Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 14, 2008 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2008 1. The major concern has to do more with th Grand Duke (Tai Sui) as he is suppose to be a diety with feelings. 2. Thus this lead to the concern that one should not antagonise him such as touch or disturb him.3. Thus between sitting south facing north, it is better to sit north facing south this year.4. Since south has only the five yellow, only remember not to disturb that sector, thats all. Rather than face Tai Sui. Five yellow is thus not a diety. So facing south this year does not offend any diety.
myfs_135277
Hello Fengshui Adviser,I am born 1969, my kua number is 4 and I am a strong water type. The north and south direction are my best directions.I am confused to find the best sitting position in my work place.- Some people said, sitting on south facing north in year 2008 is bad fengshui because the grand duke (tai sui) is in north and the 5 yellow star is in south.- Other people said, sitting on north facing south in 2008 is bad because of 5 yellow star.which one is actually bad: facing 5 yellow star or sitting with back against 5 yellow star?Is there any cure? like putting dragon tortoise behind me while I am sitting?Thank you in advance. myfs_135277
Master Lee, thank you for the answer and it helps me a lot.I still have a question regarding this case.Is it still ok to worship deities facing north? I have worship table sitting on the north facing south. So if I worship the deities, e.g. Mi Le Fo,I have to face north, since he "lives" in north heaven. Thanks in advance.Best regards,Yang
Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 15, 2008 Staff Share Posted September 15, 2008 1. The concept, is similar to "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". 2. In addition, imagine that we have or had already invited a "deity" into say our home. And if we are not changing to a new home, it would be "impolite" to shift the god or worse, have anyone seen an altar on wheels? 3. Once we have settled the altar, (the first time we moved-in), best not to "unseat" or worse "distrub" them.4. Thus the most powerful important thing is "unless we have a good reason" don't distrub your exisiting god or "deity". Unless in the first place, they were wrongly placed or posited. Such as placing the altar facing a toilet or sharing a toilet wall etc....
