Hi Annie, annie koh wrote: i engaged your service in 2003 when i moved to my flat in tampines. i hope you would answer this query i have. Since you had taken our services, feel free to e-mail to support@geomancy.net with your date and time of birth, then I can help you generate an hourly analysis for the date you wish to analyse. Please e-mail with this forum message so that I can remember the correspondence. Even though Cecil has done the analysis for you, but as it is sometime, the quickest way is provide us with the date of birth info to quickly analyse for you. Often, for timing for example, it is best you use auspicious sounding of the time ie 8.58 or 9.59 for example. Such auspicious sounding is often most practical. This is because sometimes if you just focused on the hour, best hours for can be at wee hours of the morning, which is no use for you. Hope that helps. Dear CindyLu, Quote: I've always wondered if feng shui helps people struggling with weight loss/gain. Would this just be associated with the general health star? or does this not have significance in flying star? Please understand that Feng Shui is no mircle cure for all problems. Health / Relationships are two of the areas which Feng Shui has least influence or effect. Health is best to always seek Medical advice from doctors. To excercise to improve your health and maintain healthy diet. Relationship depends on two person's willingness to give in to each other. So if you understand this, you will know that there is no way that Feng Shui can fully have an impact over these two areas. Feng Shui can attempt to create a balance or harmony. Usually when most people feel comfortable they will have less worries and thus work better etc. So when you ask about weight loss, this is beyond feng shui. You should rather look into dieting and exercise to control it rather than depend on feng shui. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Anon, Just as my reply to the other review query. At this point, not able to comment yet as we haven't yet have time to review it. Not going to be able to give you anytime frame as to whether it will be reviewed or not. But like I mentioned, if you do have units you like from that condo, then it is best you seek professional advise such as can or cannot buy service to review before buying it. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I intend to purchase a unit in the Quintet. But I'm concerned about the feng shui of the place there. Can Master advise? Each condo and unit within the condo are quite unique. As such, until we have any opportunity to review it, we will not be able to comment on it. I will also not be able to give you a time frame whether or not it will be review as we are truly busy just trying to clear our various workloads. If you are really interested in the unit but not sure whether it is suitable to you. Then probably it is better you seek professional advise such as a House Hunting Can or Cannot buy service to review it before you purchase it. This way you can be sure if it is worth spending your money to buy the home. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Any feng shui views on the Quintet Executive Condominium located in Choa Chu Kang? Firstly, Master Cecil is currently extremely busy with the many many cases he has to clear. As such he hasn't yet have time to write up a review on the condo you have listed. I will also not be able to give you a confirmation if he will be reviewing it. Anonymous wrote: Only 459 units - quite comfortable with this number. Frankly, the number of units in the condo isn't a big issue, except when you consider the monthly condo maintanence fees involved. Usually the more important factor would be the condo and external environment itself. A good development must be able to trap or suck wealth from others to get a quantum leap in feng shui. Dear Angela, A Le wrote: How would you read a diagram of a house to see if it is really missing any corners if it has a covered porch with a small fence around the porch? I have attached a photo. Do you count the covered porch or not? Because if you do not count it, then I will be missing a corner in the SW area, which is not good for me because of my ba zi. If based on the layout you attached, I would consider the garage a protrusion rather than consider the covered porch a missing corner. This is because when you conider where the main door is located, that would give you the border house, where the grarage becomes a protrusion. Hope that helps. Dear Edwin, edwin tay wrote: In my Bazi report, it is said that my unfavourable wealth element is earth. I would like to find out what's my favourable wealth element. I think you are slightly mistaken by wealth element. By default, the element your birth element destroy is your wealth. This means Earth is your wealth element. However, the differences here is that as a weak Wood person, Earth isn't by default auspicious because if you are not strong enough, you will find that you will lose wealth rather than gain wealth. So your wealth element will become auspicious for you when you make yourself strong enough to benefit from it. As such, the more water and wood element you have in your life, you will then be able to benefit from the Earth wealth element. Hope that helps. Dear Edwin, edwin tay wrote: Below is an article posted by you. I could not understand the last paragraph whereyou said that it require a strong person to benefit from the wealth career. I'm a weak wood and my recommended career is wood related jobs. There seems to be a contradiction here. Would like to seek your enlightenment on this concept. Thanks! For a weak or strong person, the element you destroy is your wealth element. So for example wood element's wealth is Earth element. The difference lies in the fact that weak Wood needs to be strong first before it can control earth element. However, a Strong Wood is strong enough as such it can control earth element. That is why Strong Wood can immediately take advantage of Wealth or Power and Authority careers. So for weak Wood, unless you have enough water and wood, you cannot effectively take advantage of your Earth wealth element (as such Wealth or Power and Authority careers are not so recommended.) Instead, it is best you go for more suitable careers such as Water/Wood element career. In order for you to be strong, you need to have like Water/Wood facing home, need to have luck period that favour you, need to have like colours, and people around you that is Water/Wood element. Else you will find that if you venture into Earth element career, you will not benefit greatly. