform a complete Ba Zi (Four Pillars of Destiny) compatibility analysis. This includes detailed evaluations such as the five-element balance, Ba Zi chart compatibility, big luck compatibility, and ten deities characteristic compatibility. That said, while the exact date of birth might be unavailable, the year of birth is usually something you can probably determine. The only exception is if the person was born around the Chinese New Year. In such cases, if the specific day of birth is unknown, the birth year could fall either before or after the start of the Lunar New Year. Nevertheless, in most situations, the year of birth is sufficient to identify their Chinese Horoscope sign. Once the Chinese Horoscope sign is known, you can explore general at least the horoscope compatibility between you and your partner using resources like the "Fun with Chinese Horoscope" section on our website, LoveSigns.net. I'm sorry, but your information is incorrect. 1. The Yin and Yang aspects in the fundamental birth element do not affect your favorable or unfavorable elements. 1.1. Likewise, Yin does not mean weak, nor does Yang mean strong. Therefore, Yin and Yang do not determine whether you are a weak or strong element. 1.2. Primarily, Yin and Yang help identify whether you are in one of the four states: greater Yin, lesser Yin, greater Yang, or lesser Yang. 1.3. I personally find this information useful for understanding personal characteristics. For example, a Yin type person might be more introverted, while a Yang type person could be more extroverted. 1.4. If a chart has an imbalance of Yin or Yang, those characteristics might shift. Greater Yin and greater Yang often exhibit features of the opposite due to their cyclical nature. Yin charts generally prefer Yang charts for balance, and vice versa. In short, these are the basic Yin and Yang states, compared to a more detailed understanding based on the balance of the five elements. 2. Whether you are a weak or strong person depends on the five-element percentage in your chart. 2.1. A "weak" person is one where the elements that strengthen you are outnumbered by those that weaken you. For example, for a weak Metal, favorable elements are Earth and Metal, while unfavorable ones are Wood, Fire, and Water. The goal is to enhance the weak Metal with supportive elements. 2.2. A "strong" person is one where the elements that strengthen you outnumber those that weaken you. For instance, a strong Metal benefits from Wood, Fire, and Water, and is weakened by Earth and Metal. The aim is to control the strong Metal with balancing elements. 2.3. In your case, it is clear you are a strong Metal. The total favorable elements (Metal, Earth, Water) comprise 81.8%, which is greater than the unfavorable elements (Fire, Wood, Water) at 66.7%, effectively canceling out Water in the equation. Your True Birth Element Total Favourable Elements (that make you strong) Metal (15.2%) + Earth (18.2%) + Water (48.5%) 81.8% > Total Unfavourable Elements (that make you weak) Fire (6.1%) + Wood (12.1%) + Water (48.5%) 66.7% = Therefore, you are a Strong Metal 3. If you don't know the balance of the five-element percentages, the default list of favorable and unfavorable elements usually applies. 3.1. However, to accurately balance your five elements, look at each element’s percentage in the chart. Generally, elements over 20% should not be excessively increased, while those under 20% should be increased. 3.2. By analyzing your favorable elements, you can determine the most and least favorable, as well as the most and least unfavorable elements. This advanced approach helps balance your chart accurately according to specific needs. 3.3. This method can identify special chart types, like "follow the leaders," but those can be confusing as they are based on chart examples and do not address individual needs. Using the five-element balance method clarifies what elements to add or reduce first. 4. Since you are a strong Metal, your favorable elements are Fire, Wood, and Water, while Earth and Metal are unfavorable. 4.1. In your Ba Zi chart, Fire is at 6.1%, below the ideal 20%, so you need more Fire. The five-element percentage determines this need, not Yin and Yang, as previously mentioned. 4 Strong Water 4 Extremely Weak Wood 1 Weakest Fire 2 Weak Earth 1 Strongest Metal 48.5% 12.1% 6.1% 18.2% 15.2% As Strong Metal, your favourable elements are Water (48.5%) / Fire (6.1%) / Wood (12.1%). Fire (6.1%) is your most favourable element. Wood (12.1%) is your next favourable element. Water (48.5%) is your least favourable element. As you have a lot of Water, having more won't benefit you any more. 5. Since the Fire element is the most lacking compared to Wood and Water, it becomes your most favorable element. This is how you determine which element you want to have more and which to avoid having more. 6. If you are unsure of the specific five-element percentages, it's generally beneficial to add Wood, Fire, or Water, as these elements can help balance a Strong Metal presence. 