Hello and thank you for your wonderful website full of very helpful info for learning more about Feng Shui.
I have been learning about Feng Shui by reading much on the internet and would like to consider how I can improve the Feng Shui for my current house. I am interested to have an expert professional like yourself help me. First I’m hoping to get a sense of whether the house has potential for improving or is it best just to move in our case. I am open to all options right now.
I have read that a house can have its period changed by doing a substantial enough renovation, which must include opening up the roof and ceiling at least 25% of the house footprint. I’m in a period 8 house (finished in 2015) and my standard compass reads the house facing and door as both S1. My husband and I are both West group, 8. My question is, since he and I are both West group and the house is an East group house, does a renovation even help us much? I already find a bit of strain with not having optimal locations and directions for rooms in the house, like bedroom in NE and heads must point to East to have layout work and be in command position, garage in SW, etc. The house is on a corner with the busier road in front to the south and a quieter road to the east of the house. We don’t have much yard behind the house as another house is just behind us.
I also read that in period 9 the S1 house is the class 1 type of house and is considered “period proof” so doing a large renovation seems like a wise investment if it will help.
Any help and information you can share is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
