  1. Dear Cecil, I have recently heard of a fengshui principle called the Water Dragon fengshui which when applied is supposed to attract great fortune and wealth. It is said to be so powerful that if the abovementioned is what one wants, than by finding the exect direction of the main door and using the formulas to determine the exit flow of the water one can ignore all other fengshui priciples relating to if the inhabitant's are of the east/west group or flying star guidelines. What do you think of it's validality and application. Thanks for your time again Cecil. Regards, Yew-Meng.
  2. Hello Cecil, Thank you for your prompt reply and fantastic insight into door positions. However I think I should have been more clear in my question and therefore I have attach a site plan this time. As from the picture, I have wanted to construct the main door of the proposed building site to face the river(North) and therefore a clear and unobstructed view as and have the green dragon(Active) on the left of the house which is the side walk and the white tiger(Dormant) on the right which is going to be a vegetable garden. As the house slopes downward, the back houses provide for the black tortise and the river would be the red phoenix which in my opinion, perfect in fengshui theory. This relates back to the former question of having access from the back door and does that change the overall fengshui plan that I have suggested? Do you think I have got it right? Thanks heaps again.
  3. Hi Cecil, I have previously asked questions regarding the determination regarding main doors, and thanks for your illustration on finding out the direction of main doors. My question today is that if I have a main door and a back door and the family were to use the back door to enter into the house more frequently, does that mean that the back door is now the front door in feng shui theory even though it's a smaller door than the front grand entrance? Thanks again. Yew-Meng
  4. Hello Cecil, I have 2 questions: Question 1: What determines the entrance point into the house? (Please see attached). From the attached, the entrance point into the house(no door) is on the North East sector while the main entrance into the house sits facing North, so does this house sit on the North or North East? Question 2: If I were to build a house with the back area facing the main road(South) with the main front entrance(North) eracted facing towards the back, does that mean that the house then sits south and faces north even when I enter the house through a back door from the back into the house? I guess to summarise my question, how significant is the main door, does it serve a design purpose in fengshui or do I have to use it to activte it? Thanks for your time again. Yew-Meng
  5. Gooday' Cecil, I have a question regarding main underground running electrical cables. With the feng shui theory of having a phoenix on the front, a green dragon on the left, a white tiger on the right and a black tortise on the back of the house, I understand that the white tiger area should be a relatively calm compared to the green dragon area. Therefore, if an underground wiring were to run under the white tiger area, does that constitute activity? Thanks for your time. Yew-Meng.
  6. Cecil's Attached Note: Yew-Meng, appreciate if you can attach the picture again as it did not show up in this message. Thanks, Cecil Hello Cecil, Further to our conversation, I have attached a copy of the land site that I was speaking about. The meandering black line is the river and where a man stands, is the site that I was speaking about. I hope the map of the river would give you a better picture of what we were talking about. Many thanks. Regards, Yew-Meng.
  7. Hello Cecil $ Robert, I have heard of theories regarding different feng shui practices due to the different magnetic poles. For example, it is said that Australia is at the southern end of the sphere and therefore the water when flushed rotates anti-clockwise as opposed to clockwise and therefore conventional feng shui when applied should that of the opposite. Is this true? cos there is a book written on this subject just for Australia!! Another question, I have noticed that the web site has analysis for flat and unit numbers, how do I apply that for house numbers? Thanks for your time again. Regards, Yew-Meng.
  8. Thanks Cecil for your prompt reply. The land site that I have mentioned have not other hilly formations. The river is sandwitched between a valley which has housing on both sides and the land site that I mention sits on the top of one side. The slope on the back towards the river is approximately 60 degress and to me the river is relatively stright except that it is bowing slightly to my side of the valley. Also the house number is number 4, is that inauspecious in feng shui terms? Thanks again. Regards, Yew-Meng
  9. I am buying a piece of land for residential purposes. It is sitting on top of a hill with river views at the back. The front is facing North with the river on the back/south. Is it considered good Feng Shui to build a house on this land?