7. However, if you know the exact percentages of the five elements, you can fine-tune your strategy. With this knowledge, you might prioritize adding Fire first, followed by Wood. Since your Water element is already at 48.5%, which is significantly higher than the desired 20%, adding more Water would be less effective than focusing on Fire and Wood. This understanding of element percentages enables you to optimize your approach and enhance your luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, 1. Honestly, I can't accurately assess your true ba zi element without examining your Ba Zi chart without the gender, date and time of birth info. 2. The reason assessments of your true element strength may vary is due to several factors: 2.1. The Ba Zi element is generally determined by the year pillar element, but it is more accurately identified by the day pillar element. 2.2. Some Ba Zi analyses only consider the four main pillars—day, month, year, and hour. However, they often overlook two additional hidden pillars (the House of Life and the House of Conception), which are equally important. Without considering these, it's difficult to calculate the correct number of elements present in the chart. 2.3. Often, practitioners do not accurately account for interactions between the pillars, such as clashes, harms, joins and combinations. Specifically, joins and combinations can sometimes transform an original element into a new one, altering the chart's elemental balance by removing the original element and introducing new ones. This can significantly affect the strength of the five elements in the chart. 2.4. Therefore, without a detailed and comprehensive assessment of the chart, it is common for practitioners to incorrectly determine the True Element. This discrepancy is why one practitioner might say your element is weak, while another might claim it is strong. 2.5. As a result of these inaccuracies, they may also miscalculate the five-element perentage, making it difficult to advise which elements you need more or less of to achieve a perfect balance, with each element ideally at 20%. For example, a Strong Metal can be strong because he have more Earth or more Metal or sometimes an equal amount of birth elements. Without the five-element percentage information, we can't advise you on which elements you need more or less of. For this analysis, you'll need the "Breakdown of the Five Elements Percentage" available in our Ba Zi expert review report, accessible through the link below. URL: https://www.geomancy.net/demoreports/bazi_v16_demo/bazi_demo_bazi_expert_review.html For example, here is a section extracted from the demo ba zi expert review report link: Your True Birth Element Total Favourable Elements (that make you strong) Fire (9.4%) + Wood (12.5%) + Earth (31.3%) 53.1% < Total Unfavourable Elements (that make you weak) Water (46.9%) + Metal (0.0%) + Earth (31.3%) 78.1% = Therefore, you are a Weak Fire Breakdown of the Five Elements Percentage 3 Strongest Water 1 Strong Wood 3 Extremely Weak Fire 5 Weakest Earth 0 Weak Metal 46.9% 12.5% 9.4% 31.3% 0.0% 3. To accurately determine your true element strength, you really need to consult the complete Ba Zi chart, like the one provided in our Ba Zi reference report under "Ba Zi Reference Technical Charts & Details." Without this information, it is impossible to accurately evaluate your elemental strengths. URL: https://www.geomancy.net/demoreports/bazi_v16_demo/bazi_demo_bazi_full_reference.html 4. In the meantime, you can use our free Ba Zi report available through the link below to help determine whether you are a weak or strong metal:- URL: https://freebazi.geomancy.net/ 5. Since our free report is not restricted in any way, the results will be identical to those in our comprehensive Ba Zi review. However, while the free report won't provide a detailed breakdown, it will indicate whether you are a weak or strong metal. Our comprehensive Ba Zi review will include all the detailed information and analysis. URL: https://www.geomancy.net/forums/store/product/21-personalized-ba-zi-life-reading-premium-with-monthlydaily-forecast-and-expert-review/ 6. Now to answer your this question:- 6.1. As mentioned earlier, we need the full report first to determine whether you have a weak or strong metal classification. 