Dear Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: This morning one off the 'red parrot fish' died. It's been with us for almost three years or so.As someone told us that is the sign ofbad omen had befalled to the fish. Is it true. I mean whether it is good or bad, I think you will have to see what is the reason behind the death of the fish. ie. If the fish die due to natural death, then I don't think there is anything bad about it. I mean every living creature on this earth will have to die once his or her time is up. So this is natural. ie. If the fish die due to illness, then you should also investigate maybe the cleaniness of the fish tank or clean up the water in the tank. Because if the fish die due to like the tank not clean properly than likelyhood of infection is always high.If so, than again shouldn't have anything to worry. Otherwise, if the fish just die suddenly (ie not due to natural deathor due to any logical reasonsetc). Then yes, it may not be a good sign. But still, I won't be too worried. Unless you tell me that all the fishes just died overnight. Or that fishes keep dying even if you replace them. That would be a really a bad sign. If it is only one fish out of many you have reared than I really do not think it is a big deal to worry about. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I would love some good feng shui advice for my business. I've read some stuff about your office but my business is unusual. It is a very large building. You may look at it at www.grandslambattingcages.com Thanks! Frankly, every business / person is unique. In order to get a good advise, you will need someone to first assess like your ba zi, your office feng shui then be able to give you a proper analysis on how you can improve your overall feng shui. There is not going to be any single or general tips that can work for you. Feng Shui needs to be personalised and harmonise to your situation before you can enjoy the full potential. So I would advise that you get someone to advise you professionally. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Wong Paul, Wong paul wrote: Mr Lee, Care to elaborate how can I improve the flying star of my house. thanks Just like what we kept mentioning from time to time. You must identify what are leaks in the home. So for flying star, do a flying star analysis of the home. Once you have done a flying star chart, identify where are the trouble stars ie star 5 and star 2. If they fall in key areas of the house (ie living room/bedroom etc). These stars should be neutralised with metal. Even like star 3 and star 4, these are stars often related to lawsuits / romance stars. If they are present in especially bedroom etc, these are sectors that need to be balance off. Often with either Fire (if no earth stars are present) or Metal to destroy the stars. If star 7 (especially in period 8), might be related to robbery stars so must correct especially if found in like living room sector. After that, you will want to determine where is the Wealth stars especially (Water Star = zheng cai) ie in period 8 would be star 8. In addition the Wealth star especially Mountain Star = pian cai is. Once you fix up the problem stars, and activate the auspicious star, you would have corrected most of the flying star issues in the house. Others you should also look at is like shapes and form issues such as posion arrow from a building or tree opposite your home etc. Any leaks in the house must be neutralise. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Sorry..I would also like to ask as I have just visited lovesigns.net and I have found that my fiance and I are a difficult match. I just want to know how accurate it is and if there are ways to overcome it..I was born in 1982 (Dog) and my fiance was born in 1981 (Rooster). Horoscopes usually only based on year of birth so most of the analysis you can say is more general. Usually people look at horoscope more just for fun than real accuracy. However, under the ba zi even for say Dog and Rooster, there can be different types of element of Dog, say weak water Dog, Strong Fire Dog etc. There can also be different kinds of rooster ie weak metal Rooster, strong Earth Rooster. So the different element sign ie weak water dog and weak fire rooster, will not be as good as weak water good and strong Metal rooster. This is because the element sign will define what kind of dog and rooster you belong to. And thus, you can further be more accurate in determining compatibility. Often, you can use element to harmonise the two person ie a weak water dog and Strong Metal Rooster, can be improved by having Water element which helps to improve luck for both persons. So if elements are compatible, than even if the animal signs aren't that favourable, it isn't that bad. The worst compatibility is where element clash and yearly horoscope clash. That means very incompatible. One thing you should also note from this is. Ultimately, a relationship takes two person to make it work. No matter what horoscope or ba zi incompatibility exists, but if the two are not willing to give and take each other's weakness, then no matter what you do these two will never get along. Whereas, if two person truly love and give and take, no matter how incompatible the analysis maybe, the relationship may still workout. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Why do some people only want to pick on that year? Any particular reasons aside from the tung shu? When will the tung shu for next year be out? Can I then refer to you an a suitable date once it is out? As far as I am aware, this is the most common reason:- Tung Shu for next year is only available once a year usually in the 3rd/4th quarter of the year. As such, to look for dates beyond the tung shu, you need to wait until the next year book is available. Whereas we do not depend on availability of the Tung Shu to be out in order to select dates. We have our own system to compute the auspicious dates even for 10 years down the road. So we do not need to wait till the last minute to help people select a good date. Often I noticed most user telling me that sometimes just getting a date a year ahead already have difficulties booking reservations for popular hotels. Thus, most people want to be able to plan early to get the best date selection for their important event. Hope that helps. Dear Cilla Tan, Cilla Tan wrote: I understand from my paid Bazi chart, I'm a strong wood. It mentioned..( Since you are a strong Wood, you don't want to be too overly strong otherwise, you will not be able to control yourself.).Please explain to me what is that mean? Does that mean I will fall sick or something else? I understand that we need to balance all elements, but what if we lack of our favourable element too? Is there a chart to tell us whatwill happen if someone lack or have too much offavour/unfavourable elements???? That is just a general statement does not really mean anything. You see ideally you want to be a person balanced wood. That is, not too strong or not too weak. However, that is virtually hard to achieve. At most, a person is always too strong or too weak. So a weak person strive to be stronger, while a strong person wants to be more in control. That is about all that statement really means. Usually a Strong Wood person, usually means that you are strong either because of lots of water and/or wood. And thus, lack fire/metal/earth to balance up. The true way to see how much you have of each element is to use the balance of the five element chart which breaks the five element into percentage. Ideally, everyone strive to have 20% of each of the five element. But this is virtually impossible to get. No one will be able to tell how much you have of a particular element you have at anyone time. So most of time if you are Strong Wood, then more of Fire and Metal will certainly helps you. Just relate the element to the various career, house direction, colour etc. The more of these areas favouring you, the better your overall luck. Hope that helps. Dear Susse, Susse Persson wrote: How do I find my wealth Corner ? Frankly, there is no such single wealth corner. Each house is unique, and the way to find your weal sector is to find where is the current prosperity star in the house (ie a period 7 house, mountain star 7 is your pian cai, while water star 7 is your zheng cai.). So you should make use of the free flying star report in our member area to determine your house wealth sector. This sector changes from time to time. For personal wealth sector or corner, you make use of either the Ba Zi (ie a weak water wealth element is the element water destroy ie Earth). While your best facing sector is where your eight house determines as either Prosperity or Excellent direction. So if you have a house in that sector it is your personal wealth sector in terms of suitability. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I got a new house and the front door is facing west. The front door of the house is facing an exist door, which when open has a flight of stairs. My Kua number is 1. I have already bought the house, how can I improve the living condition of this house and make me more prosprous. This question sounds very similar to another recent post:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=18533 I am not sure if it is exactly the same. But as mentioned, in such situation where it is difficult to put any form of partition, then the best is work on the having like a main door with bottom half fully covered. This can help to prevent any sha qi from entering into the house. However, if yours is similiar to the above post, where it is a private walk way, then I don't think you need to worry about it as much. You might as well focus on enhancing the home in other areas (ie flying star, ba zi etc). That will ultimately be the way to improve luck. Most important is to identify any major leaks and then fix the leaks that you find. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Daniel, Frankly, I will not be able to comment much on what your previous master has used to analyse your feng shui. In terms of our website:- To find whether a house is good or not under the house hunting analysis:- 1. Flying Star of the house built in a period will determine which facing direction would be most ideal (assuming the ba zi and suitability isn't yet considered). So different period (ie period 7 house will have certain direction better, period 8 house will have another set of direction better). 2. Then you need to check against your ba zi element ie weak wood likes water, thus North facing (water) is usually good. 3. In addition to the ba zi element, it would be good that the Eight House (does not fall under at least Death or Disaster.) In fact, if both Eight House and Ba Zi direction are good, it will be considered the most suitable house for you. So you see there are several difference theories available. Our house hunting does all these analysis to obtain the best possible facing direction that considers all forms of analysis. Even that, you will still need to match the various bedroom sector so that all your family members each have a suitable facing sector to make the house search complete. My best guess is that your previous master could just only focus on the best house direction based on either Flying Star only or only one concept to define your best house direction. As mentioned, since there are so many different feng shui practitioners/master. You will really have to determine if they really know their stuff or how much details they use in the analysis. The more detailed your analysis, the less you will go wrong when making any decision. