Me and my husband is planning to invest for a house & lot by next month. I am very confused of which gua to follow. According to some of the researches i made, i should follow the 8 mansions leveling the gua at the wall of the door (meaning career will be near the door). So, the wealth will be at the Southeast sector. Then, i also read that we have to follow our kua number. Me & my husband belongs to west group (i am 7 he is 6). We are both bread winners of the family. Our auspicious direction are Southwest, West, Northeast and Northwest, where northwest and northeastsectors are most auspicious for us. Which should we follow? The gua or the direction? Or is it the same? In the house that we are planning to choose the bathroom in the ground floor is at the wealth area while in the 2nd floor it is at the helpful area. (attached floor plan). please help us. we want to have changes in our life as we are suffering from credits so it is important for us to have a good feng shui house. thank you so much.

1. Please note that BOTH Eight House (Eight Mansions or East/West Group) and Flying star Feng Shui belong to the Compass School of Feng Shui.

2. In a very recent reply, I had mentioned that :

2.1 we human beings have a birthday.
2.2 a home also has it's birthday.

3. You are "arguing" on the basis of what suits your birth-chart and imposing this to a home.

4. Instead, of "arguing" about how you can impose your "will" of Feng Shui on the home, think about this: We humans have to harmonise with our environment, FIRST!

5. Thus, the clue is that a home has it's own birth chart. This would depend on where is your proposed facing and sitting directions.

6. Little things like where or drainage of your home - right to left or left to right out of your frontage is more important!

7. So, why impose your will on the home's Feng Shui? You must instead harmonise your home to the most optimium facing direction and from there work out the rest....

8. The saying goes " A little knowledge is a dangerous thing". And furthermore, from your message, parts of it looks more like Kindergarten Feng Shui.

9. If you truly want to have a flavour of what really, really Feng Shui is about, and your dream home:-

Many, simply DIY and later find that Feng Shui does not work. Who is to blame, here? Especially for those who have thinks that Feng Shui is so so simple.... "simpleton"...