6.2. If it is confirmed that you are a Strong Metal, your favorable elements will generally be Water, Wood, and Fire by default. Water helps reduce the excess of Strong Metal. Wood weakens the excess Earth that strengthens your Metal. Fire reduces the strength of your Metal. 6.3. These are the default favorable elements. However, the specific element you need more or less of will depend on their percentages. For instance, if Water is at 0%, you will need more Water. If the Water percentage is 40% (>20%), you will need less Water. Therefore, the "Breakdown of Five Elements Percentage" chart mentioned in section 2.5 is crucial for helping you determine the balance of elements you require. This underscores why the need for more Water, Wood, or Fire is entirely dependent on the actual percentages of these elements. Without this information, it is difficult to determine whether you need more or less of a particular element. 6.4. Similarly, if it is confirmed that you are a Strong Metal type, your unfavorable elements will generally be Earth and Metal by default. Earth produces Metal, making Metal stronger. Metal enhances existing Metal, further strengthening it. 6.5. These are the default unfavorable elements. However, if the Metal element constitutes 40% (>20%) of your five-element composition, you should reduce Metal. Conversely, if the Metal element is at 0%, you may need some Metal, even though it is typically unfavorable. This should only occur when there is already a sufficient presence of Water, Wood, and Metal to balance your five-element percentage. However, you must not add Fire without first introducing sufficient favorable elements, as it could make your Strong Metal too powerful. 7. Consequently, without a comprehensive Ba Zi chart, it is not possible to explain whether you are weak or strong, or to determine which favorable or unfavorable elements you need in greater or lesser amounts. Ultimately, the objective is to achieve a perfectly balanced five-element chart to enhance and optimize your overall luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Self element weak or strong?
Robert Lee replied to bennio's topic in Ba Zi Feng Shui / 4 Pillars of Destiny / Life Reading
1. That's the problem with many basic Ba Zi reports and novice practitioners often overlook the intricate interactions within a Ba Zi chart, particularly the combinations and clashes that occur. Additionally, many Ba Zi reports do not account for the hidden House of Life and House of Conception—two important pillars in the Ba Zi system. Properly assessing these interactions is crucial for an accurate understanding of the five-element balance and the true nature of one's chart. Therefore, they are often unable to determine the True Birth Element correctly. 2. In your specific Ba Zi scenario, the combination of the Heavenly Stem Year Pillar Wu (Earth) and the House of Conception Gui (Water) creating the new element which is Fire. This transformation results in an increase of two Fire elements and a decrease of one Earth element and one Water element. Which you can see below under the red [1] text in the image. 3. Before determining whether you are weak or strong, you need to compare the total favorable elements that strengthen you to the unfavorable elements that weaken you. 3.1. Since your day pillar is the Wood element, the favorable elements that strengthen you are Wood (which strengthens Wood), Water (which produces Wood), and Fire (which destroys Metal, an element that weakens you, thereby making you stronger). According to the free report, the total favorable elements that strengthen you amount to 30.2%. 3.2. The unfavorable elements that weaken you are Metal (which destroys Wood), Earth (which strengthens Metal, thereby weakening you), and Fire (which exhausts Wood, further weakening you). According to the free report, the total unfavorable elements that weaken you amount to 83.7%. 3.3. The Fire element ultimately cancels itself out because it both weakens you (by exhausting your Wood) and strengthens you (by weakening the Metal that destroys you). However, it still needs to be considered to maintain balance in the equation. 3.4. Hence, you are determined to be a weak Wood. 4. Once it is confirmed that you are a weak Wood, we can identify that your favorable elements are Water and Wood, while your unfavorable elements are Earth, Metal, and Fire. 5. As mentioned, our free Ba Zi report is not limited in any way. While it does not show the detailed tabulations of your chart, it provides the exact same results as you would find in a comprehensive Ba Zi review. The free report focuses on delivering the most useful information to you—that you are a weak Wood and that your favorable elements are Water and Wood. By enhancing these favorable elements, you can improve your luck. Warmest Regards Robert Lee -
Self element weak or strong?
