lili123
Dear Cecil,My husband is Kua 1, our house is facing South, and thekitchen is in the NW corner of the house. According tohis kua 1, NW is the lui sha corner so to have thekitchen there is kind of suppressing it down. But onthe other hand, when look at the 8 house aspirationNW is chien corner, it is "fire at heaven gate".I am confusing, please give me some advices.Thank you for your time.QL
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 17, 2008 Staff Share Posted August 17, 2008 1. One has to look at it from simple "mathematics" or "counts".2. Here, you mentioned that "according to his kua 1, NW is the lui sha corner so to have the kitchen there is kind of suppressing it ". 3. While NW has two major disadvantages:-3.1 NW represents the Head of the House and3.2 NW based on the trigram represents Heaven or Heaven's Luck. Thus there are TWO major disadvantages vs just your husband's kua that it is good to suppress it. Here there are TWO disadvantages vs ONE advantage. Thus based on this simple count, there are MORE disadvantages than advantages for the location of the kitchen i.e. Para 3.1 and 3.2 should be seriously considered, first. The stove is located in the North facing south, and there is an empty space in the NW corner of the kitchen. I hope that is still ok.Thank agains
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 18, 2008 Staff Share Posted August 18, 2008 These are some of the considerations (without any ranking or priorities):-1. Hopefully the stove is not directly at the NW cardinal point. If so, earth and water should be used i.e. Earthen pottery can be kept in a nearby cabinet close to or above or below the stove. And at least one bottled 1.5litre water should be placed nearby the stove area. This bottle should contain clear water. And replaced, say every few months since this water is not for drinking.2. Preference for kitchen cabinet colours NOT to be bright chilli red or bright red colour. Earth tone or light grey or metallic or white is best. 3. Preference for even number of hobs e.g. 4 hobs instead of 3 hobs.4. If the stove is directly at the NW cardinal point, MAY consider using induction stove at that sector.5. If the fridge (refigerator) is directly at NW, then avoid RED coloured fridge (refigerator). Metallic, yellow or light grey or off-white, white fridge colours are the best. These are some of the considerations, which I can recall for now.