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: The bedroomsdoor half of it faces each other. As the results the red dot paint were wear-off and we even try paint it with permanent marker pen there no use (the door knob make of metal). Is there anyalternative to hang a beads or should we paint a red dot again. Frankly, I think here whether you place the dot or not, it really not going to impact much. As mentioned, you must be able to see and judge what issues are consided major flaws what are minor flaws. All major flaws must be corrected, but when it comes to minor flaws, it does not mean that everyone needs to be corrected. For example, image a sha qi, you also have to determine which is major sha qi which is minor sha qi. Say you have a large building opposite the house that cuts into your home. Compare that to say some torns in the plants that cuts to your home. It is obvious that the major sha qi must be fixed, whereas the other one from the torns are not too big a threat. Same issue here, though if two rooms faces each other isn't that ideal, but it isn't as bad as two neighbour door facing each other where you have family members compared to neightbours. This is because as family members, you are more likely to work out your difference. While for neighbours it is harder to work out differences when it arises. So that is why I considered this as minor issues. It really does not matter whether or not you correct it or not in this case. As mentioned, in Feng Shui it is possible to get 100% perfect home, there will bound to be some slight flaws which is ok even if you do not correct it. Hope that helps. Hi Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: Since I took the Feng Shui course at your site. I became to understand the Eight House Theory as to avoid the Death and Disaster line. As the main door is to take the breadwinner andspouse bedroom direction. And now, it's looks like I'm confusing with the flying star with the Eight House Theory which I super-impose the 9 grid of my house layout and alsodone the pie chart tosuper-impose.The only option that I can place my bed which is in theSouth (Prosperity) direction but thenthe bed is near to the toilet door and if the door is to open the toilet bowl can be seem.We have placed the curtain across thetoilet bowl whichmean when the toilet door is open the curtain can be seem before the toilet bowl. Is that a good suggestion.Or should I placed my bed at the NE (Irritation) direction. Remember, that in Feng Shui you must prioritise the concept as follows:- 1. Sector where the bedroom falls under for each person will signify the major luck that the person will receive from that room. ie if it is Prosperity, then if the person uses that sector he will enjoy his prosperity luck. This is irregardless of where you actuall face within the room. 2. Shapes and form of the placement of your desk/bed etc. This comes as more important than when you compare which direction you should be facing for your best direction. 3. The Best direction for sleep or working should then be considered if there are two placement options from point 2, and which of the two is better. If you based on this way, you shouldn't have much confusion. As based on what you mentioned, shapes and form placement 2 will be more important. So first make sure this option is ok first before considering any suitability issue. So if I read correct from what you have mentioned, NE (irriration) has better shapes and form, and less suitable sleeping position. Whereas, S (Properity) has better suitability, less shapes and form placement. As such NE would be more ideal. Sophia Chia wrote: Where is the exact of the mountain star and water star located. This can be quite difficult to explain, if you can have a diagram I can better advise you here. Try to break down the analysis into 8 pie where you can clearly see the division of each sector of influence, then you can better assess where the stars are for the purpose of correcting it etc. Hope that helps. Hi Angela, Angela Le wrote: I wrote last time, but you werent' able to answer because my picture did not attach. My question was, "how would you read the main entrance if the main front door faces west and the garage faces west too, but when you park your car in the garage and use the garage door to enter the home, it falls on the SW Line. So which one is it if you use the garage door as your main entrance? West or SW? Since your home is a landed property, you take the facing from the main door entry (not from the car garage). This will also be the general facing of your home. Either way, both faces West. As such your home is considered a West house. This is the general direction that your home will be facing. Hi Anon, Unfortunately, it is going to be difficult for end users to be able to tell what is really right or wrong. This is not the only theory that I have seen which is different ways to apply, even other concepts like flying star, eight house, ba zi also have lots of variation. The best advise I can give you is, for the internet, it is easy for anyone to write an article on Feng Shui, more importantly, you should always