myfs_135368
hello, i have had a three legged money frog for years now. just recently, while cleaning after a party, i noticed that the coin in its mouth is missing. i know that it had to have happened during the party because it was there when i was cleaning before the party. it could have possibly been knocked off as people were walking in and out of the house--it is placed just inside the doorway facing inward--or perhaps a curious child removed it. anyway, i was wondering what i can use to replace it. it had a jewel in the center that matched the jewels on its back. or, should i get a new one because it is bad luck that its coin went missing? i appreciate any feedback and thanks in advance! Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 20, 2008 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2008 1. Frankly, the three-legged toad is considered like any other decorative figurine (full stop)2. In symbolism, it is always good that figurines kept in a home, especially those that have an opened mouth, should have something in it's mouth.3. The best thing you can do is to use any ordinary coin and stick it or (use blue tag or double sticking table). 4. Usually if it is a dragon figurine, a "fake" pearl in it's mouth would be an excellent choice. For this three-legged toad mouth, go for Para 3. Para 4, as a last resort.
