Because of that, it would be impossible to properly show the proper representation of the month. As some days within thewestern monthmay fall in different lunar months as it will span between two different calendar which makes it confusing. PS: I have already revised a new yearly forecast layout topresent what I originally want to show in a clearer manner and it should solve the previous lunar/western month conflict.I now separate the year/month from the daily analysis. Thanks, Shaunna Generally, when it comes to the house, the best analysis is the Flying Star (Xuan Kong Feng Shui) chart. Determine your main door facing positions, and then you will be able to chart out a numerology chart that is based on the 9 numbers. Given it uses the 24 mountains, directions, it allows you to chart out many unique variations of luck for a house depending on what period the house is built. This also bases on the what is the facing or sitting position of the house. But to avoid confusion, as long as you know the facing compass degree of your house (ie 0 degree = North N2). You will be able to determine your flying star chart of the house which determines the earth luck of a house. Under the Eight House (ba zhai) concept. The method that is always used is determining the Gua of a person which tells you which are your 4 good and 4 bad directions. From that, it works out the 8 different types of chart and variations. This is a useful calculation as it helps a person determines whether a house is suitable or not. The Gua sitting / facing position will actually be the foundation that is used in conjuction with the working of the flying star. But it is not really used on it's own. So really, the flying star (xuan kong feng shui) is what you would normally use for the assessment of the house. Hope that helps. Dear Erwin, Frankly, I have no time to really go through the details you provided. However, I can quickly tell you that any chart that has too many clashes/harm tends to denote lots of quarrels or difference between the two person. So the 1st person even though the element is oppositee, can still be resolved by having a binding element to help improve the relationship. However, the 2nd person that has multiple clashes between the chart tends to more likely quarrel between or have major conflicts. Especially if there are major clashes or a total of 4 or more multiple clashes. However, ultimately in any relationship, the human luck factor is also as important. There are a lot of factors to consider before one can determine accurately as a weak or strong element. I presume this is for a female, right? Then your five element breakdown would be:- 3 Water Strong 31 % 1 Wood Extremely Weak 2 % 5 Fire Weakest 26 % 0 Earth Weak 0 % 3 Metal Strongest 39 % Though, it may seem that you are a strong fire just because there is 5 fire, but bear in mind that it is weakest fire. So 5 Fire only makes up 26%. As a weak fire, this means what is favourable for a weak fire are wood (2%) + fire (26%) = 28% favourable elements. What makes a weak fire weak would be water which destory fire, and metal that destroy wood. So your unfavourable elementare water (31%) + metal (39%) = 70% unfavorurable elements. Earth element can exhaust your fire and also destroy water your unfavourable element. So it is a double edged element. So it will cancel itself out in the end. Given there is 70% unfavourable vs 28% favourable element, that is why we consider your element asa weak fire and not a strong fire.This is after a careful determination of any combinations / clashes / seasonal strength etc, broken down in exact percentage value. Shaunna The yearly / monthly stars will only impact that year or that month. The more important thing is to fix up the 20-year stars which is the main influence thataffects sectors of that house. At most, some may make some yearly revisions just to fix up any annual stars. However, no one will really make changes on a monthly basis. I mean feng shui is all about creating harmony, once you have balanced everything (ie choosing the right colour scheme for the room, the right furniture placement, the rightcures to fix up the rooms etc). It should not be a hassle, such as to worry about the daily/monthly changes. Then every day/month you move things around just to get maximise the daily/monthly luck. This is really a waste of your time and energy. You see a person has 3 forms of luck:- Heaven Luck - is luck that you are born with. Earth Luck - is luck from your home and surrounding. Human Luck - is luck from your relationship with others and your own hard work. So really, once you have balanced up the house, then you just need to put in the human luck effort to get it to work. Dear Marie, Frankly, the daily flying star is found in the tung shu. So there is really no need to calculate it if any. Furthermore, daily flying star isn't really practical as no one in the right mind will want to make changes to your home every day. So just look up the tung shu will do. There really isn't a formula available.If you really want to have a formula, then you need to work out your own formula from a fix date sometime in the past. Anyway, the timezone only affect one which is the longitude which represents east/west. So it only factor in one factor of the long. and lat. of birth. That is why this is a very bad way to apply location factor into ba zi. And we do not apply long. and lat. of birth to ba zi for a simple fact not everyone record the long. and lat. of birth. So best to just use the local time of birthl. I am sure when you are born, the time recorded should be the timezone before any changes were made to the timezone. So just use that time of birth as your local time of birth. Don't make further changes to the time of birth. Hope that helps. Furthermore, GMT has been simplified so much that it now groups certain country into a single timezone. So again, it does not show the true location factor. 3. If you know how ba zi works, the hour pillar isn't really the most important pillar, as such even if you do not have the hour, the ba zi can still forecast a fairly accurate prediction. That is because the luck forecast depends more on the month pillar than the hour. 4. Ultimately, how a ba zi deduce what you lack is by working out what are the breakdown of elements affecting you. Ultimately, if you calculate them properly, you will be able to properly balance out what you lack. Thus our stand is simply just to use your local time of birth for any ba zi or feng shui reports on our website. We do not really apply any further time changes. These are flying star sectors which you need use to maximise the luck of the house. However, the more important aspect about TaiSui is avoid having major renovations in the North and if possible try to avoid facing him. So unless you have another position that does not face North and is suitable for you to use, then you can consider using the alternative direction. Otherwise, as long as you do not plan to have any major renovations, it won't affect you very much. I mean it is just not practical to avoid using that sector just because the TaiSui is there for that year. Especially, if there is no other sitting position for you to make use of. So where there is no other sitting position, sitting in your better direction facing the grand duke is even better than sitting in your bad direction away from grand duke. Anyway, since you repost a recent message to look into it. But there are 5 elements. So the Earth element would be missing if every 3 months is assigned to the Water/Wood/Metal/Fire. But where is the Earth? In fact, every 3rd month of all seasons will thus be theEarth element. This is due to the in-between seasons. So if you mentioned 3rd month of winter, then it is Earth element and not Water element. So the seasonal strength is based on Earth element season and not Water element season. Also, to deduce whether a person is weak or strong, just considering the season's and basic element representation isn't enough. You have to still consider the combinations and clashes that may alter the original element. And then after all those factor are considered. That is why for our report, we considered all these changes then we make out a mathematical formula that will convert it into percentage values. With percentage values of what is the exact element represented, it is very easy to determine if favourable elements vs unfavourable elements is greater. From there, you will know for sure if it is weak or strong. If you do not consider all these factors, it is very easy for you to deduce an inaccurate element strength. In the case of our reports, they are all extensively tested, as such if our free report shows asa Strong Fire, then she is a Strong Fire. If our report shows it as a weak Fire, then she is a weak Fire. The results won't differ from the paid report. Except that we do not show you the exact percentage breakdown which is only available in the paid report. Usually, once the five element percentage breakdown is determined, we will try to make sure every element is 20%. This means among the favourable element, which element is most lacking would be the most favourable followed by the other element. Then amongs the unfavourable element, the element that is too much must be avoided. While, if the unfavourable element has too little, some of that along with the favourable elements will actually be good. Hope that helps.