check up on who wrote the article and how much experience they have on the matter. I mean no point taking advise from an article written by someone who just got interest in the subject and thus written the article as they will probably not be able to fully understand most of the feng shui concept anyway. So they may have wrongly interpreted the concepts for example. Often, whenever you learn or read any concepts you should apply the concepts entirely from the same source before coming to any conclusion. Meaning that you shouldn't not read a little here and little there and then combine the information. This is because every concept must be able to be related properly together with a common denominator. For exmaple, using Five Element as the basis to associate the concepts together. Often if you just read one concept from this person, and another concept from that person, the principle theory behind is different, then the result you will get will be completely off. Anonymous wrote: I am new to Feng Shui. After some reading and web searching, I have found two seeming contradicting theories. Please help to clarify. The theory adopted by you seems to indicatethat forEast persons like me with Kua = 4 thefour good directions for the door facing are N, S, SE, and E. However, another theory seems to believe the good sitting direction should be N, S, SE, and E, and thus the door facing directions are S, N, NW, a nd W.For the N and S, either theory would say to begood directions for facing and/or sitting. But for the other directions, two theories could yield totally opposite results (for me, NW would be an idea facing direction according to the 2nd theory, but bad one according to the 1st theory). Could you please offer some insight to thisconfuusion and perhaps the origin of that? Many thanks! I must tell you frankly, that I never like to use the word Facing or Sitting direction. Because, I find that you need to first understand how the author treats these term. Why? Facing can be interpreted two ways. From center of compass going out to the direction (this is from the view that you stand from the house looking outwards). Or from the Direction towards the center (this is from the view the Qi flows from the direction into the house). Of which most often, we take it from the center outwards to the direction. So unless you get this reference point correct, then you will find that you might get different analysis results. So really very hard to tell you which will be right or wrong all depends on how the person explain to you. However, it has been generally accepted that for Eight House, the purpose is find which sector is good or bad for you. And how you apply this is as follows:- 1. Finding best bedroom sector, for example West sector, means your bedroom should be located in the west side of the your home. 2. Bed position - Ideally, if West is a favourable direction for you, then your head to point West, while feet point East. 3. House Facing - If for landed property, generally, because the bedroom are located on the 2nd level. Often most house design is such that if the living room / entrance is South, the master bedroom is located on the top. As such, South Facing house are ideal. 4. Apartment Facing - Now this is a little tricky. Cos most houses, you enter from the West, but your bedroom are mostly located at the East. So when you apply this concept you try to ensure that most of the sector for your bedroom falls under your favourable sector. For example you will noticed one direction often opposite to the other 3 good direction. So if your main door can fall in that sector, while the bedroom still fall under the good sectors this is ideal. 5. In terms of Ba Zi and Eight House determination of direction, it is best to use the Direction from the compass outwards as the facing direction. So for example if your house main entrance is West, and West is your auspicious sector, this means that West side is where your auspicious Qi is so you want this Qi to be blowing into your home. That is why most master on the internet as well as our website will take this as the correct facing direction orientation. On our website, we prefer to use the actual Compass direction as this will eliminate any confusion on the Facing and Sitting direction. Hope that helps. Hi Edwin, edwin tay wrote: I would like to find out how should I balance the 3 elements of my work desk with Earth, Wood, Water, Metal, Fire? Also, as I'm a weak wood and the fire element in me is quite high, does the'fire' ornament I use to balance my desk increase my 'fire'? One should always rememeber that in Feng Shui, there are always important and least important cures. For example to improve a person luck, the main luck comes from the Home (ie a suitable house element), followed by career (ie sutiable career), and followed by other areas such as colours (of your bedroom, car, clothings etc). As long as you get the above right, even if your work area isn't completely suitable it really does not matter as much. This is because unless you are the boss or key personal in the office, you are unlikely to be able to influence much of where to choose your sitting position or change the colour scheme of the decor. So most cases, most people will not be able to do much at their small work place. So anything that you can place to make it more pleasing for you to work in will be a big plus. So if you have favourate pictures, or photos, or plants or objects that you like, no harm placing it at your desk. This is because if you feel comfortable with the area you work in, then you will tend to have less stress and be able to focus on your work more. edwin tay wrote: Is a dracaena fragans plant (http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/54287/) good for fengshui? does it belong to the wood element and where's the best place to place it? Can it be used to balance one of theelement of my desk? Plants are generally good to have. As they are both pleasing and add colour to the normally dull work area. Yes, most plants if any are considered wood so if you lack or favour wood element, then no harm having some plants. But again more importantly, focus on your other major area such as your home, your clothing or personal objectcolour. These will enhance you no matter where you are working. Hope that helps. Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: Can you explain the difference between "Earned Wealth" and "Main Funds" in the Ten Dieties Summary? Earned/Unexpected Wealth deity is basically about wealth money, as such you have Earned Wealth and Unexpected Wealth. Earned wealth is mostly for welath opportunities, while unexpected wealth is mostly for like inheritance or lottery related. Main/Unexpected MainFund deity is basically more about resources skills or talents. So the more Funds you have, the more talents you might have. Like musical talent or any exceptional skills. Hi Anon, Unfortunately, there are quite a lots of concepts in feng shui. There are also lots of variations in the concepts applied by different masters. Even for the same concept when analysed by a master, might give you different results depending on the experiences of the master itself. How detailed the master does the analysis will also affect the analysis. ie Ba Zi analysis for example, if done only with year of birth, you get year of birth accuracy analysis. If done with day of birth, you get a more accurate analysis for example. As such, you will bound to get different analysis results. This is one reason why we came up with a series of tools to standardise the analysis results, as such whether it is myself or Cecil that do the final analysis the results will not differ that much from the base analysis. However, couple of fundamental concepts are will still be correctly analysed by most masters. Anonymous wrote: hi, i recently seek Ba Zi consultation from some fengshui masters. I know that my KUA number is 9 which belong to the Li group (Fire) as my birthday is on 07/01/1974. I will not be checking on your analysis, as we have lots of free tools for you to counter check the analysis from our website:- URL: https://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Anonymous wrote: The master is telling me that i belong to the Wood, and thus my careershould be in thesector of water and wood. If it is wood, i stillcan believe it as wood when burn produce firebut water will kill off the fire. But hesaid that the water will nourish the wood to make it grow . Also quite true. But still not sure. A weak wood person wants to be stronger, while a strong wood do not want to be overly strong. The goal is to achieve harmony. So if you are a weak Wood, ideally the water which produces wood is good for you. This is just like the water nourishing the wood to make it grow. This is what we call the productive cycle under the five element. Fire will actually exhaust wood, because wood feeds the fire. If the person is a Strong Wood, then fire is favourable, but if you are a weak wood, fire will only make you weaker. I think if you read this notes which I created for my talks, you will probably understand some of the basic concepts. Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: In my "Summary of 10-yearly Luck", it shows that I have wealth luck from 38 to 67 years old, i.e. from year 2001 to 2030. How can I enhance or improve my wealth luck during these years? 10-year are considered big luck. If generally it favours you, it means that whatever you do during that period is likely to succeed because luck is with you. Basically, to improve any luck whether it is 10-year, 5-year, year of month luck, it is all the same. You based on your birth element, ie weak wood, then it means you need lots of Water and Wood to make your weak wood stronger and avoid metal and fire. So the more favourable elements you have the more likely your luck will be better. I think I have mentioned this a lot of times. Five elements can be related to many areas such as Career (Sales-Fire), Colours (Red-Fire), House direction (South-Fire) etc. So the associate as much of these in as many part of your life, and you will automatically improve your luck. Do we consider once it is place we should not remover it as to clean away the dust and the cover should not be open.Need your advice. Frankly, the purpose for this item is simply for a symbolic representation about trapping the wealth within the hulu. In fact almost everything in feng shui is based upon symbolic representation. So really, it does not matter whether it is open or closed. The idea is for it to be there to trap wealth before it leaks. It is also a nice decorative item for the room itself. All such items will collect dust at some point in time. I think it is in the best interest to keep it clean rather than continue to let dust accumulate on it. This is for practicalreasons so that germs will not grow. My home faces east, and my bedroom is the Southwest corner, the romance corner (must be some sort of sick joke). My furniture is wooden, and my room colors are blue and green mixes. My element is Water. I have been lighting pairs of candles every night, btw do these have to be the same color? I sleep with my head pointing east or southeast to encourage yang energies. I also attach a Jade double hope to the left side of my belt and a jade bagua on the right side of my belt. I figured double hope on left to attract yin, and bagua on right to encourage yang. There also may be a problem having to do with the year i was born. 1983, suggesting that i am Yin, a nonmanly quality and undesirable since i dont really enjoy overly controlling yang women. I really dont know what else i could do, but i have only read a few books on feng shui. Please help. Regarding romance. Unfortunately, Feng