  1. Dear Chia Doreen, Chia Doreen wrote: Recently I bought a resale flat and its master bedroom has a custom made dressing table with big mirror. I cannot remove this mirror. It's about 45 degrees facingfrom the side of the headboard (above headboard are windows). Since you cannot remove the mirror, then there is very little options that can be suggested even if the mirror is inauspicious. However, based on your diagram. I think it should still be ok. At least it is not located where there is a window directly opposite the mirror which would be worst. The other good thing I can see is at least by having the custom-made dressing table at a 45 degree angle, it at least does not create any major Sha Qi (poison arrow) from the corner of the dressing table. So I would say it should be ok. As long as you feel comfortable with a mirror, then it should not be a major issue. Remember, in Feng Shui, you are bound to have some areas in your home which is so call feng shui unfriendly. As long as you keep all other major issues corrected, then a few of the mirror placements shouldn't be a major concern. Hope that helps. 2. Hi Rachel, Rachel Hing wrote: My kuano. 5. I'm staying in a house for 4 years which facing SE and my bedroom located E. However, i do not feel anything negative so far. Can you explain this? pls advise. Thank you. If based on a female Gua 5, that means SE - Spook, while E- disaster. House facing Spook/Irritation isn't that bad, in fact a lot of people have such a facing direction. This is a minor issue. As for the bedroom in your disaster area, yes this isn't the most ideal, but not as bad as having the main door in Disaster of Death sector. One must remember that Feng Shui has many Tools, each tool is for a specific analysis. So far what you are looking from is point of suitability. This is just to tell you whether a house is suitable to you or not or on a smaller scale whether a room is suitable to you or not. Also, Eight House accuracy is only based on YEAR of birth, so it has it's limitations. You have to look at other areas to have a complete picture. ie a person's ba zi what element are you. Say you are a weak fire person for example would favour East (Wood) direction more. So even if your sector is Disaster for example, but because the element in that direction is good, it helps offset the unsuitability based on the Eight House. Another issue that must be assessed is also house feng shui itself. This has to do with the external Shapes and Form of the location. Often a good house with good external shapes and form, will reign supreme even if the house isn't that suitable. The Feng Shui of the house itself is another consideration that you need to consider. Only when you put together all these analysis, can one give you an assessment of how is your luck. Remember, that failing one aspect of feng shui does not mean you fail entirely. Eight House is only one portion of a consideration. You also have to consider other more important factor especially the feng shui of the house, ba zi luck etc. So in your case, even if you stay in a Disaster bedroom sector, but there are other areas in your favour, it will offset this issue. Usually people who face problems, have lots of concepts pointing to being very inauspicious. Only then do you get the full impact of the disaster influence. 3. Hi Anon, Original Quote: When you said the main door faces the compass direction is regarded as the orientation of the house. What if the actual main door is facing S but wechange the door facing SW, do we call this houes faces SW as the main doornow faces SW? Thanks. Regards, Rachel In your original e-mail, your question is to ask whether if you change your door facing of the house does it change the house from a South to a South-West. My reply is to tell you ifyour house is a landed property (which I presume it is), then the tilting of thedoor will not change the house to a South-West facing house. This is because for a laneded property you take the facing of the entire house. Anonymous wrote: Would appreciate your advise on how to improve my house fengshui. As i've purchased the house and i can't just leave it like that. I am presuming the house does not fit you based on the eight house? If so, and the house is considered your Spook / Irritation, then it shoudn't be that bad. However, it is Death/ Disaster then of course in the long run you will only get a quantum leap in feng shui if you move to a more suitable house. The only other thing you can do is like what we have always been advising, find out what are the leaks you have in the home and correct/fix them. An leaks in the home will only add more wealth leak. After you fixed up the leaks, then consider where you can enhance your wealth sectors to get additional luck improvement from the house itself. In addition, you should find out what elements you belong to and adjust like the colour scheme of the house or enhance your own personal ba zi. Remember that Feng Shui should be looked at in a wholistic manner. Failing one aspect does not mean that you have bad feng shui. You can still obtain luck from other areas. Only when many feng shui concepts tell you that there are bad influence should you avoid or completely move out to a more suitable house. There is no perfect home unless you construct your own home from scratch. Most houses will have some flaws here and there. The point is to minimise all flaws so that you can get the maximum luck out of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  4. Hi Angie, Anonymous wrote: Can I place a Fish Tank infront of the house main door? And it is theside of the fish tank facingthe main door. I believe that there is definately no issue in how you place your fish tank as long as the corners of the fish tankdoes not create a poison arrow or sha qi against other key areas in your home. As to whether it is auspicious to place it at your main door area of the home, then you will need to check with like the flying star analysis of your home to see if the stars present are suitable for having a fish tank. Such as if there is a water star 8, then yes most probably it will be an auspicious wealth sector. However, if it is a auspicious star 9 (fire element), then a water feature may not be advisable. 