Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I've been told I'm strong Yin Earth, but your report shows I'm weak. Can you explain how, showing the percentages? If the info below is correct, then your percentage is as shown:- Name: Kimmy (Female - 22 Nov 1963) D.O.B: Lunar (1963, 10th month, 7 day) at 3.00 a.m. to 4.59 a.m. Pillar Heavenly Stem (HS) Earthly Branch (EB) Hour Day Month Year Life Conception Element Strength Percentage 2 Water Strongest 25 % 6 Wood Strong 60 % 2 Fire Extremely Weak 5 % 2 Earth Weakest 10 % 0 Metal Weak 0 % You are a weak earth because your favourable elements making you strong is 15% (5 % fire + 10% earth). While your unfavourable elements making you weak is 85% (25% water+ 60% wood). Given the unfavourable elements making weak is so much greater, that is why you are a weak earth and not a strong earth. As a weak earth, fire and earth are you most favourable elements. Metal is favourable for you because you lack 0% but adding metal also weakens your earth. Thus, you only benefit from metal when you boost up your fire and earth. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Liz Mej, Liz Mej wrote: Ok, BIG problem. Everything about my room is wrong and I can't change a thing. My room is too small. The only place that my bed fits is right in front of the door (sideways)against a wall that has a window, the window is on the side of the beddirectly above the bed. I have a dresser with a mirror the only place I can put it is on the wall where the door is, which means it is facing the side of my bed just like the door is. If I move this mirror and put it beside my bed it will face the door to my 1/2 bathroom. One of my dressers is facing the th foot of my bed,the other is facingmy1/2 bathroom.Oh! and did I metion that my closet door is at the foot of my bed aswell. Please tell me what to do, what alternatives do I have. I'm new to Feng Shui and my life has not been the greatest since the day I was born. I'm tired of it and I want it to change. Please help me. I don't want riches, Ijust want tohave a descent life. I'm desperate. As you mentioned, you can't change anything, this means you cannot arrange the furniture. So it is going to be different to suggest anything that might help except maybe to choose the right colour scheme for curtains/bed sheets or even the colour of the bedroom. So check your ba zi element from this link:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Then pick colour schemes that will bring you luck. Only take note if your favourable colours is Fire (red) / Earth (yellow) as these may create problems for theillness/misfortune starsin the flying star chart of the house. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: could you please explain if the missing corners on the upper floor of a house are as detrimental as missing corners on the ground floor A missing corner is considered when more than 33% of the sector is missing when you view the house from the roof view. So normally if the missing corner is just on the top level, it is not really considered a missing corner as the bottom level still forms a complete square. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Due to seller's inability to handover the house earlier, I may have to takeover the house during the 7th Month in August. I am not extremely supertitious but most people have advised me to avoid such activities duringthe Ghost month. I like to have your advice should i have to takeover the house as the seller has indicated to move out during the 7th month. Yes, it is indeed not really auspicious to take over a house during the chinese 7th month. So if you can avoid it it would be better (ie collect the key after 11 Sep). However, if you really cannot wait until after the 7th month (ie 13 Aug-10 Sep), then at leasttry to choose an auspicious date to minimise any impact:- URL: http://date.geomancy.net In any case, you should avoid moving-in or starting your renovations works during the 7th month. Dear Alex, Alex Chua Kim Soon wrote: Master, Ive found a nice house for me and my wife. The thing is both of us is kua8. The house faces South West. But my master bedroom location is in south. My bed head also can only be placed on the direction of the south east (south east wall in the bedroom) becoz other sides all very inconvenient. What should i do? Alex Please help to advise Generally, the house is suitable to you facing to you. Though the room isn't the best sector. It isn't considered ultimately the most suitable house. However, it is still considered a suitable house. So even if the room is disaster, it won't be too bad as you still get luck from the house facing. Thus, the impact will be lesser. You can still try to fix up other areas of the house, or choose suitable colour scheme so that you can enhance can boost up the luck further. One or two problems does not mean the house is hopeless. It is hard to get a house that is perfect in everyway unless you build your own house. Even then, there will still be some areas that will still be imperfect. Hope that helps. Dear Constance, constance king wrote: hi cecil, i would like to know for wood element with door located at death sector what would be the best thing to do. ( no other door) beside front door. please help and thank you very much. constance Generally, you cannot correct or fix a suitability issue. That is why buying a house that is suitable is the only way you can avoid this problem. As for a wood element person, depending on which sector is your house there is still a house element. For example, North facing is water element. Then if you are a weak Wood, water element will be good. So even if the house id death sector, then it will help to offset some of the inauspicious aspect. The rest, you have to correct or fix other areas in the house. The more leaks you correct, the better the house luck and thus even if the house is not suitable, it will have lesser overall impact. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Peter, Peter Doo wrote: hi I want to build a gazebo in my garden, Peter Doo wrote: it has many styles from 4 column to 8 column, Peter Doo wrote: can I choose 5 column? because I heard number 5 is not good number? Generally, for fundamental of a strong house support, the pillars supporting it should be even number better than odd number. So 4 is standard (square) or 8 which is a bagua shaped will be much better. 