  1. Dear Cheui May, 1. You brought up a good question. 2. I would apply the "33.3 percent Rule set." 3. I call this the 33.3 percent rule set as a general guide to better understand certain Feng Shui concepts that are universal: For example, 3.1. When we determine a "missing corner", we usually, say that a missing corner is one where it is 33.3 percent missing or the area is greater than 33.3 percent. 3.2. When one wears e.g. a `T' shirt, and to enhance oneself, for example a weak water person could e.g. wear blue shirt. It covers more than 33.3 percent of his entire surface of his body. Contrast this with wearing a ring or many rings. This is just an example. 3.3. For water positions, it is best not to exceed 33.3 percent in a specific room. If so, I consider the room more YIN. Because too much water creates too YIN an environment. 4. Now, we come to "COMMONSENSE" approach to answer your question. Why commonsense? If we notice, it is impossible to place a huge rock in a house. The object usually would be small. But, `silly' human beings have the means to palce a 8 feet by 4 feet water tank etc... Thus, if you notice, we may consider, placing `more' WATER. But, I cannot imagine anyone as yet place a 200 kilogram rock. 5. The above is how I would analyse, the situation and in my opinion, explain why, I view the `smaller' object NOT a threat. Warmest Regards, Cecil " 33.3 percent Ruleset " (C) Cecil Lee, 1997 to 2000
  2. Dear Members, 1. One of the key success factors being sane with applying FENG SHUI is to differentiate between AUTHENTIC + good practises and TABOOs. 2. If we look at it in another way, we should not become a SLAVE of machines. But rather, use it for our benefit. 3. Likewise, adopt Feng Shui methods that has a `possible' chance of working for most people and discarding the BAD practises. 4. There will come a time, (in the very near future, which I forsee, that spell out failures of `FENG SHUI'. It would be best that TRADITIONAL FENG SHUI SCHOOLS do their part in providing proper advise. And also be the FIRST to make sense out of the overwhelming materials that cause so much misunderstanding and `misfortune'. 5. If the trend continues, in no time, this may eventually come true. 6. Practise FENG SHUI sensibly and with moderation. I like to share with you my "interpretation" of this:-
  3. Dear Members, 1. I recalled, in one of the messages that someone was told to bury `treasures' at corners of the house and even the center of the house. 2. It did him no good and `wealth' does not seem to come easy. 3. Fortuantely, I believe, these `treasures' are merely tokens. But they still cost some money. Either paid to the practitioner or purchased elsewhere. 4. Here, I call this `Credit Card Feng Shui'. For all you know, the person may have purchased it through his credit card and still continue to pay his `unpaid bills'. As we are aware, credit card interest rates are astromical. Here are some caricatures, which, bring light to `burying' wealth at wealth sectors. and As usual, the `Black HAT' does not help much
  4. Dear Anon, 1. Currently, there are many factors that can attribute to the situation you face. 2. At the preliminary (without using proper Feng Shui tools for analysis), the two trees do not seem (in my opinion to be large ones) as you had mentioned that it is lower than your window. 3. More investigative work can be done. But generally, too many trees e.g. the two trees even though they may not be that large may in certain circumstances create a too yin situation. And based on time dimensions in Feng Shui, at certain timing, the location may become too yin and thus create such an imbalance. 4. Try, for the moment, not to take too drastic a step such as chopping the tree down. But you may consider, trimming it or pull over the curtains fully at night. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  5. I often find `Fortune Tellers' placing tables at street corners telling people's fortune. I always asked myself this question " Since they know where the MONEY is, then how is it that they do not use it for their own beneift? "