Robert Lee replied to bennio's topic in Ba Zi Feng Shui / 4 Pillars of Destiny / Life Reading
1. Based on the profile (Male, October 24, 1998, at 22:09), I can confirm that you have a weak Wood element. For more information, you can refer to our free ba zi report in this link:- URL: https://online.geomancy.net/public/code/html-fs-self-free.php?pay=0&tpl=chart_true_element&username=&gender=1&day=24&month=10&year=1998&hour=12 2. From the "Your Ba Zi Element" section in the free report, it is clear that the total unfavourable elements (which make you weak) at 83.7% is overwhelmingly more than the total favourable elements (which make you strong). Hence, you are a weak Wood element. Your Birth Element Total Favourable Elements (that make you strong) Wood + Water + Fire 30.2% < Total Unfavourable Elements (that make you weak) Metal + Earth + Fire 83.7% = Therefore, you are a Weak Wood 3. When there is a deficiency in certain elements, your ten deities may lack specific characteristics especially in the ten deities. If any of the five element percentages are at 0% or exceed 50%, this often indicates potential health issues related to the corresponding organs. 4. The free ba zi report doesn’t provide the exact breakdown of the five element percentages, so I can't pinpoint which areas are truly lacking. However, it’s important not to assess the five elements solely based on the initial elements of the Ba Zi pillars. A comprehensive review is necessary, including whether the elements combine to form new elements and considering the two additional hidden pillars (House of Life and House of Conception) to determine the exact five element percentages. Our free Ba Zi report has already done the analysis for you, even though it doesn’t show all the details behind the final results. Rest assured, our report is comprehensive and accurate, and it confirms that you have a weak Wood element. 5. Even with a quick basic assessment of your initial Ba Zi chart from the free report, I can say that your five elements are likely to be extremely unbalanced, with significant discrepancies in percentages (e.g., 30.2% vs. 83.7%). This suggests that either the Metal or Fire elements are probably over 50%, indicating potential health issues related to either the Earth (stomach/intestines) or Fire (heart/brain) elements. 6. Beyond that, I won't be able to provide more information without conducting a more comprehensive Ba Zi review. Warmest Regards Robert Lee -

1. It is not possible to advise you on which year is auspicious without doing a full Ba Zi report for both you and your husband to check the luck forecast. 2. For now, I can only advise you that it is probably more practical to avoid the years that clash or harm your individual horoscopes, as these are the years that might cause conflicts between parents and children. 2.1. For a Horse horsocope, avoid Rat (Clash) and Ox (Harm) years. 2.2. For a Ram horoscope, avoid Ox (Clash) and Rat (Harm) years. 3. Generally, as long as it is not a Rat or Ox year, the rest of the years should be fine as they don't clash or harm. 4. To determine which years, besides Rat or Ox, are better, you will need to check the luck forecast, which requires an indepth ba zi review review to be able to tell you which years are better.

1. It is a fact that you do not have the ability to choose your colleagues or supervisors, particularly if you lack the authority to determine who works alongside you. However, understanding who aligns with your interests can guide you in identifying those with whom you should collaborate more closely and those you might want to steer clear of. This is especially pertinent if you find yourself in a leadership role, as you will likely prefer to work with individuals who can support you. Additionally, if you are considering launching a business, selecting the right partners and team members will be crucial for your success. 2. Generally, both Data Engineering and Business Process/Management are associated with the Wood element. However, considering your description of Data Engineering, which pertains to backend data management, it aligns more closely with IT, thus relating to the Water and Metal elements. In contrast, Business Process or Business Management is predominantly linked to the Wood element. As a Strong Metal individual, you would typically find Water, Wood, and Fire elements to be more beneficial. Nonetheless, the Data Engineering role does incorporate some Metal aspects, which may not be as advantageous. Therefore, I would say that Business Management job scope is the more favorable option due to its stronger Wood element. 3. The notion that luck improves when you reside and work in your country of birth may not hold true. The location you inhabit is influenced by directional elements; for instance, North corresponds to Water, South to Fire, East to Wood, and West to Metal. Consequently, according to ba zi principles, staying in a suitable house facing, or working in a direction that is most beneficial to your elemental profile and/or your eight house direction is likely to enhance your luck. Thus, ba zi can assist you in determining which country or region within a country may offer you greater fortune. 4. This is why understanding your ba zi heaven luck is essential for optimizing your fortune in relation to your surroundings. Each decision you make to harmonize your five elements can significantly enhance your overall luck.