5. Dear David, Generally, that info is correct. Cow which is more or less related to Ox is Earth, while Rat is Water. Quote: I was told tat Cow represent the element Earth and Rat represent the element Water, is this true ? Where could I get all the representation of all animals chart ?Whatabout Rabbit and Dog ? These are based on Chinese Astrology Signs or the Earthly Branch based on the Ba Zi. Each animal sign has a basic default element. Dragon - Earth Ox - Earth Pig - Water Rabbit - Wood Monkey - Metal Dog - Earth Snake - Fire Goat - Earth Horse - Fire Tiger - Wood Rooster - Metal Rat - Water Quote: If a person need more "earth" to enhance his luck, does wearing a "Cow Pendant" helps? This portion is not really true. The problem with Feng Shui (especially the Human Luck aspect) now a days is that it is very commercialised. So many people uses things like these item will improve you luck in order to get you to buy them. True Feng Shui is all about creating harmony by selecting the best and most suitable home, placement of furniture, colour scheme etc. It has nothing to do with Feng Shui Products or Items. Such items are more like ornament or decoration. If you find it nice and like to wear it, by all means go ahead. Whatever makes you feel good will ultimately make you feel good and thus improve your luck. However, these items/products does not come with any guarentee that tells you that if you buy this item and wear it, you will get $20,000 in return. Hope that helps. 6. Dear Users, As there are more and more users participating in the forum, we made a few more enhancements to the forum for your benefit:- 1. Replying to a Post We have noticed that the existing reply feature which works for the older forum interface, is sometimes causing previous replies to be wrap when less than 40 characters and a " Quote: You should noticed this new kind of Quote which can be added by clicking on "Add Quote Box". Or simply selecting the portion of the quote from the Original Message display box to your posting box. Or add [ quote ]to the text you wish to quote[ /quote ] E-mail posted messages will see normal Quote: text being shown without the box. 2. Original Message to make it easy for Replying You should find this box located at the post screen. This shows you the original message that you are planning to reply. You can drag sections of text to add to your post as each paragraph is separated for you to pick and choose the correct section to reply to. This should make it easier for you to select quotes and easily refer to the original post for replying. In addition, if your original post contains HTML tables, you will now be able to cut and past these as part of the reply for the post. In the previous quote system, such formatting would have been lost as the content was converted to plain text only. 3. Posted by Me (Fixed) Many users have been telling me that the Posted by Me cannot properly see message that is not yet approved but posted. I have found the bug causing this feature to work properly. You should be see messages that are not yet verified. Hope you enjoy the various changes. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  7. Hi Theresa, Ideally, it is best you get a new bed for the new bedroom, rather than move your old bed. However, you can still move your old bedbut you must not be present during when the bed is being moved out of your existing home as well as move into the new home. As long as you are not there in the move, then it is fine to make of the bed in another bedroom. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  8. Hi Cheryl, Unfortunately, if you cannot make use of that main door, then no Qi can flow in and out of that main door. Since in Feng Shui it is all about Qi Flow, if you Qi is not able to flow through that door, then you cannot benefit from the house. By using the other entrance, the Qi of the house will then be considered based on that entrance. There isn't any cure or enhancement you can do to make the Qi come from the main door which is stuck. The only thing you can do is ensure that other flaws in the home are corrected to offset this influence. Hope that helps. 9. Hi Sophia, Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  10. Hi Theresa, Yes, as far as possible, try to move in only when everything is done. As to whether you should move in on the same day or a different day. This depends on whether all the move in is done or not. If everything is moved in properly, then should be no issue to move in later in on the same day. Probably it would be better tochoose another day that is auspicious for you to move in. This way, you move in when all shifting or arrangment is completed. Hope that helps. 11. Hi Sophia, Thanks for letting other member know whether they can find the 360 degree protractor. Usually, this kind of protractor is hard to find. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