5 is not so good because under feng shui five is Strong Earth often related to illness/misfortune. Hope that helps. Dear Rachel, Rachel Rachel wrote: I'm a weak metal person, would it be harmful for me to have an aquarium even though it is for fengshui purposes (i.e. water feature as recommended by Flying Stars chart)? My husband is weak wood, my daughters are strong metal and strong water respectively. Water in general is good for your weak husband. Given he is likely the breadwinner, it will be good for him. Generally, water will exhaust metal so will weaken your weak metal. While, mixed for your daughter as one like water one has too much. But in general, the breadwinner would probably be the most important. A water feature if outside of the house is ok, as it will be more a water feature to activate wealth. However, for within the house, you may want to minimise having to much water feature. A small aquarium is still acceptable if you really like to rear fish, but a big one should be avoided. DearToh Kim Hong, Toh kim hong wrote: hello, hi, need some advice fm u. i belong to east group, my wife, son belongs to west group. so which group should i followed. mine or my family .EAST OR WEST. This question has been asked many times. Basically, you should use the give and take method. For breadwinner (yourself), ensure that the house facing is suitable to you so that you enjoy luck from the house facing. For the rest of the family member, you should make sure the rooms are suitable for them to stay in. As they will be getting the luck more from the bedroom. For husband and wife that have opposite Gua (Kua), the breadwinner takes a house facing that is favourable but try to avoid having the wife as death or disaster. And given the breadwinner have a better house facing, then he can give the wife a more suitable room and take on a room that is less suitable. However, should try to avoid death or disaster if possible. If you follow this rules, it will be easy to make sure the house suits everybody. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What happens if we choose a period 7 house facing north but we are also going to undergo some major renovation? Will this house become a period 8 one? If so, will it be suitable for us then? If the renovations are major enough, the house luck is likely to change to a period 8. The house suitability will not change even if the luck period changes. It sounds like you are an East group person, so North or East will generally besuitable for you no matter if the house is period 7 or period 8. However, the luck of the house may change as a North Period 7 and North Period 8 house chart will have different luck. Also, depending on how is the layout of the house, a change to period 8 may or may not be beneficial. This portion depends a lot on how well the period 8 chart can benefit from the layout. Dear Asha Menon, asha menon wrote: Hello i shall be moving location to Delhi Noida, we have seen an appartment that faces SW. My Kua number is 7 is this a suitable falt front door opening direction for me please advise As long the house faces any of the 4 good directions in your eight house, the house is deemed suitable to you. So given gua 7 is West group facing, so SW facing house is good for you. If the house is built after 2004 (period 8 house), the SW facing will have very good feng shui luck compared to other facing direction, but several sectors will need to be balanced else health issues may arise. Dear Ann, ann j wrote: The mother of my friendsuffers from cancer.I had gone through the flying star chart of herhouse built in period 5 with NW1, .Is any star combination of star 9 with star 5 or star 2 in south area or any area suggestive of cancer, please clarify on this and any possible combination suggesting any major illness Though, the house was built in period 5, the house luck would have already slowly flown over to the at least period 7 or even may have flown to the period 8 house luck. But the combination of star 9, star 5 and star 2 is very bad for health related. Star 9 is weak fire, but star 2 strong earth (illness) and strat 5 strong earth (misfortune). This combination is extremely bad for health because weak fire enhances earth in star 2 and 5. If the sector has further fire (red) or earth (yellow) colours, it might worsen the sector. However, generally there maybe other problems together such as bad ba zi healthissue together that makes it worst. You see, often a problem does not just arise from one area. It is a series of problems together that makeitbad. So it take several bad things to be a major problem. So probably the house sector is one, but also the inherient ba zi health issues and probably a bad health period may also be another reason. Try to minimise any further fire or earth elements from making that sector worst. But ultimately, at this point seeking medical help would be the best thing to do for any health related issues. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi, my family and I will be moving into a new place soon and is planning to place an aquarium tank as a partition between the main door and the living area. The main door is facing eastwards. Pls advise whether this is fine. Thank you. In general, if you are placing a fish tank for activating auspicious luck, then you need to check whether the sector of the house based on the flying star chart contains the current auspicious water star. For example, if it is a period 8 house, and the sector whereyou place is East, check if the water star 8or water star 9 is present. If so, then it is considered an auspicious sector to have a fish tank. Please use the free flying star chart in our member area to check on this:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net Also, you should check if the breadwinner favours water element. If a weak fire or Strong Water person, then water may not favour them. Therefore, it may not be a good idea to have water features in the house. Again, you can make use of the free ba zi report to determine the breadwinner's ba zi element and favourable elements:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Otherwise, fish tank is usually best placed in living room/study room. But should never be placed in the bedroom. So we do not consider any of the personalised analysis, then it sounds ok to place where you. But better to check the above mentioned reports to confirm if it is indeed beneficial. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I just got my paid report and quite worried about my inauspicious luck starting from 40 - 70. Since you gotten our paid report, it is best you e-mail us at support@geomancy.net so that we can refer to your chart and advise according. Anonymous wrote: Question: Does the inauspicious luck implies that, we have better stayed in what we are doing - rather than, taking risk by starting something new? Generally, this depends on whether you are referring to the 10-yearly/5-yearly/yearly/6-monthly/monthly/daily luck. Even within each group, there is a sub-group of luck. For example, 10-yearly luck will tell only whether a person is a very fortunate person with luck always on his side or a very unfortunate person where you have to work hard for your own success. Even within an inauspicious 10-year luck, there will be some 5-year which is better, there will also be some year which is better than another year. So all depends on how your luck flow looks like. Even during inauspicious luck, there are some years better to career career some years to avoid changing careers. So as mentioned, better you e-mail us so that we can advise you better after reviewing your chart. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Can you tell us how to neutralize the Robbery and Misfortune stars in a bedroom? And how can we prevent activating the Double Robbery stars in a master bedroom? Robbery Star is usually Star 7 (weak Metal). To weaken, it normally you use either water to exhaust the metal, or Fire to destory the metal. Fire may activate the Misfortune Star which is usually Star 4 (strong earth). So usually, water element might be the better solution such as yin water. Colours for water are like light blue/light gray etc. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

What is the impact of living near a mosque on the feng shui of a house? Dear Fiona, Fiona K wrote: My house sitting SW & facing NE, but near to a MOSQUE (about 0.5km), is it bad feng shui or bad Chi for a house if near to Mosque? (Main door not facing the mosque). What are the ways to cures? 1. In general, most individuals prefer to steer clear of purchasing a property in close proximity to a Mosque or Temple due to potential noise disturbances and the presence of a large number of visitors. 2. Temples may engage in rituals that can result in uncleanliness as well. It is particularly undesirable if the Mosque is visible, especially if its roof obstructs the view from your home. In such cases, certain remedies may be necessary, ranging from the use of bagua to a simple day curtain to block the sight. 3. Even if the Mosque is not visible from your residence, it can still impact the future resale value of the property. Unfortunately, there may not be much that can be done in this regard. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Will be much appreciateof your advice where is the best position of placing the urn of my mother-in-lawin the temple.By placing at the eye level is auspicious or above the head level or at the bottom. As I know by placing thediety it should be above our head level and how about the urn and where is the best facing. Hope you would give us asap. Generally, the practical reason why you want to have the urn at the eye level is that it is much easier to see the photo and even place flowers. That is why the eye level position is the most sort after positions. Given this is not a placement of deity, there is really no specific requirements. Just that some people do not like to be too low. Generally, most prefer eye level or higher. Generally, you will know from the pricing as the more popular positions tend to be more costly. Probably, if any just choose the better positions within the temple. Maybe one that faces your mother-in-law's best position based on her date of birth. Maybe if your mother-in-law likes quiet and peaceful, then locate a more quiet location for her. If she likes company, then maybe find positions where popular people are placed etc. As for height, there is really no particular best height, most perfer eye to higher level so that they are not like too low. That is about all. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Toh Kim Hong, Toh kim hong wrote: hi, i like to know how to get my main door location? standing in front of the door or centre of living rm or the centre of whole house? Firstly, you should determine the type of home:- 1. Landed Property - You take the facing of the house based on the frontage of the building. 2. Apartments (2nd-7th Level) - You take the facing of the house from the main door facing. ie stand in at your main door looking outwards. 3. Apartment (8th level and up) - You take the living room/balcony facing direction. ie stand at your living room or balcony and look outwards. This will get your house facing for the flying star analysis. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Alice, alice q wrote: According to the Eight House report, my husband's excellent direction is East. We saw a terrace house that has a North East facing, which is irritation for him. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has window facing NE and the room door SW (which is disaster for him). Would this house be bad for us is we were to buy it? This isn't the most suitable house for him as he is an East group person. Usually for East group person, the South or East facing house will be more suitable. However, NE facing house especially for Period 8 (2004-2023) has good Feng Shui luck but needs to have certain sector neutralised to prevent illness/sickness. Given that the house suitability is not Death or Disaster, this isn't as bad. Anyway, there are usually more factors to consider such as whether the layout is can benefit from the NE Period 8 Qi etc. So can't tell you exactly if it is a good buy. However, if just based on NE and irritation house especially to convert the house to Period 8, it still maybe possible to be considered a Can buy, but may not the most suitable. alice q wrote: The house was built about 18 years ago and they do not have a floor plan.
