Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 23, 2009 Staff Share Posted May 23, 2009 1. There are three major considerations if Feng Shui is applied to evaluate the new private property:-1.1. Commonsense Approach to Feng ShuiMorning and Afternoon sun is a major consideration for any home especially for countries like Singapore at or close to the equator.Majority of the time it is either the master bedroom or two bedrooms of the homes that will be "bathed" by afternoon sun. (Direct morning sun is not ideal but not as bad as afternoon sun. This forum has touched on some of the concerns of afternoon sun and it has an effect on persons living in the home. For children, their studies - the heat...1.2. Shapes and Forms Feng ShuiLocation, location, location: any specific traits such as slopes, large drainage can have a huge impact on a home.Even where the drainage drains out of the home is critical! For example, most homes have three excellent drainage (and even left to right , right to left flow of drainage): two locations are wealth and the third is for power and authority i.e. can go far in politics (business or government)1.3. Compass School Feng Shui: How suitable the home is to the breadwinner and the Flying Star Feng ShuiEven for the Compass School, things like west house is not good enough. Which compass point the home is facing, or is the home very bad if it falls smack in the middle of one sector and the other.. which implies doom. Thus, it is not so simplistic to say main door faces west....... For the Compass School, eight house concept, also can take into account which bedroom is better for which family member....This link shows a sample of what to look out for in the quest for a "dream home":-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3FAnonymous wrote:Im interested in a new private property.