  13. Hi Sophia, Frankly, the way the house number is arranged won't really make your house more auspicious or less auspicious. The luck of a house comes from the surrounding as well as the internal arrangement of the house. Luck does not come from the way the unit number is arranged. In fact, if you do that like what you suggest, it will only make people harder to find your unit. I think it is absolutely fine to just have the unit number list as #01-23. Maybe if you really want, make it look more impressive like the unit number in gold with nice wooden backing. That would probably be more impressive and practical. Anyway, like mentioned this is the least luck affecting/influencing issue. So as long as you like the way the unit number is displayed, that should be good enough. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  14. Hi Robin, Sorry, but as we have been focused on Feng Shui, we didn't really keep track of any Face Reading resources to recommend to you. This isn't one of the area we focused as it is more of a fortune telling then opposed to feng shui. So I am afraid you have to do your own research on it. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  15. Hi Julia, Actually, the only reason why people say TV isn't good for bedroom is because TV screen looks reflective. As such it is always related to like having a mirror effect. So the idea behind this is because it is said that when we sleep, our spirit leaves our body. Then when it sees a reflection of itself it will get shock. So that is why it is considered inauspicious. However, what if you are a person who, sees a mirror, comb your hair to make yourself look nice before leaving. So this is all a matter of tolerance. Some people like to look at themselves in a mirror, others don't. But it does not mean that it is at all bad but a matter of tolerance. Frankly, we are on the earth for such a short period of time. Do you really want to deprive yourself of TV entertainment just because it is not good to place a TV in the bedroom? So frankly, it does not really matter. Furthermore, in today's TV technology, especially if you get flat screen LCD, you can hardly see any reflection on the TV. So again, this becomes a non-issue. Hope that helps. 16. Hi, Before any advise can be given, you must know what are the likely causes for the problems you face:- 1. Health - Though ba zi can help give some idea about whether there will be health issues or not. You should seek professional medical help if you do have issues as they will be better able to help you on this area. 2. Marriage - Again though ba zi again can give some idea on compatibility with two persons. Ultimately, in order for a relationship to work will very much depends on the two persons how willing are both person interested in making the relationship work. Usually, when a person is faced with a series of problems, therecan be several issues that may go wrong the same time for it to happen. ie a bad feng shui house, or bad ba zi luck, or bad human luck (ie relationships etc). It is frankly, anyone guess as to what might be wrong in your case unless a full analysis has been done. You can make use of the many free tools on our member area (http://login.geomancy.net) to help diagnoise what area might be the root cause of your problem. Once you know, then at least you can work to improving it. The only thing I can help you here it to provide you with a free complimentary ba zi report to help you check you current luck. That may give you some insights. E-mail me at support@geomancy.net with your member account for me to credit it into your account. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  17. Hi Kelvin, Generally, even without looking at feng shui, you can easily tell which area in Singapore are better by looking at where most of the landed properties or high value properties are located. These are often the prime areas in Singapore. Every house or apartment is unique at every location, it isn't right for us to make any form of comments unless a full analysis is done to check on the luck of the house itself. I no matter which location there will be some good and bad units. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  18. Hi Kelvin, Frankly, the luck of a home comes from the Environment. And since the environment is hard to correct. This I must say is ultimately most important. If your surrounding environment is average, then no matter how much you enhance your own four walls (ie flying star) it will only remain average kind of luck. So you are only looking at one aspect of the flying star analysis. Sum of 10 or any other flying star features are only good if they are in the right location where the house can benefit from it. Not having it but having a house with more sectors auspicious in the right location can be better than having a sum of 10 which only say appears at the storeroom sector. It is really hard to tell you just based on this whether a house is good or not. You have to look at the overall picture and then rate it accordingly. Hope that helps. Hi Anon, It is hard to advise you what is best to do. But if you ask me, if you don't feel comfortable in an environment, then how are you going to perform your best? At least, this is what can tell from your description so far. It does not seem like you are comfortable at all, ie stress or tense up and worried. All these factors are not going to help you in anyway. If you really do not feel confortable in your environment, maybe you should consider looking for alternative employment (while you continue your work at your current location). Whatever your decision, I think you should first find someway to relax yourself. Only when you are relaxed can you work better, and make a better decision. The best I can help you is to provide you with a free ba zi credit that can help you check whether what elements or career are suitable. Maybe that can give you some better insights. E-mail support@geomancy.net with your member account and I will credit you with a ba zi analysis. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.
