Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 2, 2008 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2008 1. The three figurines are very popular locally in Singapore, Malaysia i.e. in the Far East. 2. The proper Mandarin Pin Yin names are: Fu Lu Shou 3. Please do a Search in this website or on google to find out more of the three gods. 4. Note: Your placement is not correct. The proper traditional placement is as shown in the attachment. 5. In Chinese books, the pages are read from RIGHT to LEFT. Thus the images: Fu Lu Shou is as shown in the attachment. Nowadays, some Singaporeans, place it from "Left" to "Right". Frankly, this is not proper. 6. Frankly, the ones you have is not the best quality. In Singapore, many of them are considered antiques and the quality and workmanship are finer. Further, the three pieces have varied themes such as Fu and Lu carrying babies. This set is more "family " oriented. While locally many are more collected with "wealth as in $$$" instead of purely family orientation.