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Megan, Anonymous wrote: I am an extremely weak wood person. Thus, wood and water are my favorable elements, and since I have strong metal in my chart, metal is an unfavorable element. I currently work as a police dispatcher. I have read that police work is a metal element career, but would you suggest that as a dispatcher and call-taker for emergency police service, I am in more of a communications field, which is good for those with wood and water as their favorable elements? Thanks in advance for any words of advice you can offer. Generally, police work normally involves law enforcement. Thus, it is more accurate to classify police work as Fire element (Law). More than metal. So I would consider your job industry as Fire element. Although, your work scope is more like communication so it has some Water element in terms of work scope. Communications (Water) element is suitable for weak Wood person. But for Fire (Police/Law Enforcement) it is not as suitable as it exhaus your weak Wood. So industry wise, not as suitable. Career is something hard to tell you what you can go into. As almost all jobs need some kind of experience or skills to be able to venture into. Try taking a look at this career list:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm Then evaluate which career might be most appropriate for you to venture into. Hope that helps. Dear Sam Yeong, Sam Yeong wrote: Duringperiod 7,if ws7 is atthe facing andms7is at thesittingwewillconsideritis a good fs house (wang ting wang cai). As long as you haven't made any major renovations to change to the new period. A period 7 house will remain a period 7 house luck. So the double7 will still be auspicious. Remember in feng shui say a period 7, star 6 is fading prospertity, star 7 is currentprosperity and star 8 is future prosperity. So you should look at the star 8 because it is the future prosperity star in addition to the star 7. Only difference lies in that star 7 on its own will start to revert to a Robbery Star. So luck will be a little less auspicious then it should. Thus, usually it is more recommended to change to the next period especially if the luck is better. Sam Yeong wrote: But now we are in period 8, is the logic above still valid? or we have to look at the ws8 and ms8 now to see if this house is still a good fs house? Dear Angela, Angela Le wrote: 20-Year Reigning Period: 8 (2004-2023) Does this mean the information provided to me applies only to a house built between 2004 -2023? In the house hunting report, this period refers to houses built within 2004-2023. This is because the flying star influence is calculated based on the 2004-2023 so the best houses in period 8 will be different if it is built earlier in period 7. Thus, when you do a house hunting report, you normally prepare a period 7 and period 8. For houses built in period 7, you look at the best direction recommended in period 7 report, while if the houses are built in period 8 look at the best direction recommende din period 8 report. Dear Linda, Linda Angelo wrote: ive been reading every feng shui book i can get my hands on. the more i read the more confused i get. Not sure if you were the same person who sent me a query about trailer and graphic layout. If not, basically you should note that when feng shui was created, there is no such thing as a trialer. So really, there is not going to be any books that can properly advise you on this. This is because a trailer is moveable so your feng shui luck isn't fixed to a certain direction unlike a concrete house. I think in the case of a trailer, you should focus on making the maximium use of the small space available so that it is practical and useful. If you do wish to apply some feng shui, then go for suitable colour schemes rather than worrying about where is the good or bad sector based on flying star. Cannot apply flying star and eight house simply because a trailer will not have a true fixed location. If you part the trailer in a different direction, then your so call feng shui cures for the flying star will need to be shifted along with it. So not really going to be practical. More likely, if you follow your ba zi, ie weak wood, then have your trailer in water (blue/black/gray) colour etc. This would be very much more practical for your trailer feng shui application. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Hoa Luong, Hoa Luong wrote: I'm going to completely renovatethe convenient store for my gas station business.According tothe blue print, the architect puts the bathroom right next to my office (my office and the bathroom share the same wall), I don't think this is a good idea. Do you? Doesn't sound good at all. The toilet should be located a distance away from your office or at least in the bad sector of the building if possible. And it should be located at the frontage of the building (which is also bad). Hoa Luong wrote: Thebuilding's facing is S1 and this renovation will move the building to P8. According to the S1/P8 flying star chart, the W, SW andCenter sectors are inauspicious. Of course, I'm notgoing to put the bathroom in the center, sothat leaves Wand SW. According to the flying star chart, W sector (ms2, ws5, bs1) is bad; and the SW (ms7, ws9, bs5) is very bad.If I put the bathroom in the SW sector which is the southwest corner, it will be consideredat the frontage of the building. I rememberedCecil had told mein one of my previousquestions that it's not good to have bathroomat the frontage of the house. So should I put the bathroom in the West sector which is the back corner of the building? I'm a strong water, west house person, so W is my excellent and SW is my health direction. Would a West location bathroom be bad for me? SW will not be a good sector to place the toilet. Actually, the toilet should be located in an area which you cannot benefit from the sector. Since West is excellent for you, then that should be where your office room should be or at least in another 2 good sector of the store. Then locate the toilet in another sector other than the frontage of the house and not too close to your office. If your office is located in a room which is favourable for you, then if West is the back of the building, then it should be no problem if your toilet is there. Because SW is suitable for you and your office sector is also in your good sector (Longevity/Properity). The reason I say this isbecause you mentioned this is a store. So I am not sure if your office location needs to entertain guess or visitor or not. If you need to entertain people, then locating nearer to the entrance under your good sector would be better. If just a work area for you, then locating at the back of the building will still be acceptable. So my point here is first find a good sector for your office, then allocate the toilet accordingly. This way you can ensure everything will fit you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Angela, Angela Le wrote: I don't understand very well on how to improve my earthly elements or at least increase or decrease it. Like what is considered water, ( a water faucet in the house) and what is considered earth ( more plants in the house). What about wood furniture? Can that be counted as earth and wood? I am a strong fire and apparently for the next 10 years I need more earth than water. What does that mean? I tried finding the answers on the site, but could not find it. Please explain. Basically, make use of this talk article about the five element and relationship as a reference:- URL: http://talk.geomancy.net Generally, you should look at the larger picture about the relationship:- 1. House / Office Facing direction element - if suitable you can get a great deal of luck from this in addition to the eight house suitability. 2. Colours - Colours of clothes, furniture, car, room colour decor all play a great deal of influence of the element of the object compared to the material. Of course material is also another way to go about improving your luck but think about it for most furniture, you have either Wood/Metal/Glass. So if you use material it can be a little too limited as to what kind of element it represents. So instead you use the shapes and colour to define the object would be more accurate. ie a red metal table is considered fire element rather than metal element. 3. People around you - ie Spouse / Family / Friends, the more of your favourable element, the greater you can ride on their better luck and element. 4. Career - since a career influence you most next to the home, it is of course the next important area which you can try to work in an industry that is favourable to your element if you have the skills for it. So you should be basing on all these key areas. Others like water faucet are too small to be of much impact. Those are considered micro importance (thus least important compared to the colour of the bathroom). Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

There isn't anything that Feng Shui directly solve for health issues. And if I am not wrong Eyes can be related to theFire (Heart and Brian). Heart and Brian helps to pump blood to all parts of the body. Chinese Medicine relates the five organ to explaining the various function of other parts of the body. As I am not fully trained as a medical practitioner, my knowledge on the five element to the human body is limited. Dear Roeland, Sorry, got very confused with the description:- Roeland de Looff wrote: When I open my frontdoor I see a very small corridor and stairs leading to my appartement. The stairs are private, so no other people are involved. Roeland de Looff wrote: On top of the stairs there is another door that leads to a larger corridor on the first floor where I live. So what you are saying here is that you open your front door (I guess the front door to your building at the ground floor), then walk through the small corridor and up the stairs until you reach another door at the top of the stairs (which I call 2nd door). This 2nd door at the top of the stairs leads to a larger corridor on the 1st floor that you live in? So that means in order to get to your home, you have to enter two doors? Am I getting it right? So you are asking whether the 2nd door (which is the entrance to your apartment) does it need a cure? I mean based on this description does not sound like it will be a major impact as firstly it is a private stairs and secondly you hardly make use of it. But as mentioned, a solution for blocking any Sha Qi into a home where you cannot put plants or screen, is to install a metal gate entrance that the bottom half is fully covered (cannot see through type).