  20. Hi Sophia, There is no harm placing the 6 coins to balance up the sector. However, I would also recommend that you consider some modern enhancements such as like HEPA Air Cleaner (ie Sharp Plasma Ion Air Cleaner etc). Such modern equipment can help reduce the amount of bacteria in the house and thus reducing any illness. Which if you think about it will definately help as reducing bateria or keeping air fresh will reduce the chance of any family member falling ill. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  21. Hi Michelle, Firstly, you should know that Feng Shui isn't a mircle cure for all problems. Especially in your situation here for wanting to have another child. I think here that Medicine Science or taking Herbal Enhancers will give you more hope than relying on Feng Shui. In terms of your second e-mail. To know when would be the best time, that you can check your ba zi luck to see which year is best for you. I can give you a complimentary ba zi analysis which you can look at the 2005/2006/2007 forecast to check which is better. Please e-mail me support@geomancy.net with your member account and I will credit you a free credit to check that. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  22. Hi, Basically, for the Eight House, any of the 4 directions are suitable for that person. It does not mean that a West house person must stay in the West house only or a East house person must stay in the East house. The purpose of 4 good and 4 bad directions is to give you a flexibility to choose a home suitable to the breadwinner. Given that a house has to suite the breadwinner first as he is considered the head of the house earning most to sustain the entire family. So as long as the house falls within any of the 4 good direction (ie Excellent, Prosperity, Health or Longevity) it is considered an auspicious home for that period. One note here. West facing homes unfortunately has this problem of the Sun set influence. Which is another form of Sha Qi that should always be considered. This is because the heat of the sun can make the home very hot or warm thus creating a negative impact to the people staying in the house (unless you can afford to keep the air conditioner on all the time). Anyway, if you are looking for which sector would be better than usually among the 4 good direction Excellent or Prosperity would be better for house if possible. But frankly, as long as the facing is any of the 4 good direction, this is good enough. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  23. Hi Robin, Why not do a search on the internet. I am sure you wil lbe able to find something by searching for "Face Reading" in yahoo.com or google.com. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  24. Dear Bridget, The two concepts are different:- 1. Flying star is about the luck of the house, where is the wealth stars, where are the inauspicious stars of the house. This analysis tells you whethera sector is good or not or how much luck you can get from the home itself. 2. Eight House on the other hand is about the suitability of the sector, or best direction. A good sector of the home based on the flying star does not mean it will be suitable to you or not. ie say the bedroom has excellent flying star luck, but if the bedroom sector falls in the North and your Eight House tells you this is Death/Disaster sector. No matter how good the stars of the North sector of the house, it does not fit you. Since it does not fit you, it means you cannot get the maximium amount of luck from staying in that sector even though the luck of the flying star is good. So Eight House is about how you suit a sector or bedroom, while flying star is about how good the luck of that portion of the house will be. It is still possible to correct flaws if the flying star is inauspicious, but it is not possible to fix up a unsuitable sector. If a sector does not fit you, no matter how you correct it, it will still not fit you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
  25. Hi Anon, Generally, it is not advisable for you to be involved in renovation works or moving process especially since you are pregnant. Like you mentioned, the various installation especially dismantling or hammaring works are not auspicious for the baby in terms of Chinese believe. So you should avoid getting yourself involved at all. In fact, if possible you should not be present at any of the works. Since you are pregnant, never move in your existing bed that you are using now. Best to get new beds for the new home. Ideally, if possible you should wait till you have given birth then, move to the new home. Else, at least you should avoid getting involved in the renovation/move in works of the home. And if you do move in, you should not bring your old bed to the new home. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