  6. The most uttered word is " I " or me. The most beautiful word is:- Can I have more?
  7. Dear Anon, Please refer to my reply, to the similar question, under the message " How important is the door of the main door " 4/18/2000 posted under this forum (Free Advice (Gen Topics))
  8. Under the `flawed' sector concept, we ask questions like " WHAT HAPPEN IF? ". What happen if my Wealth or even the Prosperity Sector is at the Toilet bowl area? Do we move our bed, TV set, and spent much of our time there? Thus, if we reason properly, does it mean we have to DO THIS? Warmest Regards, Cecil
  9. Dear Alison, 1. Frankly, if `wealth' sector is so easy to find, everyone can easily find it. Or enhance it. 2. Feng Shui is a "holistic" approach to enhance luck. Thus, it is not like placing all the eggs in a basket aka `paying homage to the "wealth" sector' 3. A `holistic' approach to Feng Shui involves: 3.1. If one's house generally has good Shapes and Form, 50 percent of the battle is worn. 3.2. There are other Feng Shui theories and each is specific to certain situations. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  10. 1. This report does not apply to landed properties. 2. It is useful if you have decided to purchase a unit in a particular block. Here, you can use this free report to find which units are `better'. For example, if Unit #10-10, is more auspicious and still available, as against e.g. unit #11-10, you can choose this unit instead. What the sample report looks like:-
  11. Dear Elena, Thanks for your remarks. I do agree, totally with what you said:) I currently, have lots of caricatures on other `commonsense' approaches, but overwhelmed with the `time contraints' etc... Will `push' them out, ASAP.. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  12. Dear Anon, Please see below:- 1. Feng Shui, like other methods, provides a sense of hope in various ways. It creates opportunities for us to explore with optimism. 2. However, it is important to consume Feng Shui in moderation. 3. It is natural for people to seek self-improvement, and in my view, when applied in moderation or correctly, Feng Shui can have remarkable effects. 4. On the downside, I am aware of numerous cases where individuals have either applied "Fast Food Feng Shui" on their own or placed excessive trust in Feng Shui, leading to negative consequences such as purchasing too many objects like wind chimes. 5. Currently, I am privately assisting two such cases. It is easier to conduct a fresh assessment than to rectify or reverse poorly executed assessments. 6. The popular belief is that opposites are often attracted to each other. In most relationships, there is an initial honeymoon phase followed by a period of finding faults. If a couple can navigate through this phase with mutual understanding, their relationship is likely to endure. 7. The phenomenon known as the 'Seven Year Itch' affects some couples but not all. It suggests that after seven years of marriage, one spouse may start to have wandering eyes. While this may not be true for everyone, it highlights the challenge of maintaining a strong and lasting relationship. 8. I apologize for digressing from the main topic. It is quite common to find couples with opposing Feng Shui elements, such as one partner being an East House person while the other is a West House person. 9. There are numerous Feng Shui theories, and it's worth noting that some individuals may not even be familiar with Feng Shui yet lead fulfilling lives. Some people are naturally blessed with good fortune and positive energy, regardless of their knowledge of Feng Shui principles. 10. In my opinion, a mature relationship has the potential to last the longest. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  13. Dear Yuki, Chinese Astrology 1. This issue may not be directly related to your problem. But let me highlight for interest:- 2. The closest to understanding our "characters " or "traits" is sometimes through `auto-suggestion". 3. Another area, is in the field of Chinese astrology. 4. Sometimes when one reads too much of their `Astrology' characteristics, we tend to `play the part'. For example, when we are `told' that we are a Tiger, and a tiger person has certain characteristics, some of us, may use such auto-suggestion. 5. Your problem with inter-racial relationships is akin to this. Once you can break `auto-suggestion' that inter-racial relations, cannot happen to my family, show your family, that you truly understand that they mean well. They will, gradually be `touched' by your true love for each other. Avoid going to the `extreme' such as `flights of fantasy' where, one shows or throws `tantrums' or anger. This will not solve anything but create more problems. Warmest Regards, Cecil
  14. Dear Anon, 1. I am not sure if this is a `consolation'. 2. Many new condominums, have units (frontage) facing swimming pools. Sometimes, this can be quite noisy, but, to some practitioners, it may imply `activity', which may be good. While others may consider it bad. 3. The best consolation is based on the fact that during Chinese New Year, the letting off of `firecrackers' create noise and this act "was" (nowadays banned in many countries) said to `scare away evil or bad luck'. 4. *JOKE -start-* If noise can `irritate' us, it will most likely `irritate' (if there are any) non-humans. *JOKE -end-* Warmest Regards, Cecil
  15. Dear Yuki, 1. This issue is currently too `complex' to pinpoint on which theory can be effectively be used to help you as very little is known. 2. Even if full audit is done, it may not necessay help, as human relations are complex subjects even, Organizational Behaviour specialists (Human Resource) are still looking into. 3. Another situation is the Human Relations concept of `peer pressure'. In Organisation Behaviour studies, it was found that collagues use peer pressure to get their colleagues to `conform' (if they can). Here, if a `worker' can do more work than others, in time, he or she conforms to the group by working at the same speed. The above, may or may not be true for all occupations etc... Some of these are documented cases such as the Hawthorne experiments etc... For example, if one is too hardworking and outshines others, your colleagues may feel `threatened'. Thus, most likely `back stabbing occurs'. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. above are my personal opinions through previous studies on OB etc.. thus, there are many, more concepts etc...
