It is for this complex calculation and possible analysis error, which made me decide to created the Pillars of Destiny Program. The report and analysis generated from the report can then be used to focus on what kind of luck you have, what kind of wealth, using it to find appropriate cures for fixing problem areas etc. No. There is no such thing. Yin and Yang can also be both strong and weak, and can also changes (eg. too much yang changes to yin and vice versa). The yin and yang combinations like the heavenly and earthly mostly used for analysis characteristics etc. There are many Pillars of Destiny Books out there, and I have seen many that actually does not tell you the importance of certain analysis and how to use these to analyse certain aspect such as wealth, marriage. Many of the analysis normally do not apply every set of rules in actually determine the most accurate birth element as it is a very tedious process to do manually. I remember a Feng Shui Master which my Grandpa did for my father, took a few weeks and the result was a thick book (50 pages or more) analysing both the birth element and the 60 year luck period. But do you know what? My father told me most of the prediction never came true. Why? the month calcuated by the master was completely off. Thus a totally different interpretation was the result. In fact out of curiosity, I generated on using the completed report (that time was v2.3 report). To my surprise, the luck period analysed happen to give a rather accurate of the account of problems and good period which he had encounter. Thus, it was after then, which I decided to make the program analyse more deeply and even up to an accuracy of 5 year period rather then 10 year period. Thus, you can see that in order to properly analyse any Feng Shui theories, knowing the actual formula and where and when to use it is very important, as different Feng Shui Theories are used for different purpose, using it blindly can be very dangerous. To date, from what I understand is that in order to provide the most accurate result a Feng Shui Master must actually apply many of the theories together to get the most accurate results. For this reason, we have come up with the various modules in the Report Management for users to use and combine together to perform an accurate Feng Shui Audit. I am of course constantly trying to improve and add more modules to help users. This is one of the theory in Pillars of Destiny whereby fire destroy your metal, it represents that metal is your weath deity or star etc. If you are weak Fire, you will not be able to control the deity or indirectly you will not be able to full control your wealth. Instead, you will be burdened by it (for example, end up having to say constantly pay bills for repairs, pay fines, medical bills, etc). If you are Strong Fire, you will overpower your wealth star, as such you have better control over your wealth, meaning that you are able to save money, invest wisely and let your money grow etc.) These is generally how this can be interpreted. This can be for your additional information. Furthermore, as mentioned Metal will destroy Wood, which you will end up with little supporting element for your fire. However, the most important aspect for the house is not this, but the constantly movement of the flying star which can mean that at certain year, in certain months certain stars may clash which will bring you some bad luck etc. But generally, when we apply especially the 20 year flying star, what you should see is how is the Feng Shui of the house, if you have a house that has a main door of say double 7 (in the period 7). Then, you will find that the house will bring you extremely good luck and wealth, even if the house may not suit your element directly. Furthermore, the funitures which you have put in, may also influence and change or enhance certain elements which you lack. So, due to so many reasons and cure available, it does not mean that you have to change to any house for better luck. Maybe sometimes you just need to apply a few cures and enhancers (protectors). For example, in the Flying Star Chart, your SW sector is influenced by a mountain star, then all you need to do is to put an object with a some mass (like a stone paper weight) on the shelf in that direction. This will enhance and improve the Feng Shui of your house. There are many people who after fixing the problem areas, and enhancing mountain areas, within a few days to 1 week, their luck started to change, etc. But most importantly, is to apply correct cures and enhancements. Dear Mark, Under the Flying Star numbers 2 & 3 are not very good. 2 is normally misfortune and sickness. House number is not really widely practice because it is not really an accurate fortune telling tool. The reason some Feng Shui masters take that into account, is more for flats or high rise buildings. They believe that not every level will have the same feng shui even though the building has the same type of design layout for each level. Only under this circumstances will some Feng Shui master apply this theory giving it additional depth in the analysis. (So far from what I tried, it is need true more for high rise then low rise, for low rise it is not very useful). So may be you like to take note of this. Alternatively, not enough carbohydrate is also bad as you will be too weak. Thus, you will need to apply some