myfs_131092
Hi,I am sleeping with my head pointing to East which is one of my good direction. However for this year East is afflicted should I still sleep with my head pointing to East?
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 8, 2009 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2009 Please check my recent message on the same subject and type of question asked.Clue: The Eight House concept is not like the "Grand Duke" concept! Again, try to find out what is the Eight House concept:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-ApproachI really don't understand why this year, (and only) this year so many confuse the Grand Duke with the Eight House?? Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 8, 2009 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2009 Further to what I had mentioned:-1. What has the Eight House (Eight Mansions / East/West Group or Ba Cai) Feng Shui to do with annual afflictions of the Grand Duke / Five Yellow and Three Killings?.2. First and foremost, the Eight House concept is one of the TWO compass school theories. The other compass school theory is the Flying Star Feng Shui.3. Frankly, too many are either having a phobia or simply don'tmake an effort to understand concepts like the Eight House properly.I wonder how did one ever link this concept with Grand Duke / Five Yellow / Three Killings? And not sure why some are so free to move their bed (bed-head) annually? Don't you have better things to do than to move your bed (bed positions?) 4. I like to emphaise that Grand Duke / Five Yellow / Three Killings are based on annual afflictions.Recent posting, can be found, here:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Grand_Duke_%26_Three_Killings
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 8, 2009 Staff Share Posted February 8, 2009 1. It's a pity that only in this "crazy" world of Fast Food Feng Shui would someone want to change the bed-head position annually. Think about this!2. Who in their right frame of mind has ever considered moving the bed, and re-arranging, say the bed room console, and internal arrangements in a bedroom? Again, only those too free or nothing else better to do.3. Chinese Beliefs: Pregnancy VS Moving Bed - Annually Many Chinese believe that if one is pregnant, one MUST never move the bridal bed, else there could be a likelyhood of an aborted birth. Thus all these talk about moving bed-head to "cater" to the whims and fancies of the Grand Duke or the three killings is but an unfortunate mis-conception. Furthermore, many bedrooms are constrained by having a bedroom door, attached bathroom (door), windows and other "obstacles". In fact, those who think that they can practise Annual moving or changing bed-head directions should think again! Else, normal sane persons would call these people "SIAO" (Hokkien phrase) for MAD!