1. I wanted to clarify that the brief assessment I provided in response to your post was based on the assumption that your time of birth is not known. If you are unaware of your exact time of birth, it is advisable to consider it as unknown, as this will offer a general overview of the day itself. As previously mentioned, in most instances, this will accurately reflect the day's characteristics. Only a few hours could potentially alter this, but otherwise, there would be no significant change. Since you are not certain, then that's fine. Otherwise, whatever advise I provided in the previous post would not be correct if your birth element changes. 2. From the free Ba Zi report link, you should already be aware of your favorable elements. It is essential to assess your surrounding circumstances and strive to incorporate as many favorable elements into your environment as possible. 2.1. The simplest method to implement this is through colors or shapes/patterns of objects. This includes favorable colors, room decor, or any personal items you possess. The more these elements align with your favorable attributes, the greater your luck will be as you wear those clothes or spend time in that space. It is easiest, but sometimes the impact may not be as great, but it still helps on a day to day basis. 2.2. Another important aspect is the favorable individuals in your life, such as family, friends, colleagues, and supervisors. The more people you have who resonate with your favorable elements or horoscope, the more beneficial it will be when collaborating with them. 2.3. Additionally, selecting a suitable job industry and role is crucial, as this will influence the level of luck you experience in your career. Generally, the better the fit, the more likely you are to succeed. 2.4. The most challenging aspect to modify is finding a suitable home, as purchasing a house is a significant investment, making changes difficult unless you decide to relocate in the future. This is something to keep in mind for later. In the meantime, you can explore house earth luck feng shui to enhance the balance of your home and maximize auspicious energies. But this is also where can have greatest impact. 2.5. The more you can incorporate your favorable elements, the better the outcome will be. Particularly if you understand the percentages of the five elements, you can adjust your environment to ensure you receive more of the elements you may be lacking. The closer your five elements are to the ideal 20%, the more favorable your situation will be. 3. According to your free Ba Zi report, as a Strong Metal individual, your favorable elements are typically Water, Fire, and Wood. 3.1. The IT industry, which is associated with Metal and Water elements, is somewhat suitable for you. While Water is beneficial, the Metal element is less favorable, making this career path not the most ideal, although it remains acceptable due to the presence of Water. 3.2. On the other hand, roles in Data Analysis and Data Reporting align more closely with the Wood element, which is generally advantageous. However, the free report does not provide specific insights into whether you require more Water, Fire, or Wood. Overall, while there are favorable Wood and Water components, the excess Metal element suggests that this job sector may not be the best fit for you. 4. When considering your birthplace in another country and your subsequent migration, it introduces some complexity in assessing compatibility between individuals. It is often advisable to focus on the country of birth for such evaluations. However, since you mentioned the absence of your birth time, this complicates matters further. In this situation, it is best to refrain from making any adjustments, as this could lead to additional complexities in the future. A one-time adjustment might be warranted if you have fully relocated to a new country and plan to remain there permanently. However, if there is a possibility of future migrations, it is advisable to stick with your original date and time of birth from your place of birth without alterations. So in your case, best not to worry about the location factor of birth. It is only going to complicate the review. 5. Providing accurate advice without a comprehensive understanding of your Ba Zi is extremely challenging. Numerous factors influence your luck, and it can vary significantly from year to year. Issues may arise due to unfavorable years, working with incompatible individuals, or even problems related to your home's Feng Shui. Therefore, it is difficult to offer specific guidance on how to enhance your luck without a deeper analysis of your Ba Zi. 6.
