myfs_136085
Dear Mr Lee,It may be very late but I am trying all ways to save my business by hanging wind chimes at my Office Main Entrance which is facing South this year. I realised that it was Five yellow and I have not done anything to counter this. There is nobody working in the office cum warehouse accept myself and only return back to do my paper work late in the night. As officedoor is not open most of the time, is it fine thatwind chimes is hang at the door but no tinglin sound. Will ithelps or is not effectivesince there is no wind blowing itto createany sound. Hope you can share your advice with me.Thank you for youe time.Ocean
Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 11, 2008 Staff Share Posted December 11, 2008 1. Yes, there is no harm in placing the wind chime even if it does not chime at all.2. But do remember the following:-2.1 The best wind chime are those that have 6 HOLLOW rods (different lengths)2.2 No fancy colours or a wind chime withrainbow colours.2.3The best wind chimes are : either 2.3.1Wood clinger and wooden roof support with6 x hollow alluminium rods2.3.2 OR Those "Feng Shui" shops one..often they are either copper plated or bronze plated ones... That has a pagoda roofand some with a "fakeChinese ancient coin" as the "central clinger".These two are acceptable. As you can see, 2.3.2 These sold at some Feng Shui shops are very heavy i.e. heavy hollow rods and heavy or thick clinger (fake ancient coin with square hole). These type of wind chime is more SYMBOLIC and in my opinion, unless it is about to rain (high / low pressure movement) this type of wind chime will not make any noise at all. And thus, is still acceptable. Thus, in my opinion, it would be good that : first choice - noise is made. But, as you can see under Para 2.3.2 - some don't even or couldn't even make noise unless under "gale force" winds.

Yes I had bought the windchimes you mention, is six hollow bronze rod and there is also a ancient coin hanging down in the centre. I had shifted the windchimeshanging outside the main door hoping to create the sound andreceived better result with the help of the wind blowing. Will it be better, and when will be the best date for me to removed when is reaching another year? Many thanks for your time!Ocean
