Dear Anon, It depends on the chart. I noticed for such chart, the reverse may be a better solution where you should follow the follow by creating the initation of the missing elements. Such as say in this case say you are a Strong Water. In such "unique" cases, it is sometimes better to continue to strengthen Water, while having Wood, to initiate the creation of Wood, which in turn creates Fire, and in turn create Earth etc. But without looking at your chart I cannot comment any further. Dear Ang Chye, Upon reviewing your message, I would like to inquire about your reasons for wanting to hang a Wind Chime. Is it solely due to the presence of star 5 in the year 2000? Or is it because the imbalance of Star 5 in that particular sector necessitates the use of a Wind Chime as a remedy? Personally, there are more effective cures available than using a Wind Chime, which can often come with complications such as varying element types of rods, different rod numbers, and hollow or solid rods. Additionally, incorrect placement of a Wind Chime may lead to more issues rather than resolving the existing problem. It is advisable to only apply a cure if you are certain of imbalances in the sector. While Star 5 is classified as a Sickness or Misfortune type of star, similar to Star 2, both being of Strong Earth, your focus seems to be on the star 5 of the year 2000. To determine whether this star is auspicious or inauspicious, it is essential to consider the 20-year base star, such as 6-3-8 (where Mountain & Water are related to the 20-year base star). When Star 5 enters, it becomes 6-3-8 plus 5 years. This does not necessarily mean that the 5 star will bring bad luck or create an inauspicious sector. In terms of Flying Star, there are triple combinations like Wood, Fire, Earth, which are considered harmonious and lead to the production of Metal and Water, promoting harmony. Dear Anon, I am not sure which front page you want to be improved. I understand that there are many different entry pages which many users are coming to our site from. Also, due to the high volume of visitors, there are lots of cached pages stored at the local ISP for quick access to the site. Dear Jenny, Actually, when we look at Feng Shui you will find that we never put false hope on say finding the wealth corner or simply enhancing wealth only. Simply because it is not possible or easy to locate these factors simply by using any one theory. It is more often you will find us looking for overall solution in terms of the various problems you encounter all together. We always emphasize the importance of overall balance in every single area of your life. This means that if there is a problem in the Feng Shui relating to Shapes and Forms, we find a cure for that. And when there is a problem in the Feng Shui of the House (Flying Star), we recommend a solution for the problem sectors of the house. And same goes for the rest of the theories such as Eight House, Pillars and etc. If you noticed what we often do is to correct all the various problems rather then enhancing good areas. Just take a look at the following example:- Say two different persons are facing problems such as money problems (whether not saving enough or having financial problems). Say if one of these family only want to know how to increase their wealth to solve this problem. This family ask a Feng Shui practitioner or master to help them enhance the wealth. Then under the advice, the family purchases fountain or wind chimes and spent lots of time and money just to ensure that the wealth is enhance. However, did not focus on finding the problems that may cause this lost of wealth. Instead another family wants to solve their problem by rectifying all the problem areas. So, having analysed all the situation, say there is a problem with the house in this sector and problems with say the suitability of the house etc. So this family tackles all these fundamental problems. If you compare, what you will find at the end result is that the second family who had solved all the major problems affecting their family will enjoy a better life than the first family. After the second family has enjoyed a better life (less stressful, more harmony), the second family can then consider to enhance his wealth. Remember that when we talk about Wealth in Feng Shui it DOES NOT mean money only. Wealth can be in having lots of children, having a very happy and harmonous life, and some properties. Since most of all his problems are solved, he will find life much better. And if he enhances his good sectors during this time, he will enjoy even more! Dear Anon. I hope I got the correct reference for the term "six killing" as there are a few different "six killing" used in Eight House and Flying Star. I believe you are referring to six killing as Liu (6) Sha / Sar (Kill) which is one of the directions in the Eight House called spook. Generally, since it a desk direction, if you can shift it to your beneficial direction, you should. If not, at least strengthen yourself with your favourable element. For example if you are weak wood, make use of water (Blue colour etc). Hope that helps. Dear Anon, We are by no means any expert graphic designers. So we can only advise you on the types of colour scheme at best. You should seek an graphic designer to help you on the design of the logo itself. Being a weak Wood in an Earth related job. To be able to contain your Earth job, the way to do is to strengthen your Wood, so there should be some blue colour (Water) surrounding the brown / green (Wood) colour. Dear Anon, In the traditional practice, Five Element has been tagged to only CHINESE CHARACTERS. Thus it has been officially used for Chinese names only. However, in recent years, some modern Feng Shui Practitioner has tried to employ these techniques in English Names. I believe I had also come across reading about this. And even some had converted some English names with Five Elements subsitutes. Well, it is difficult to comment on something which has not be tried or tested or has any traditional implementation techniques. So it may or may not work. But so long as whoever came up with this theory has sufficient understanding of the Five Element and applies them properly. Yes, it is possible to do so. Dear Anon, There are many debates over this issue. It is stated that usually the reigning period will control the stars, this means that star 5 in period 5 would be good. However, in some debate, it is stated that for period 5 which is a center Gua or not one of the eight directions it should be replaced by another trigram of from one of the official Eight Trigrams. In another debate, a proposed solution by using the I-Ching was recommended. So far as you can tell this is all yet to be proven so well, we have to take the traditional, that the period 5 should be represented by one of the Eight Trigram rather than 5 itself. Dear Jojo, You should not activate or solve the #5 simply because it falls in that sector by using a wind chime. You have to look at the overall interaction of the #5 in relation to the 20-year sector. Usually, if you have cured or solve any problems with the 20-year itself, it should be quite safe for you, as they additional yearly star should not cause that much of a problem. However, yearly star should still be look at. For monthly stars, it is even less important, unless you always have the time and ability to keep track of the stars changing every month. But personally it is a little too over zealous to keep making changes each month. Usually, you will fix the 20-year and maybe the yearly star and just let each day past as per normal. Dear Anon, 7-9-2 Is not very good combination simply because the Strong Earth (2) is not being controlled very well by weak Metal (7) and instead the influence is enhanced by the weak Fire (9). Thus creating a strong Star 2 (Sickness) In addition 7-2 come together signifying Disaster. The solution is to control the Star 2. Which is by using metal. The best metal cure so far is to use 6 metal coins tied with a Red String. Hang in at the door in that sector. This should help to control the strong Earth (2). Dear Anon, Please also remember that for any element say Wood, there is a weak or a strong wood, similarly for a Metal there is a weak or strong metal. Certain combinations can be extremely good say if:- The Wood is a Strong wood, then the girlfriend is a Strong Metal or even a weak Metal, as it helps to control the overly strong wood. Dear Fraser, I am not sure why you cannot [TAB]. That should be no problem at all. As for the Enter suggestion, I have made the following changes to all login pages:- 1. It will auto focus on the Username as soon as the page is loaded. 2. After entering your username and password all you need to do is press enter. 3. After you click on the login, the window will auto focus to the target window. So that if you happen to have the LOGIN window open either by the My Adviser, My FengShui or My Mail, it will bring that window to the top.