Shui can help to improve luckand opportunities. It is not a miracle cure for all problems. Especially, in terms of relationship, it can do whatever to improve or smoothing the relationship. However, it will ultimately be up to the two person on how much each other are willing make the relationship work. Relationship needs two person's commitment to last. No amount of other factors can make it work. That is why most of what you have been doing does not help. Feng Shui isn't about putting this item and that item here and there and expect everything to work. You will have to equally put in your own effort in order to make a relationship last. Feng Shui is all about creating an harmonious environment that everyone will feel comfortable to live in. Once everyone feel comfortable, you are able to rest/work better which in turn mean you enjoy better quality of life. So ultimately, it is just about choosing nice colour scheme, best placement of furnitures etc. It is nothing about cluttering yourself with items such as candles, jade double hope, jade bagua etc. Rather than wasting time and money on that, you should focused on like probably reading up books on how to be romantic, or just simply showing care for the person you love. I mean going out, doing things that both of you will enjoy etc. Anything that can help to create more opportunities to enhance relationship between the two persons. As mentioned, it takes two person for a relationship to work. Frankly, you will definately get better results from these, then depending on Feng Shui. Feng Shui is not a miracle cure for every problem. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Anon, We get lots of such postings every other day. I must say it can sometimes be difficult to help each an everyone personally. Each home is unique and unless a full review is done to identify what's going on, it can be anyone's guess what are the leaks in the home that is causing your problem. Without knowing what is the leaks involved it is anyone's guess what you need to do to correct it. It is easy to say try to do this and that, but unforunately that is not how true feng shui works. You need to know what is the problem before you can correct it. That is why most general advise that tells you that south-west is romance sector so you must place 99 roses to get romance concepts does not work. What I can do to help you here, is provide you with some paid credits for you to be able to properly use the many tools to help assess what could be wrong and then attempt to fix up whatever problems that is identifiied. Please e-mail me at support@geomancy.net with your member account e-mail address and this e-mail content as reference. Dear Arthur, Arthur Ho wrote: From your articles, I realised thatone of my toilets sits in the center of the apartment (oops!) Attached isthe layout plan of my apartment. Please kindly verify if it's not too much of a trouble. Though the toilet is quite close to the center, it isn't exactly dead center. So I don't think it is a major issue. Furthermore, it takes several major leaks in the home at the same time for you to really have to worry. As to the various suggestions provided. Frankly, those suggestions will normally not work as well. In fact the only way to fix the problem is unless you are able to move it away from the center influence. But this is almost impossible in most pre-built apartments. Frankly, the reason why the toilet is a concern, is because the center is the flux where all the house influence will meet. As such it is best to kept empty so that there isn't a great imbalance. In addition, if you imagine if the toilet is the center, it is just like a big drain in the center where all your wealth will leak out of the home. So ideally, painting such colours will not really help. Possibly the only suggestion that might help is anything that can attempt to trap the wealth before it leaks like a hulu or like what you mentioned in point 3. However, these if any will only try to minimise such a leak. It will not complete remove the problem. But like mentioned, this although it one flaw, but on it's own it does not really a problem. However, if a home has too many other major leaks together with a toilet in the center, then it becomes something to worry about. In your home, I would be more concerned that the main door opens out and Qi enter into the house and exit to the window directly across for example. Hope that helps. Hit d, In such a house, you will have to divide the house equally in the eight pie. The apply the cures that fall within that sector of influence. If possible try to see whether how much the sector falls under that sector. Usually the bigger sector will have greater influence. Put the cure in the center of that sector of influence based on the Eight Pie division. Just placed one cure in that sector. Meaning that if the cure placed falls in the Master bedroom and Bedroom, you place the cure on the wall between the bedroom, then it will then correct the influence for that sector. Sometimes it can be hard to explain. If you have a layout, I can tell better advise you what I mean here. Hope that helps. Dear Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: I found my brother's double- storey terrace house the frontage is facing a hill. As one know that mountain isauspicious behind thehouse. Will there be bad inauspicious to their house or to the family. What will be the cause and if there is an inauspicious, what are the remedies. Ideally, mountain should be behind and frontage should be open. However, it does not mean that just because the house faces the mountain it is inauspicious. Really depends on the house, how high or steep is the mountain. How is the surrounding etc. It does not automatically mean it is not good. Really depends even more on the surrounding houses around it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
