Hi,

I need advice about a lovely piece of stained glass that I was given. It's in the shape of a diamond - that is, it's a square piece of stained glass but the orientation is clearly meant to have the points at top and bottom and left and right. Obviously this could project sharply - poison arrows galore! - in all 4 directions, so I'm wondering what to do with it. One idea I had was to hang it on the wall of a long narrow hallway like a picture, because it would be flat against the wall and would be pointing at the ceiling (empty attic above), floor (empty garage below), and the framing of the rooms on either side of it along the hallway.

If this won't work, can you suggest a safe location/method for hanging it? I also considered it as a suncatcher for the large glass window above the main door of my house, but it seems as if the sharp corners would be the opposite of welcoming for relationships and good energy.

Thank you for all the good advice I've seen here; I hope you don't consider my question a waste of your time.

In harmony,
Nancy Lynn

1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, yes, one has to be careful of angular objects particularly the "tip" especially if it faces or aimed towards a bedroom or an "opening" such as a bedroom door or the main door.

2. Otherwise, in general, it may still be acceptable to place it at common areas - should normally be ok.
