Dear Anon, Basically Feng Shui is about maximising all area. Toilet in Center of the house is one factor in the analysis. Though, this isn't considered the best house to have, but as long as you fix up and improve all other luck areas, you can thus offset this inauspicious influence. Frankly, there is usually no way you can change the room into another room due to the way the pipes are laid. This is especially so for an apartment.Frankly, there is very little cures except to improve other areas of your luck. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Rich, For apartment above high floor, it is common that you should take the frontage of your home based on where most light comes into the house. This is often the living room balcony. So stand at your balcony and measure the compass direction and whatever that results. That is where your house frontage will be. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, This attachment is exactly what Cecil mentioned. Look at the WC / Yard and Utility Room. It is located beside the main door. This means whenever you need to enter into the house, you actually walk pass the WC which is thus why it is inauspicious to have the toilet located very close to the main door. So it isn't considered very good when you consider the shapes and form concept of the house layout. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Anon, I believe, I had just answered this question regarding an earlier post just a few replied before this. It is not abour the air-con ledge, but rather the toilet which was too close to the main door. Having a toilet located very close to the main door is considered bad feng shui. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Brandi, Feng Shui is not a mircle cure all. In your case, you should go for medical science iemedical nicotine patch and family pressure etc. These will work much better in this case. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
-
Dear Elena, Yes, that is indeed correct. In fact the center of the house where all the energy converged, should be left empty if possible. So in this case, it is definately more ideal if you look for another better house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
-
Dear Anon, Actually, what Cecil was saying that it is a pity that the back/utility/service balcony toilet is located so close to where the main door entrance is. Since Qi (Ch'i) flows in from the main door, it passes the toilet and thus so call get dirtied by it. So that is why it is not so favourable. Not so much as the ac ledge. For a house, it is very inauspicious to have toilet located very close the main door. This, just happen to be of this configuration, and thus not considered as favourable. Hope that clarifies. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Hoa Luong, The best water element feature is a water feature like fountain. This is often the best and direct representation for water element. 5 (Earth) and 7 (Metal) is often best dealt with with a water feature which will convert all the negative energy to sometime beneficial. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Joan, When faced with such a situation, try to take the opportunity to check if period 8 is better. If it is you might want to consider to fly your house chart to the next period. If not, then water feature is a better option. It is best to place outside the house. This is because Water helps to exhaust Metal and then Metal helps to exhaust the Earth. So it is harmonious. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Ross, Frankly, a lot of sites which you now see with Time Zone factors are actually created by Modern Feng Shui Masters. In fact, there was no such thing in traditional calcuation. The only true way you should apply timezone is not just by GMT factor, but truely to take the true location factor (ie long. and lat.). However, even this is very dangerous as if you just get one degree off, your analysis will be completely off by a great deal. From our experience, we find that you shouldn't waste too much time to factor in these GMT changes. Why? 1. Most concepts are truely based on like YEAR of birth which by itself is already flawed in that it does not consider day or month of birth. So such concept like compass school are one such which thus give you only 4 good and 4 bad directions. 2. Even for Ba Zi, though ti consider day and month, ultimately, the accuracy of the ba zi analysis is based on the month and year, which thus already give lots of variation for errors. Thus, even ba zi, if you do not use hour of birth, your chart can still be fairly accurate. 3. Also, what you need to also understand is that many of these concepts are just one piece of theory out of several thousands of concept. Often the most important factor whether a house is good or not lies with the Shapes and Form of the external environment. So Eight House for example is used as a a foundation to let you know which direction is most suitable etc. This is one small factor out of the entire analysis. 4. Often it is important to focus on a global picture of your house feng shui. When you do this, you will understand that Eight House is such a small factor in your house analysis. 5. We have done so many cases such that we find that frankly, there is no need to make any alteration to the analysis based on GMT, in fact it is much more accurate then factoring GMT or location factor for the very fact that one small error in the location factor makes the analysis way off the original analysis. In addition, GMT nowadays are so simplified, that it is no longer accurate indication at all. So our advice is for you to just use the analysis based on your local time. DO NOT apply any location factor into consideration. These will only make your analyses less accurate. So if you use our tools, just use your normal local time. This will work much better in the end result. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Gemini, If one goes strictly by the five element concept: 1. 8 goldfishes plus 1 black 8 represents earth, 1 represent water There is no real beneficial relationship here. 8 Earth is then exhausted by the goldfish (metal), and water later exhaust the metal. Though, it forms Earth - No major significance. Often based on phonetic sounding, 9 or 8 are better sounding. 10 sometimes is referred as 1 and 0 and sometimes people don't like zero. 3. Under period 7, often feng shui masters would recommend 7 + 1. Where 7 is weak metal, 1 is water. And this is a harmonious productive combination. 4. However, under period 8, you might like to consider 6 + 1, which is 6 Strong Metal, 1 is water. This is harmonious productive cycle. It is often better to have a productive sequence then a destructive sequence. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anooja, Frankly, there are many concepts in Feng Shui, so it is ultimately important to understand which one is more important for what situation. 1. Most important for a house is to fix all poison arrows (sha qi) usually the shapes and form concept. 2. Try to balance up all Flying Star inbalances in the house. 3. Try to ensure that colour scheme are suitable to person sleeping in that bedroom, but at the same time colours to be extra careful are like Wood / Earth colours which may inadvertantly activate the bad flying stars. 4. Of course it is ideal to harmonise all the cures, but certain cures takes priority helps you know when to do what. If you follow the above, then cures shouldn't be too difficult. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Joan, Yes, the thick headboard/cushion sounds much better than the existing setup. So by all means go for it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Agnes, Unfortunately, we do not practise fixed bagua template or often called Black Hat Sect (Tantric). As this is a modern invention and not traditional Feng Shui. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, Based on the Holy Trinity of Luck, Man (Human) Luck is easier to work on. ie moresocialisation, getting opportunities to meet potential partyetc. This is much better then depending on those items you mentioned, as they are more for decorative purpose. There is no such luck item that will guarantee you romance. You will have to make that effort to give yourself the opportunity for any romance to even start. Just like in ba zi or any romance analysis. Even if you are supposed to have a romance luck say this 10-year period, but if you hardly meet enough person, you are less likely to find someone which you feel you want to live for the rest of your life. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi Anon, This isa common situation for most people. However, this isn't the end of the world. 1. What you should be doing is to ensure that the house should suit the breadwinner (your husband). This is because the breadwinner provides for the family, so making sure that the breadwinner fits and suits is most important. 2. So for the bedroom you (the spouse) should then have a higher priority for a suitable bedroom while your husband can have a less suitable bedroom. Also, if possible not to have Death and Disaster if possible. This is how you give and take. Breadwinner takes priority for the main door facing, while the spouse will take better suitability to the bedroom. 3. Once you get a homethat generally fit most of requirements, then you can later worry about maximising other luck factors where possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Personal Elements
Robert Lee posted a topic in Ba Zi Feng Shui / 4 Pillars of Destiny / Life Reading
Dear William, Yes, this means that you lack lots of Metal, and because you are a Strong Fire, Metal represents your wealth luck etc. So you should be working your way to improving these few areas of your life. Particilarly, having more Metal related in as many part of your life. (ie your home, your career etc). Your Home ie a suitable facing direction:- Earth - North-East/South-West Water - North Metal - North-West/West Your Bedroom decor ie shades of colours and furniture colours:- Earth - yellow Water - blue/black/gray Metal - white/gold Your personal objects / dressing ie shades of colours:- Earth - yellow Water - blue/black/gray Metal - white/gold Your career ie a Job favourable for you are:- Earth - Customer Relations, Constuctions, Games, etc Water - Advertising, Arts, Communications, etc Metal - Accountancy, Banking, Investment, etc People around you ie your family your friends etc. weak Earth, Strong Water person The more of these favourable elements you have, the more balanced you will be and thus, things will tend to favour you more. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee -

Dear Nicole, Glad that you enjoyed the books. You can read more information from this two reference links:- 1. How to use an ordinary compass http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-cecilcompass.htm 2. How to draw an Eight House Chart http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm More importantly the facing direction rather than the main door itself. So that you can apply the two compass school concepts (eight house and flying star). Please refer to reference 1. and 2. above on this. An ordinary compass will do. Please let me know if you are still unclear. Simply provide us with your layout and we can assist you on it. We just need the North (0 degree) marking on the layout. After you found the marking, you can then superimpose the eight house or flying star chart onto your house layout. If you can scan or fax it over to us, we can assist on you to find the centerpoint and divide the sector for you. For international fax, please add country code +65 before our fax number 6482-0570. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Janice, 1. The Eight Aspiration is a static template which is based on the bagua and therefore least personalised to any one person. 2. The Eight House at least personalises to the year of birth of a person. Thus, there is a certain level of personalisation. 3. You should always follow priority, ie Eight House before Eight Aspiration. So only after you confirm it matches the Eight House, then you can fine tune further with the Eight Aspiration. 4. Just like all theories, you have to know what each is for and apply accordingly. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, For sleeping position, of course it would be ideal if you can sleep in the direction of the good direction. But sometimes you can't. So most of the time as long as the bedroom sector is suitable for you, you already getting luck from a suitable sector. In addition, the shape and form placement of the bed is sometimes more important than the sleeping sector. The only time you can try to get everything done right is when you first renovate the room as only then do you have the luxuary of setting things right. Anyway, since you cannot do anything here, then what you can do is try to fix up or correct other flaws so as to compensate for this problem. Remember, that there are a lots of other factors that will affect your overall luck. So failing one question out of a 40 question will not mean you will get bad luck if you still score very good on other questions. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee Thank
