When assessing the flying star chart for my home, the cures/enhancements for my annual stars are different from what is advised for my fixed stars. Some completely contradict each other. Whichstars are more powerful and therefore which remedies aremore important to implement? Thankyou for your help.

1. I can think of many factors - for or against doing annual audits:-


1.1. Many experienced Feng Shui practitioners try their best to do a Feng Shui audit "balanced" for the 20 year range of a home. Thus since we are close to the begining of Period 8; good Feng Shui practitioners would give advance based on their best "solution" for each home. Thus any Feng Shui audit done between 2004 (now 2009) to before 2023 should be the best "bet".


1.2. As the 20 Year Flying Star chart suggests it looks at three variables: the Mountain# the Water # and the Base (Palace)#. And it is this relationship of the three stars at each sector is where most practitioners are concerned with.


1.3. Many people cannot afford to call for YEARLY Feng Shui review. In addition, many popular Feng Shui practitioners cannot really, really afford to do annual reviews for a large percentage of their existing clients. It is not for the money matter (fees) but rather, imagine the multiplier effect:-


1.4. For example, a Feng Shui practitioner who is in this business for 10 years. He would normally may have at least 1,000 to 5,000 customers (clients). And if every year, he needs to do annual reviews than.... imagine his/her work load!


1.5. Perhaps, it would be different for a start-up practitioner who may be "hard-up" for $$$ and would then emphaise the importance of annual audits. I have seen this trend more towards practitioners overseas...


1.6 In Singapore, nearly 1 in 20 ro 30 believe and seek Feng Shui consultation.Imagine, you are not in San Francisco, where there is a high concentration of Chinese. And you are a practitioner in New York. Naturally, you would wantmuch needed business. Since many New Yorkers are not into this Feng Shui type of thing. Thus, this in general may be aHIDDEN AGENDA.


1.7"IF IT AIN"T BROKEN DON"T FIX IT"


Often once a proper Feng Shui audit has been conducted, many don't need annual check up of their home. IF they need to, it is based on "is it broken? If not.. just leave it".


2. As mentionedunder Para 1.2, majority of sectors for a home hasalready been "preempt or" analysed based on the average of the 20 year flying star. Majority of homes, don't need annual reviews.


3. In fact, those who call for Annual Reviews are usually the less popular or (no business) type of Feng Shui practitioners who are hard-up for $$$. Why only stop at Annual? If you are a firm believer of annual reviews, then, this is NOT correct. In fact, there are the MONTHLY flying stars and even the Hourly Flying stars. Might as well put your house on wheels and place it on a turn table!


4. In addition, please note that Flying Star and Eight House is but only half of the real Feng Shui luck. Shapes and Forms also has a high weightage for a home. And Shapes and Forms is fixed. You cannot simply feel that because a neighbour's home is blocking your view, ask your neighbour to demolish their home. Those that engage in too much Flying Star activities, serve you right as one will be unneccesarily worring about cures for yearly, monthly ..... Don't you have better things to do?


5. For example, even as a Feng Shui practitioner, myself, I don't carry out a Feng Shui audit for my home: What I do is at the begining: Finding a good home with favourable shapes and forms and in Period 8, find a good home that has double #8 stars at the frontage. Full stop.


6. Many silly fools, think that putting this or that or trying to squeeze luck, can bring their "run down house = car" e.g. if your house is just like a 1000 cc 10 year old Hyundai car, you cannot expect a miracle, afterwards. But rather, I would invest in a house which already has "Mercedes benz" or "BMW" qualities. And maybe perhaps, activate the #8's and that is all!


7. The rich, gets richer because, they buy quality stuff, and anything else is, go enjoy themselves. While the "poor" is always looking at ways to "enhance" their house (car).


8. For example, in many car conferences, e.g. Renault car clubs..... this guy purchase a Renault 1.6 cc Megane and asking around how to make his car more powerful: Sprintbooster add on? Re-tuning etc... Go get a life and if you want power... go for a 2.0 ccMegane, simple!


9. Even in the recession, the rich is always... there because they buy recession proof (or at least some value) cars like BMW or Mercedes. They don't go and buy Volvo, Renaultor Audi. As although these are still reasonable cars (in Singapore), once you buy them the value will become "scrap value" plus mercy over-trade amount, that's all.


10. Thus imagine, many common people simply look at the grass. And no choice but to eat it. Or trying to squeeze as much as they can from the grass! While the rich, goes for Quantum Leap in Feng Shui. (Search for the term Quantum Leap, and you can find cases where the rich - homes already have quantum leap, before they step into it.

Further to what I had mentioned, there is a vast difference between the "rich" and the "poor":-


1. The rich, invests in a good quality home. And many of their homes have a Quantum Leap in Feng Shui i.e. without doing anything more, they are suppose to enjoy wealth luck from their home. And many of such homes "suck" wealth from the surrounding.


2. The poor, buys a home equivalent of a 10 year old run down, maybe 1,000cc car. And every other day, think of ways to enhance or simply trying to squeeze as much luck they can from the home.


3. The rich can better spent their quality time and get on with their life. They also think of the big picture.


4. The poor, grows more and more "white" hair and many die much younger than the should be..... And worry unnecessarily on where to get their next meagre meal.

1. The smart, gets good advise the first time they search for a new home. They do it once, RIGHT, that's all. And the smart goes to concentrate on better things to do!


2. The ignorant, buys the home and then pays Feng Shui emporiums to stock their homes with rubbish products.


3. The ignorant, also asks Geomancers for first-aid in the form of "pasting elastoplast" all over their "leaking" home.


So which is more important? Invest in advise to purchase a good home? Or wait until the home is purchased before calling a Geomancer to apply first-aid to resuccitate the home?
