Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 7, 2008 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2008 1. Frankly, majority of the time, or intuitively, once we see a room, often, we have in our mindsa suitable seating arrangement. 2. As your message is vague, it is best that one should feel "comfortable" sitting in a direction viewing tv (based on para 1.).3. Thus, I really won't know for sure, given that there is no layout sketch. Even if there is a layout sketch, if Feng Shui is applied, considerations like the shapes and forms, eight house and flying star Feng Shui is considered.4. Honestly, a Feng Shui practitioner will often consider the environment. If the environment is a bedroom, a "sane" FS practitioner would never recommend a wind chime in a bedroom! 5. Is it a coincidence but, just recently, several messages seems to suggest that Feng Shui is an "exact science!"6. In my most recent reply to another message, Feng Shui is not like a doctor learning about the human anatomy.7. Thus, it is "irresponsible" to ask a question like " how high (wind chime should they be?" If my answer, is: " To be effective it has to be hung 350 metres high". Can you do that? 8. The other question is "where should they go". Again, if one is applying Feng Shui, then a full Feng Shui audit may be required to be done.9. I sincerely hope that when users post question, please understand that from a Feng Shui point of view, a proper analysis has to be done.10. Such questions shows that nowadays, not only many people are trying to practice "Fast Food Feng Shui" but rather, worse off - " You are practising COMMANDO style Feng Shui". This is really bad.11. As I mentioned early, if you love the sound of wind chimes by all means, place it. BUT if you are wanting to use such objects or material things in the name sake of Feng Shui, often, like a bomerang, it will catch up with you and bite you!