cures to yourself. You can make use of the Five Element cures, see what are the cures that you can use for weak fire. You can do so in the Report Management. Generally, for weak fire element, fire or wood is definately good, also anything that can destroy your water such as earth is also good for you. You can use personal cures such as wearing a colour that is good of your eg. red for fire, green or brown for wood. For more details use the Five Element cure module. The Eight House theory gives you a personal direction which is good for each you. You will notice that there are 4 good and 4 bad. The most important is that the main door for the breadwinner should fall under the any of the 4 good (the best would be the excellent) direction. Then the next most important application for the Eight House theory to your home, is your health and longevity should be located in the rooms you are sleeping in. You can also apply this theory to the direction which you are sleeping or working. In terms of determining whether the house is actually good for you or not, the Flying Star is more important as it will tell you the Feng Shui of your house. Metal for your fire is actually your wealth. However, you are not a strong fire so you can't control it, which means that you will probably be burdened by it. Metal does destroy your good which in both your case (if you are weak wood) may not be good. But in any case, this would also depends on the Feng shui of the house. Dear Eve, Actually, I personally do not think that is absolutely correct. It is just like saying that every one has the same Eight House Direction or Pillars of Destiny. However, in order to say that is correct we have to see under which theory did the FS Master predicted this. I am not sure if you seen the recent mails that has to do with he Chinese Astrology and the 12 Animal Signs. Just looking from that angle. You will noticed that everyone luck for the year is different depending on which animal sign you are and what is the animal sign for the year. Maybe you should still stick to the cures that has been generated based on your Pillars of Destiny. And maybe in addition to that, you might like to take a look at the 12 Chinese Astrological signs of the year to determine how it would affect you this year. The reason to this is because the Chinese Astrology Signs can be related to the clashes it has to your element sign, therefore, can be relatively accurate if you believe in the existence that everyone is guided by the 12 Animals and personalized to your own destiny. Dear Carolyn, It seems that your ventilation is rather bad. Maybe you like to purchase those air ventilation cleaner or something close to those equipment to keep your air clean. And try to open as much of your windows as possible. Also, as Glyn has mentioned you might like to take a look at the Feng Shui of your house. You may like to take a look using the Eight House and Flying Star (a more accurate report then the Eight house which includes the time factor of your house.) If you are using the Eight House, you might like to make sure that the rooms which you are staying in is your longevity or health direction and not disaster or other bad directions. In that case, there are some basis of for certain incompatible colors. Maybe you like to check it out what is being used to generate the forecast first before making any changes to yourself. Dear Glyn, There are altogether something like 10 stars or so called deities (5 direct and 5 indirect). This can be later used to analyses what kind of wealth you have in your Eight Characters of Birth and how much these deities can assist you in your life. Each will allow you to check for say marriage, wealth and more. However, you need to analyse it with several the luck pillars and the normal chart in order to determine the what you are looking for. Dear Glyn, Will do so when we have the time, as there are 24 combinations for the year of tiger and rabbit to post. I have seen a couple of english books on this mater but cannot remember off-hand. Anyway, just take note we are looking at Chinese Astrological version of the 12 animals and not just the normal western Astrological 12 animals signs. If you noticed, we have to provide tiger year as the year only ends on 15 Feb 1999 as well as the rabbit year. Chinese Astrological Signs can be calculated based on the clashes between the animal signs and can be used in relation to the Pillar of Destiny for further accuracy. And other triple combinations. As such you may see different types of interpretation. But so far the Chinese Astrological version of the 12 Animals Signs is very much related to the fate and fortune, thus you can say it is quite accurate, but only if you believe it as after all, it is only accurate to predicting what may happens in the months to come. To predict day, other theories such as Flying Star or Astrological Star (zi wei dou shu) may be more appropriate.

Regarding this you can use another theory called zi wei dou shu (Star Chart), some kind of Chinese Astrology. You will be able to generate a zi wei dou shu which you can use to predict luck (for gambling or whatsoever.) Yes, you can read up from books, but just remember that as far as possible look for those written by personal who had say training in Hong Kong and Taiwan. These book written by them will contain more accurate theories with regards to Feng Shui.
