Dear Laura, This is similiar to saying that the wealth sector falls in the toilet / storeroom area so I must work in that sector in order to benefit from it. (ie. bring a notebook into the toilet and work). Unfortunately, when wealth stars are located in certain sectors of the house that isn't fully utilise, there is very little that you can do to fully take advantage of it. Rather than trying to see how you can activate such stars that are trap in less useful sectors of the house, you might as well spend more time activating stars which you can benefit from or fixing other leaks in the home. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Pam, Generally, in terms of shapes and form, it does not matter as much as how sharp the bend is. Any such curve bend, it is better if you are located inside the bend (ie on the opposite side of b for example), rather than outside. This is because a bend will look as if it is like a knife cutting or radiating outwards. These three houses (a), (b) or (c) will all suffer the knife cuting effect. All are not as ideal houses if you have a choice. That is why, I mentioned that at first look, it does not look good. This is because it is like the road cut out to the houses. Especially so with that corner house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Josephine, Firstly, N2 is a short form for North Sector 2. You see each direction ie North has a 45 degree angle. In flying star, each direction is divided into 15 degree sector, thus, you get N1/N2/N3. N2 simply represents 0/360 direction or true north direction. Based on what you mentioned, your home is a landed property. Why are using the backdoor as the direction? You should either use the main door or the frontage. For landed property we recommend that you use the frontage of the house. Furthermore, since the alternative backdoor is North is death for your husband, it means that will not be a good door for your husband to use. You mentioned, that your main door is NE75, so what is your husband's eight house for NE? If it is anything better than Death (N) or Disaster (E), then you should use that as his entrance. Since N and E are bad, what is NE for him? But you should know that, you cannot expect to get luck by remote control. This means that if this landed property isn't where you are staying, then you will not get the luck from the house itself. In fact, the luck you will be getting from is from the current apartment. In order to enjoy the feng shui of the house, you have to be staying there to benefit from it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Kelvin, Flying Star can be applied to as large as a plot of land, or as small as an apartment or a bedroom. So where you decide to take the facing direction or main door will determine how the flying star chart influence is for. 1. If you are doing a feng shui evaluation for the entire plot of land at Haig Court, then you take the entrance of the plot of land. 2. If you are doing a feng shui evalution for the entire block, then you take the facing of the entire block. 3. If you are doing a feng shui evalution for your own apartment, then you either take:- 3a. The main door of your apartment especially if lower level (ie less than 10 floors). 3b. The facing from your balcony or living room especially on higher levels or anything which you are not sure, you can use this as a general facing of the home. I believe what you are looking for is just to do an evalution of your own home, thus use either 3a or 3b. Hope that helps. Dear Samantha, Basically, the applying of the Eight House or Flying Star is done just as in the Step 7 of this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-house1.htm Each sector is 45 degree in range. So as long as the bedroom or sector falls under that 45 degree range, then the cures or fixes should be applied within that sector. Usually at the wall or window that is in that sector range. The best example that I can give you is this sample report that Cecil does for his clients in a Full Audit. http://www.geomancy.net/consultation/consult-home/onsiteconsultationsample-layout.htm You need to break up the sectors into the different sectors, then evaluate what colours and elements you need to balance up the sector. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Resarch

Dear Wanjun, Please make use of the online analysis to determine whether you are weak or strong:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Usually, ba zi day of birth is used to determine if you are what element within the year. As to whether you are a weak or strong element, that depends on quite a number of factors, ie seasons of birth, number of elements including the House of Conception & Life. The above link will analysed everything just as the paid report, so you will know for sure whether you are weak or strong. Hope that helps. Dear Oliv, The problem with most of the problem stars like star 2/3/5, is that they are Strong Earth/Strong Wood/Strong Earth. In order to reduce the Strong Wood, fire is the most effective because it uses wood to make the fire strong, thus weakening the Strong Wood. If you use Metal, metal may not be able to destroy Wood as easily. Imagine using an axe to chop down a tree that has a trunk that is very thick. But fire can easily burn down the tree. So fire is effective in such situation. However, the problem with fire cure is that it does not work where sector have star 2 or 5 present, as fire will only make those stars stronger. As such, in these special case, Metal would be the best solution. Imagine this. Say you are supposed to be able to get 100% of luck assuming there are no leaks in the house. But because there is an unfixed leak you can only get 60% of the luck. Enhancements can only bring up your luck by say 25% more. Given that you cannot expect to get more from a house unless you move to a better location for example. So this is like saying that if you have a leak that you do not fix you can only expect to get 60% of the luck. Even if you enhance all the best sector, you get another 25% more which makes it 85%. But if you fix up the leaks allowing you to get the maximium luck from the house, then enhance it, you can then get 125% of all possible luck. Which is why fixing the leak is an important factor in improving luck. Any leak reduces your overall luck. So fixing them help to avoid any wealth leak. Hope that helps. Dear Oliv Sillivan, To avoid lawsuits, you have to check out where is the Lu Chun Xing (Star 3 - Wood) under the flying star analysis. If there are such stars present in areas such as your main door, frontage, bedroom or study room which you use. These are the stars you want to neutralise so as to reduce any such lawsuits/conflicts. The solution is to have more Metal.Fire is also possible so long as there is no Star 2/5 present. These are the stars normally associated with the Lawsuit issues. However, beside that, we always advise users to do a full assessment of your home, check out whether there are any major leaks such as:- 1. House is death / disaster to the occupants particularly the breadwinner. 