  1. Dear Cecil, Thank you very much for answering my questions many times in the past. There is one more quesiton in the meantime that also bothered me for a while. People told me that inside the house, or outside the house for that matter, it is bad chi when a door directly faces another door. For example, if a bedroom door is facing another door, which could be the bathroom door, study room door, or even another bedroom door, it somehow affects your well-being. Another example is that, when your entrance door faces directly with your neighbor's entrance door, same thing happens. All this, does it matter? -Wendy
  2. Hello Cecil, A popular belief in asian cultures that a house with an entrance door directly opens into stair cases is a bad house. First of all, is that true? If it is, how about a bedroom door directly facing stair cases? In a friend's house, one of his bedroom doors looks out directly to the top stair cases (It is on the 2nd floor). So does that bring bad chi into the room? Or is that not a concern? Another question that has bothered me for a long time is that, if the bedroom door faces a bad direction but the garage door where one comes into the house all the time is facing a good direction, is that still a good house? Does the direction of the bedroom door matter? How about if the main entrance door which is not used often faces a good direction but the where you come in all the time (e.g. garage) faces a bad direction? Is that a bad house then? According to the free home analyses you have kindly provided, my good directions are those of a east group, but strangely west, northwest, southwest and northeast "sectors" are good sectors for me, and the other four (4) sectors are bad sectors for me. So I think I have been very confused about what are good or bad for me as far as trying to purchase a dream house. -Wendy
  3. Hello Cecil, A friend of mine told me that when cooking one must face a good direction in front of the stove, or money burns away. For example, one of my good direction is east. When I stand in front of stove cooking I face east. So according to him it is good. The other way would not be good. Is this true? -Wendy
  4. Hi, My step-father very recently had a spinal cord injury and cannot feel any sensations from waist down. His house is 3 storage, so I need to rent a house that has everything on the flat ground before buying one. I will have to move in to take care of him. He is a west group person, but I am an east group person. I will be making payments on the house, but his health is really important. So what do you advise? Also, 6 months from now he might start working again. Please advise. -Wendy
  5. Hi, I checked the center of the house, the bedroom is probably part in the northeast sector and part in the east sector. The whole house is a long rectangle where the long wall of the house faces 330deg if looking from the center spot. My bedroom is on the short side of the house right on the top of the garage, closer to the central northeast (45deg) side of the house ( there are another small room adjacent to my bedroom close to the central east direction 90deg). I am not exactly sure about the exact length of the house, so it is hard to say if my bedroom is really in the northeast sector or mainly in the east sector. So my question would be if my bedroom resides mainly in the northeast sector, what harm will it do? I looked up the eight house theory, the northeast direction entails petty annoyances, headaches and disease, but is not the worst direction for me - just bad. So are those things very bad? Will they really affect my overall health and career (money luck)? How bad is bad? Thanks in advance, Wendy
  6. Hi, My bedroom is fairly small. The bedroom door faces the bed regardless where the bed is placed. The door direction is south @210 deg. Currently the headboard of the bed is lying against the north wall. The window is on the east wall. My desk lyes against the north wall on the west section of the room, where the bed is placed against the north wall in the east section of the room. The closet space takes the entire south side (two sliding doors). What should I do about the door situation? According to the free analysis, I am a east person with South as the best direction. Please help. -Wendy