2. Is there any Shapes and form leaks (ie Poison arrow from building across the road, or Qi leak from main door out to a window etc) 3. Are there other flying star inbalances (ie sickness/misfortune stars), that are still not neutralised. 4. Enhancing your own personal luck by ensuring that you have more of your favourable elements based on your ba zi in your career, house & around you. If you ensure that all these areas are fixed or enhanced, then it will help to minimize any impact of any lawsuits etc. Hope that helps. Dear Samantha, One must not forget, that flying star is only one portion of a complete analysis. The most important factor to a good house isn't just the 4 walls of the home, but rather the external factors and surrounding. Regardless of whether you take the main door or the facing of the house. Both are not wrong, they are the actual flying star influence of the house itself. Even though, the charts may look different, they are the correct chart for the home. The important issue about flying star is to balance up all the sectors. Regardless of what is the chart, ultimately, the way to balance the sectors will not differ to much. Furthermore, as mentioned, flying star only affects the 4 walls of the house itself. How much, you enhance isn't going to make bring you that much wealth if the surrounding environment is bad. As long as your compass direction is correct, be it whether you use the main door or facing direction, they results will not go wrong if you balance everything correctly. Hope that helps. Dear Alice, Please always remember that true feng shui does not really need to use any items. The best way to harmonise the environment is not by putting all sorts of 'feng shui items' but rather to ensure that:- 1. You fit the environment based on suitability. 2. Colours scheme of the home/decor/car fits your element so as to gain as much luck as possible. 3. Placement of furnitures such that there is no posion arrows etc. You will find that if you follow the above, it does a lot more wonders than just using any particular items. Of course, such items if it makes you feel good, then no harm in putting it. This is because the Human Luck (whatever makes you feel good), is also another factor of the Heaven, Earth, Human luck. Otherwise, all items are otherwise promoted with the purpose of making money. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, For practical reasons, if one must shift house during herpregnancy, it is best that:- 1. she must not see the masterbed moved over to thenew home at all. 2. one possibility isbuy a new master bedroom bed. In particular, for the masterbedroom bed, she should not (must not) see it moved or participate in the moving of the bed. If possible, on the safe side, she should not participate at all in the move while pregnant. Only after the shift has been completed and the master bed is firmly in place, then she can "move-in" or come into the new home. Once this is done, don't move the bed at all. Only after baby's 1 month. You should also read up on some other post that Cecil has written relating to pregnancy and move-in/renovation. http://www.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=14401 Hope that helps. Dear Pam, Once a house has some water feature (ie drain etc). Then you have to consider the impact of the water course feng shui. Especially, the direction of the water flow as well as the shape of the drain. URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-wcourse.htm Generally, a drain near a house, poses a couple of problems typical problems like smell / flooding etc. Most of the time if you have a choice, it is best to avoid houses with such a drain if and where possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, There is a logical reason why anything higher than a side table is not advisable. This is because if you look at the shelf at the side, the scorner closer to the bed will form a poison arrow which cuts into the bed. Since both side cuts into the bed, it is like an X. Which is bad feng shui. So not recommended. Even if you replaced it with a table, the same effect will be created unless you ensure that where you sit the poison arrow will not cut you. And/or at least if the corners are rounded, then not as bad. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Samantha, You will need to apply the Eight Pie rather than Nine Grid form of the flying star. This is because flying star does not define a room by a square, it actually sector by sector. Grid form has its benefit for simple layout, but for more complex / irregular, the Eight Pie sector divison can let you know which sector falls under what influence. This means that a room can be divided into two different influence. So you have to apply the cure according on the sector that is covering that portion of the room. Hope that helps. Dear Samantha, If your house is a landed property (ie bungalow/semi-bungalow/terrace etc), then you have the option of taking the frontage of the house itself rather than the main door. Flying Star's facing/frontage can be defined differently depending on the type of house and where the main door is located. For apartments especially on lower floor, taking the main door is often better as long as the door is not located in a very odd sector. But for higher levels, it is better to take the frontage from the living room/balcony where most light enters. But generally, whichever way you decide to take the frontage, the main bulk of luck comes from the surrounding, as for the flying star, as long as you balance up the various influence properly, whichever frontage you select will eventually be harmonised. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Pam, In feng shui, you should not attempt to force an activate of a star. Since you have a situation which isn't possible you activate the mountain star, then there is very little you can do. A mountain star can only be activated in a sector where there is no window. Otherwise, it does not create a solid backing which is what the Mountain symbolise. So what you can do is attempt to fix up and/or activate other sectors that is possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Charity, Basically, there could be several factors which may go wrong. What I can do to help you here is give you free paid reports that may help you understand what could be causing your problem. Most of the the time many areas such as:- 1. Feng Shui luck of existing house could be bad (please use flying star report to check) 2. External shapes and form (ie any sha qi from buildings across the home cutting into your home) 3. Ba Zi element / career (ie weak wood but having metal career which destroy your weak wood). 4. Ba Zi colour (ie weak wood dislike metal - white/gold which destroy your weak wood) 5. Unsuitable House (ie house face North water element, but if you are a weak fire for example, then water destroy weak fire). Unfortunately, there are so many people asking us for help, and we are not able to help each and every one personally. So if you are willing to do alittle work yourself with the paid reports, we can always guide you a littleon questions or areas which you are unclear. Please e-mail support@geomancy.net (Attn: Robert Lee), if you wish to have these paid credits. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear KL Tan, There is very little you can do to correct a eight house suitability issue. Anyway, it is still very common to have a house that is Spook / Irritation which is still acceptable. At least it is not as bad as having a house that is Death or Disaster. As long as you have a bedroom which is in one of you 4 good directions. This will help to offset the unsuitable facing direction. Other that this you should try to:- 1. Fix up anyleaks in the home. 2. Correct as much of the problems such as flying star bad sectors 3. Choosing suitable colours that match your ba zi so as to improve your overall luck. Just because one analysis is bad, does not mean that it is end of the world. This is even more so especially when you just bought the house. But at least it is not the worst issue. Just that you cannot enjoy the full benefit of the house. Hope that helps. Dear Rose, To answer some of your question:- a. For the poison arrow from street lamp, if you have aday curtain keep it close so that the lamp does not cut into your home. b. A house with missing corners is typically not good. There is very little you can do to fix this given you are on the 2nd floor. But such corners does make decorating it quite a challenge. c. As for the clutter, unfortunately too much items makes anyone feel uncomfortable. You should try to do some cleaning to clear some of the unused item. Also having lots of storage space can help keep such items out of sight. It seems that you had posted several posting. And seemed quite desperate. The best I can do is give you some complimentary credits to help you check on several of these areas:- 1. Feng Shui luck of existing house could be bad (please use flying starreport to check) 2. External shapes and form (ie any sha qi from buildings across the home cutting into your home) 3. Ba Zi element / career (ie weak wood but having metal career whichdestroy your weak wood). 4. Ba Zi colour (ie weak wood dislike metal - white/gold which destroy yourweak wood) 5. Unsuitable House (ie house face North water element, but if you are aweak fire for example, then water destroy weak fire). Unfortunately, there are so many people asking us for help, and we are notable to help each and every one personally. So if you are willing to do a little work yourself with the paid reports, we can always guide you a little on questions or areas which you are unclear. E-mail us privately at support@geomancy.net (Attn: Robert Lee) for the credits. That's the best I can assist you at this point. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, This really depends on a few factors:- 1. If it is a home/office built anytime after 2004, it will automatically be a period 8 house. 2. For houses built in period 7, it will remain a period 7 house until a major renovation is done to convert it. Please note, that a major renovation typically means changing of the house structure by knocking down some wall etc. Such renovation will take effect amost immediately. Most other renovations that are less major (ie painting of wall etc), or morelike repair work typically are not enough to constitute a major renovation, so it may or may not change depends on how much works are done. Most of the luck from home comes form the external feng shui. The rest comes from the home itself. Often if the external feng shui isn't good, no matter how much you change the interior, you will not be able to see a significant change in luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, In terms of this question, with regards to Grand Duke and sitting direction. If possible, you should avoid sitting facing the West. However, where you have constrain in this, then this Grand Duke issue is the least concerned. There are many concepts but not everything has to be followed depending on priority. Since you have a choice of direction North, then it would be advisable to sit facing North. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Pam, At first glance, it doesn't look good because if you consider the shapes and form, the corner bend of the road (close and far) on the opposite becomes a sha qi cutting into thehouse. So not really a good house in terms of shapes and form. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anthea, Yes, under the fortune telling analysis, Moles on Face is one form of analysis:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-face.htm In our website, we all along do not emphase on fortune telling portions for even ba zi. This is because, we believe that a lot of such fortune telling if any only create fears for people. And it will create this self-fullfilling concept. Where a person believes so much in the negative prediction, that you actually make it happen. Frankly, any form of even cosmetic surgery (how small), carries a risk of danger. So is it really worth the while to do so? The best way is to try to be in harmony with your envrionment, by knowing more about yourself, your home, your element, your colour, your career etc. This way, whatever other problems, can be balanced up. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
